my husband bought a GE induction cooktop last January. We have been having trouble with it, turning on Lehman's appliance service has been here 3 times and it's still not working properly. our biggest complaint with them is they don't return calls. They don't show up when they're supposed to. They were supposed to call early again this morning and still no phone call. It's 1020. Call them and no one answers the phone... Not reliable on my opinion it's very frustrating to waste your whole day waiting and they don't call this has happened several times only the first time they showed up. Was it on time and efficient. They were perfect, made an almost immediate appointment and kept it, brought the part they needed (a dishwasher arm for my basic Frigidaire) took only 20 minutes, and charged less than I expected. I would not recommend Lehman's Appliance because the repairman used foul language and threatened to remove the pumpand hose and not return the dishwasher to the original condition. Instead he said that it will not work and can not be used. He had extra labor because he tried to install the worng the hose which was delivered by the manufacturer. If I could give zero stars, I would. Lehman's came to my home earlier today to do some in-warranty service on my GE refrigerator/freezer. The freezer fan was making noise & needed to be replaced. After the work was done, I had to leave the house for 4-5 hours to run some errands. When I returned, I found that my fridge was OFF! The freezer was up to 24 degrees and the refrigerator was up to 45 degrees. The small amount of ice that was in the ice bin is now water and ALL the food in my freezer is half defrosted. I am NOT happy. I left a message with Lehmans - I think they need to pay to replace all the frozen food in my freezer that has now likely gone bad. read more

Horrible customer service!. PLEASE ASK GE scheduler to use different company to do the warranty repair!! After waiting a whole week to get a call. I had to reach out to them to schedule another appointment they didn't show up to. The lady who schedules the appointment at this company is very rude and claims she is the manager so when I asked to speak to management about her service with me she said there is no one else to speak to or higher then her and laughed and then it was unacceptable the way she talked to me. After waiting at home for an entire day I called GE and they said this company would not be able to get to me for four more days. Then, we waited for another full day and no one showed up. I needed a washing machine repaired. When I called, they were extremely nice and able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. The day of service, the service technician called with a 2 hour window and arrived within that. He assessed the damage and went to purchase the part. Returned within 20 minutes and repaired the washer. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'm very happy with Lehmans and will use them again for appliance repairs. read more

Lehman's was recommended to us by Frigidaire/Electrolux to repair our ice-maker under terms of our extended warranty. It turned out the ice-maker worked fine; someone had turned off the spigot supplying the fridge. In the process of finding this out, the serviceman, refusing help from my wife, muscled the refrigerator out of its cubby -- a two-person job -- and gashed the side of our fridge, which otherwise was in pristine condition. He also broke some tiling on an adjacent shelf, tiles from Mexico that are difficult to replace. (He also either removed from the fridge or brought for no discernable purpose a plastic piece that neither we nor another appliance company's serviceman could figure out.) Had the guy told us about this, that would have been sad but we could have worked something out by way of reparations. Instead, he kept mum, even accepting a $10 tip from me with a smile. When we discovered the damage done, I called Lehman's to speak with the owner, who turned out to be the serviceman's father. It's a family business. The owner asked what happened, seemed to be taking notes, and implied that he'd look into what occurred. We never heard from him again. When I called Frigidaire/Electrolux's warranty people, they told me there was nothing they could do about our predicament. Frustrated, I wrote to Electrolux's North American vice president (it's a Swedish company I'd dealt with in Sweden, with very high standards), who referred me to one of his customer reps. A nice person, she was astounded at our treatment and promised to do what she could to make it right. Apparently, not much. She expressed to us a second mysterious piece of plastic ("It's very important," she told me, "but I don't what for") and dispatched another repair service to our home. After a two-minute going-over, the repairman -- who seemed very realistic about things -- pronounced, "There's nothing wrong with your refrigerator," and then suggested we take other action to get Lehman's to make us whole. ...And that's where things stand. We can go to Small Claims Court to force Lehman's to pay for the damages; perhaps it's necessary. Would we want to do business with them again? Never. Will we buy a new extended warranty from Frigidaire/Electrolux, when this one runs out? Probably not, given Electrolux's inability to enforce high standards among its contract repair services. Next time we need repairs, we'll just call Christie's Appliances, Tucson's best, or Tucson Appliances, where this fridge was purchased. We know from past experience we can count on them for quality repairs AND trustworthiness. read more

