These guys did it again! My heater core blew steaming hot water all over my passenger compartment (and down my leg!) during my hellacious commute home one hot evening a couple weeks ago... While waiting for the tow truck, I made a quick call to let them know that I'd be towing my baby over there, and leaving it there for them to work on the following day. I was offered a loaner so that I could get home. Nice. No scrounging for a ride from friend or family. When I arrived with the tow truck, I found Shawn still there, waiiting (late, way past closing I might add) for me and my damaged ride. We moved the Audi into the garage and I was off in the loaner, heading back home. How great is that!? My point exactly. Seriously, why would you take your VAG (Volkswagen Audi Porsche) car anywhere else to be serviced? These guys love cars, and know how to treat them and their owners. (Don't fret rice burner owners, they'll work on your Subbie , Honda, and Toyota too...) I have been going here for about 7 years now. By far the best place to get work done on your car. They always tell you the truth, never try to scam you and do a great job. I trust them completely which can't be said for most auto shops. Bryce has been a god send for years and there is no one else I would want assisting me with my car problems. Super friendly, helpful, etc. I had my oil changed at the dealer and subsequent to that I had a leak that went from infrequent tiny drip to in one day a 4' spot occurred. I immediately called and Leighton's got me in right away :) They looked at it at Leighton's and saw it was leaking from around the oil plug. They suggested I take it back to the dealer since they might have damaged/stripped it and if they did anything at Leighton's, they would have to charge me for another oil change, etc. (I already paid the dealer $150 the first time so was not wanting to do that again right away :) ) Brought it to the dealer and told them this and sure enough, it was leaking around the plug (previously the dealer had indicated it looked like it was leaking in general and could be a head gasket, etc) The dealer put in a new plug and oil and did not charge me (I would have been stressed if they had billed me for the same work again), but I asked for the plug and sure enough, it was cracked along the head of the bolt/plug - e.g. the aluminum split from the threaded shaft and head of the plug. It looked like they over-torqued, but could be metal fatigue Thank you to the great guys at Leighton's (who I will have doing my service in the future) for proving the leak wasn't a 'horrible issue' like it was made out to be elsewhere!!! read more

The Service I received at Leightons was disappointing. I brought a used vehicle in for a pre purchase inspection to make sure it was in good condition before I bought it. The inspection showed a couple of problems that I had the dealer fix before I bought the car. Two weeks later I took the car into a BMW dealership for an oil change and an inspection showed that both of my rear coil springs were busted. This problem was missed on the inspection with Leighton's Garage and it ended up costing me around $1,000. I understand how someone could have missed this problem, everyone makes mistakes, but when I called Leighton's and asked for my money back from the inspection or for a discount on the fix, the employee I spoke to was rude and unwilling to help me. My disappointment comes from the fact that I paid Leighton's to inspect the car, they failed to find the biggest problem it had (which would have been fixed by the dealer or brought overall price of the car down), and when I confronted them about it they were not only unwilling to help, but also rude.
