None of this worked for me as I was trying to surprise my wife for her birthday and I needed this project done in 2 weeks. I'm so lucky to have found Tim as he made time to meet with me immediately, worked with me on customizing the design and in 2 weeks he made it happen!! His rates are very reasonable and working directly with an actual goldsmith/jeweler just made the process so much more streamlined and easy. Thank you again! When my boyfriend (Andy) and I were shopping for my engagement ring, we went to all the other jewelry stores in the neighborhood (and then some) looking for the right ring. I am indecisive but I also have pretty specific taste...it wasn't easy for me to find much I liked, let alone something I thought I'd like for the rest of my life! We also had no idea what we were doing, neither of us had any experience buying fine jewelry. I found I ring I loved IMMEDIATELY when we went to Mozaffarian. We also liked that the store is small, and it is very carefully and beautifully curated...other places felt a little overwhelming. Mozaffarian really feels like a family owned business, and there are so few places like that left in San Francisco now. The store is quiet and it's evident from the moment you walk inside that this a place you go when you are SERIOUS about buying a beautiful piece of jewelry (or a Faberge egg! It's fun to look at those) Cynthia helped us the first time we visited the store, and we both felt that she instantly understood what I was looking for, and she made excellent points that helped me decide what I wanted - even Andy couldn't accomplish that :) We were both struck by how knowledgeable Cynthia is, but at the same time how polite and sincere - I have never felt like anyone there was just trying to sell us something, and I can't think of any other retail environment I feel that way about. This is the kind of customer service that is incredibly difficult to find these days: knowledgeable, kind people who are eager and able to help you find exactly what you want. Cynthia and Amir worked with Andy to find the perfect diamond for my ring and I could not be happier. As particular as I was about the setting, Andy was even more particular about the diamond, but they found one that met his standards of cut, clarity, color, and carat. It's exactly what we both wanted and I absolutely love it. A year later I still get compliments on it ALL THE TIME - I always know it's time to get my ring cleaned when no one has commented on it in a few days! Cynthia may be the most eloquent person I've ever held a conversation with, and I always enjoy stopping by to get the ring cleaned and catch up. We're getting our wedding bands there now and we would never have considered going anywhere else, in part because Cynthia's guidance is so valuable. We've had really lovely experiences at Amir Mozaffarian and those experiences make the rings we bought there that much more special.

After going to two other jewelry stores who told me they would send it out to Repair and it would cost between $400 and $600, I decided to try Andre Fleury Swiss watch company. Andre Took the watch and told me he would look at it and get back to me in a few days. Nice when the watch expert is right there working at his desk. A few days later, I went to pick up the watch. He handed it back to me with a smile and told me it was much more accurate now. There was no charge listed on the ticket. So I said, "how much do I owe you?" Andre said "that's all right, I'll catch you next time". "it's an easy watch to regulate... It didn't take much time at all.". If this were an old friend, I might understand that... But this was strictly business. Who does that in this day and age? Apparently, Andre does. Somehow, that made me feel just a little bit better about humanity. All I can do is give him a five star review, which is richly deserved. One other quick thing: his business is basically in an upscale office building, not in a mall somewhere. The building is really nice, and parking is a breeze. The restrooms are all unlocked... This whole experience was like a pleasant experience into the past, when life was easier and kindness was much more likely to be given to a stranger.

I went here to have a battery replaced in one of my watches and the gentleman that helped me noticed right away my watch was missing some important components like the glass that covers the bezel. He recommended I contact the manufacturer and have it replaced and even provided me with the website information for the manufacturer. Instead of just letting me leave, he meticulously placed my watch in a protective bag to prevent any damage to the watch and apologized he couldn't assist me further. Based on my experience, and coming from a sales/customer service background, I really appreciated the customer service I was provided when he could've just replaced the battery to make a quick $40 and sent me on my way. Honesty and integrity. Very rare these days but greatly appreciated. I will be taking my other watches to them in the near future.

Over the last 10 years I've used them to replace soles on boots, replace batteries in watches, and repair various shoes. Today I picked up an old Gucci purse passed down from my Grandma that was in need of two strips of leather to hold down the handle. The purse is badly stained (but well-loved) so I was surprised to see that the shop had distressed the new pieces of leather to try and match the condition of the purse.