They may talk a good talk, but they do not perform. Had to wait from September 9th to October 5th for a supposed freezer repair. Claimed they were closed on Saturdays because they are a family business but their web site says they are open. You would think that a customer with spoiling frozen food would be considered urgent, but not them. When the freezer went out on August 2nd, I called Frigidaire/Electrolux under our extended warranty, which is valid until 2023, & they sent a man right out. He said there was a buildup of frost, defrosted it, and said it would be OK. It was not. When I called again on Sept. 9th, I was referred to Lehman who said they could not come out until Sept. 14th. When he finally came, he badmouthed the Frigidaire/Electrolux repairman & said he didn't know what he was doing & he should have ordered several parts, which Lehman said they would do, but wouldn't be able to until the next day & that because they were not at the office on Saturdays, they couldn't pick up the parts until the next Monday. That was September 28th. After a few days, I called & was told the parts were not in. I called Frigidaire/Electrolux & was on hold while they checked. They said the parts were on their way. Finally, Lehman called & said they would come out on Oct. 5th. They did and proceeded to remove the interior back panel, said there was normal frost buildup but they would replace the parts anyway. He had two sealed boxes which he only opened when he was here. If they had been the wrong parts, would we would have to wait until the right parts came in? The repairman, Chris, muttered about how Frigidaire made the repair process frustrating & difficult when he tried to remove the front display panel. Finally got it off, inserted the new one, and again badmouthed the original Frigidaire/Electrolux repairman, saying he should have ordered the parts in the first place. I asked if I could recycle/trash the boxes & old parts and he said no. He said the parts tested good & he would be able to use them for repairs for other freezers, & that he had to return the circuit board from the display panel to Frigidaire. Personally, I think we did not need these new parts & that Lehman was padding their invoice to Frigidaire. Just my opinion. He looked around our kitchen & said if we ever needed repairs on our LG appliances to call him - FAT CHANCE! I would never let him near my LG appliances! It stopped working, we called Lehman's and although there were a couple "glitches" along the way of its repair, we always received phone calls as to the progress until finally the problem was solved and it was fixed. I highly recommend Lehman's appliance repair especially if you have a Samsung fridge with a broken ice maker. I called 10 places before I found them all to learn that no one works on Samsung fridges anymore. Luckily they do. This is a family owned business which I appreciate. Richard was very professional when he arrived right on time. He was able to fix the ice maker but also had to order a fan. The part came a week later and he returned to put that in. We used Lehman's to repair a refrigerator at a relatives house, and then at our own house. This is the 3rd repair we have asked for help with. The first two repairs went without incident. However, we just had a very disappointing experience that has left my wife and I in distress. Richard began yelling at my wife and verbally assaulting her when she said it was not acceptable that a one week delay due to an incorrectly ordered part was needed because they were too busy to reschedule after the part was received. I picked up the phone to try to help with a calm voice and approach, and I was shouted at for 2 full minutes before I was able to talk with Richard. I was continually interrupted every time I tried to speak and when I asked if I could talk to an owner or a manger who wouldn't yell at me and he said I didn't need to talk to anyone else and demanded repeatedly that I answer his questions as he shouted them at me. He refused to give me his name but later I discovered he was Richard, the owner. I am left wondering how people can treat anyone with such rudeness, anger and disregard for common human decency. My recommendation is that you book your repairs with anyone but Lehman's. You may be lucky sometimes and get good service, but you never know when Richard will verbally attack you. I honestly would have feared for the physical safety of my wife and I if he had been present in our home. Tucson, AZ. Lehman's is the the worst company I have ever worked with. It has taken over a month for them to fix my dryer. If it were not for Lowe's working as the middle man, they would have gotten away with their deceit. They took my dryer apart and left it apart in the middle of my hallway for the past two weeks, knowing I had six kids under the age of fifteen that could have gotten hurt. (Tort claim). When the ice bucket on our freezer broke, I had no idea who to call about getting it repaired. It seems like a lot of new appliances these days require servicing by a certified repair person, so I called Samsung for guidance. They put me in touch with Lehman's Appliance Service. I couldn't find any reviews for them, but they had an A+ rating on the BBB (not that an A+ guarantees anything). So I took a blind leap and made an appointment. I'm glad I did. Rick (the owner of Lehman's) was professional, courteous, and clean (good hygiene always scores points with me). They came with the correct part and had it installed in less than 30 minutes. While here, he explained to me what had happened to cause the malfunction and told me how I could avoid it in the future. He also charged me his cost for the part (about $20 less than I would have paid for it had I purchased it myself - not that I would have had a clue as to what to do with it). Before leaving, he gave me a fridge magnet and let me know that they repair a wide variety of appliances. I mentioned that I also had a Samsung washing machine that had been acting up a bit. After asking me a few questions, he inspected my washer, diagnosed the issue, and gave me some tips on how to make it run more efficiently. He could have made me make another appointment to come out so that he could charge me a second service fee, but he didn't - which to me, shows integrity. If I could, I would not even give them one star! I just purchased a new Uline wine cooler. The shelves were not level after installation so since Lehman's has the Uline service contract for this area, they were sent out. When calling the morning of the appointment, all Chris was concerned about was who was going to pay him. That should have given me a clue about how everything was going to go. When he came out he said we purchased a low end product, things are not made the way they used to be and we shouldn't be surprised we didn't get a quality product. Plus he said you couldn't tell if something is level by using a carpenter's level. What??? The entire time he was here all he talked about who was going to pay. I didn't hire him, so he shouldn't have even brought up payment with me! He did not perform any service and called back the next day to say he talked with Uline and said the installers should be able to fix it. And then he started talking about payment again! First service call they diagnosed that my mothers washer needed a new transmission, when she spoke to Rick he was very impatient and yelled at her not knowing he was on speaker phone. Luckily my niece ended the call. We complained to Frigidaire about this company they have under. I was referred to Lehman's by Lowe's to repair a fridge/freezer I had bought from them. In fact Lowe's set up the appointment and everything. Lehman's called and tried to set up an appointment for a different day saying there tech had to be in the area at 3pm. I asked to set appointment for before that as I had to work that night. We settled on doing it the day before, like Lowes originally scheduled as I would be home all day and the representative said between 8am and 5pm but that the repairman would call to narrow down time. The day of the appointment the repairman, Rick, called and said he would be there between 3pm and 5pm. At 4:40 pm the repairman called and said that they were running 45 minutes behind. I advised him that I had to leave the house at 5:20, because I had to coach youth football that night. He asked if my wife would be home and I said probably not, but that I would need to be there to go over the issue. I asked if we could just get with the scheduler to set the appointment for first thing the next day thinking customer service wise that would be the best thing, to finish the prior days appointments. He advised me that would not work, that there were 9 other people on the book. The man then started blaming me for not saying that I had to leave at a certain time and what would I have done if he got there at 5pm and the repair took longer than 20 minutes. The audacity of it all and the tone in which he spoke was rude. I was forced to raise my voice to him to express that I did not appreciate being blamed for them running late and that if something like that happened I would figure it out and have my wife come home as she worked 2 minutes away. What he said next blew my mind, he actually said, "I guess I can leave the fridge I'm working on now unfinished to come work on yours." I advised that was not required but that I would like to speak to his manager asap. He inferred a couple times that it would not make a difference talking to the manager. I finally asked, why... apparently he is the OWNER. I was shocked. I told him that day would just not work then and I would contact Lowes regarding the manner and said goodbye. He called back like 5 minutes later again arguing that I didn't say that I had to be somewhere, and actually lecturing me that one should let people know when they have things going on that might affect them. I most certainly do not. I made arrangements, I couldn't work with 45 minutes late plus time to service. I offered a resolution and he laughed at it. He actually offered then after I again explained my thought process to come out at 6am. Perfect, no problem I said... to which he replied, will you actually be up and ready? Wow! I had been reduced to a groveling teenager in his eyes apparently, a subservient human incapable of being justified. I replied, I am always up before six so sure and hung up. I promptly call Lowes, canceled the repair with Lehman's and had it scheduled with another company. I filed a formal complaint, and advised them to call and cancel the service with Lehman's. How could I trust anything they said after that experience. The repairman actually called me at 5:40 the next morning to ask it he should still come at 6 to which I advised him, NO, i canceled this with Lowe's and filed a complaint. He hung up on me. I do not know if Lowe's call him to cancel and he called to be arrogant or if they didn't get a hold of him but shame on the company and mostly shame on the owner! read more
