They turned my Jeep into a machine I can rely on and enjoy. Because of their service, I brought my App State daughter in and working with Sean, we put her in an 80th Anniversay Wrangler within budget. She has a 747 credit score and perfect credit history. She wanted to purchase the car on her own. She had a job however made $1400 monthly but Hussein advised they also accept offer letters which will show her making about 85k a year. I asked before we came what banks they use. Hussein over 20 banks. Before they ran my daughter's credit..I asked them if they can use SECU and he said yes. Hussein had my daughter sign a form giving permission to run my daughters credit and said he has to take it to accounting so they can call the bank .He came back with a little sheet for her to circle which rates we would agree with. We agreed upon a 60 month term at $798 on a 41k car. Then, all of a sudden he came back with another sheet of paper to circle what terms we want but at a higher monthly payments which was now close to $900 at 72 months.... At no point and time were interest rates mentioned or written on paper. I have no idea were these terms or who these terms came from. The guy Hussain advised he is the middle man and has no control over the accounting dept. He also stated that now they want a cosigner since the offer letter is for a future job. I don't know if this is The Dealership wanting this or the bank because it was a lot of "theys" being used. So basically It came across that they weren't gonna make enough money off my daughter so they used my credit instead. My credit score isn't as high as my daughter's ...and she will technically make more money than me. However my credit history is superb. While we were at the dealership a credit inquiry hit my daughter's profile then went away on Credit Karma...At this point we still haven't seen a contract. Afters 4 hours we finally are taken back to the finances and we are asked to sign all these other documents before a contract is even brought out. The contract had a over a 12% interest rate with 1500 down with a bank called Ally which I know is for bad credit. My daughter's credit is great...mine is good...I have never seen an interest rate on a car this high. There was no document that listed the credit scores they used to make this determination. I told my daughter in front of Joseph that rates like this are unacceptable and when you have good credit ...these numbers should never look like this. I explained to her I'm signing because she is making payments and it's her car..however these numbers don't make sense....there was no transparency the entire process. They made everything seem like a big secret with what one representative was doing. Before we signed Joseph did apologize for the lack of transparency and put the blame on the guy Shawn that brought the paperwork in to him. Overall the 2 representatives I dealt with were very nice and pleasant to work with and the atmospherewas relaxed....however, I feel this company was purposely being deceptive to make more money off a higher interest rate.Just moving forward I made it clear to Joseph and my daughter that we will refinance in her name only at SECU when she gets her official check stubs. Joseph continued to apologize and told my daughter that when she decides to refinance or if she runs into problems to call him personaly and left his card. They told us the whole reason behind them giving us 2 rate sheets to sign is because of the offer letter and the fact that is for future money and not proof of funds now. Moving forward...I feel the contract needs to be brought out first along with the actual rates and interest so you are not taken advantage of. I do not recommend this place they charged me almost $ 1400.00 for an air leak that turned on the check engine light and they could not fix it, We had to take the car eight times for the same problem and they have not fixed the light is still on and they told us that they would not return the money we paid in other words they stolen the money. Tried to scam my daughter a variety of ways - low balled her on her trade in, then suddenly upped the price when she smartly walked away, told her the car she wanted was available over the phone and online (she did her research and prequalifying first) then said she couldn't have it, and finally sales "man" Johnny Shields tried to sell her a couple of trashy lemons when she got there. Chauvinistic, lazy sales techniques because they honestly believe no one will call them on it. Garbage general manager and sales manager who didn't even reply to repeated requests for answers. I couldn't have asked for a better salesman than Aziz. I had the money to buy a Jeep, I wanted a Jeep and Aziz was there to sell me a Jeep. I called up Leith, he answered and spent the time needed on the call to go through the inventory until we found the Jeep I was looking for. Then, 30 minutes before closing time, he suggested I come on in and have a test-drive. 2 hours later I drove off the lot in my new Jeep. After buying my 2017 75th anniversary ( 1941) Sahara jeep, which I learned they had driven 450 miles from another dealership in SC , my guy that details my vehicles , noticed some small like paint chips on both rear fenders ( you would've had to wash it to notice them ) the dealership would not respond to emails about repairing or offer to do anything about them. In addition, the parts department sent an email about discounts on accessories during first 90 days, & when I emailed them TWICE about purchasing some running boards & small mudflats within 30 days after purchasing, to avoid anymore paint chipping in the future, they never responded to me either. My son took his Jeep Cherokee to Leith Jeep for diagnostics. My son is a college student and is very limited on cash. He told the service manager to only do a three hour diagnostic. He kept getting text from the service manager saying the mechanic would contact him which the mechanic never did. A new service manager contacted him and told him they had lost their mechanic and a new mechanic had been assigned. Short of the story. They kept my sons Jeep for over two months and charged him $537 and never fixed any issue. I contacted Leith to talk to the GM but he never responded to me. read more

I did not purchase a vehicle from this location. I did however work with a very capable and dedicated salesperson. I was in the market for a used car, and a salesperson was very prompt in getting a car to this lot for a test drive. The salesperson was very helpful and professional, and it wasn't their fault this particular vehicle was not the trim style I was in the market for. I was able to drive the vehicle to get an idea of how the vehicle handled and drove so I could compare it with similar makes/models that I was considering. Despite not having the vehicle I was in the market for in their used car inventory, they were very helpful in me making a final decision when I did purchase a car. I will purchase more cars in my lifetime, and I will definitely return to this location when that time comes. read more

Worst sales experience ever. Sales manager couldn't be bothered to talk to me and discuss problem.

I purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer from them 3 weeks ago. After driving the vehicle for about 1 1/2-2 weeks I noticed paint bubbling and chipping that started from near the front of the hood that ran down the drivers door. I returned to the dealership on 1/18 so they come look at the car during the day time and I was treated with absolutely no respect and degraded because I was a single female at the car dealership. They told me it was my fault and compared it to dropping my phone. They literally laughed in my face and never looked under the hood. Turns out my battery exploded, leaking acid all over everything under the hood and ran out the cracks to the door and fender. It wasn't until my father went back with me to the dealership 2 days later that I was treated like an equal person. Honestly if I could leave less than 1 star I would! I really hope they value customer service and make this right! read more

I looked at a car online & had scheduled a test drive on 8/4. Everything was a go in the morning. Later that afternoon, I received a text from Erika that the car wasn't ready as it hadn't been "through the shop" yet. Not sure what that means. She asked if I could come in Friday. I could not. I asked about Saturday at 11 am. Sure, that works. Come Friday morning, my night had opened up. I sent Erika a text letting her know that I could come in Friday night. No reply. I special orders my Jeep from these clowns and was told I would receive email notifications about the build process. I was going to try to coordinate the sale of my vehicle with the arrival of my new vehicle. I also wanted the experience of knowing where my new vehicle was in the build process. 10 days after ordering I called and told them as I had no notifications yet. They told me that they did not see it in the system yet and that it could take 10 more days. 10 days go by and I call again. Again they say it has not hit the system. Finally I wait till the 30 day mark and call. Again they say it hasn't hit the system and to give it a little more time. The VERY next day they call me and tell me that the vehicle just arrived on the truck and want to know when I will be over to pick it up! Are you kidding me? My suspicion is that the floor manager never even checked the system in the first place anytime I called. Anyway, I go over to pick it up and they try to add on some additional dealer packages including things that I had specifically requested (all weather mats) for an additional 800. I had to remind them that the quote they printed me when I ordered had included all weather mats. Also my sales person had specifically said that the first 4 'Scheduled maintenances' were included if I purchased from them. I had her include that in the quote thank god because when I was about to sign the papers to take the jeep home I noticed it had changed to '4 free oil changes'. This ended up causing me to have to argue with the sales manager for about 2 hours as they desparetly did not want to include the scheduled maintenance.It finally took a 9pm call to the dealership manager to get it taken care of. As appreciation he said that I could come back the next day and pick up some free hats. The next day I go back to pick up the free hats and the sales manager pretends to not know anything about it. I explained to him that we had just agreed to it less tha. 10 hours ago. Anyway, it took the dealership manager coming over again for us to get the free hats. Long story short, be prepared for inept sales people and a staff that could give two shits about your buying experience at this place. And if they promise you free hats you better get it in writing! read more

Had a 10:00am appointment to correct a recall.... Was told that the repair would take an hour once the car was pulled in.. We came in early about 15-20 minutes. Then was asked if we were going to wait or leave it, but either way, the car should me ready anywhere between 1-3pm, and they would call when it was ready. So, it was left, and we left the number to call. So at 2:00pm, when no one has called, we return to see what is happening. Marc Nicholas, our service agent, 4 hours later, now tells us that the car hasn't even gone to be seen, and that now, there are 7 cars ahead of us. With this, it appears as though it will not be ready today, and Marc's initial pleasant attitude is now snouty and non committal. Saying it still maybe ready today, or we have a shuttle to transport you if needed. Then when questioned about what the point of making an appointment was, or if another dealership that could get this done quicker, his disposition was very snippet. I really am not appreciative of this type of service. I won't be returning. I wonder if the car will operate properly now once it is returned. I reluctantly left it hoping that it would be ready by the end of day, as Marc suggested it might, but I am very guarded about it... Right now, I don't trust them at all. Ok. It is now 8 hours later...6:30 pm and of course, there is no call, no update as to the status of car, and Marc was told that there was another appointment tomorrow, fir this car to be serviced, at 10:00 am at another place, but that now has to be be canceled because if their lack of professionalism.... This is completely unsatisfactory. If there was a chance that it was going to take more than a day to do what the service technician states is an hour job, then that should have been stated before hand and the problems that they have caused by setting an appointment to be there at 10:00 in order to have the car back in time for more work to be done on the car could have all been avoided. This is pretty unprofessional guys... Leith.... This is the second strike! So today, 8/2/16, a day later at 10:00 am, I get a call from Leith Chrysler saying that it's ready, and how ironic, a list of other things that were supposedly wrong with the car..... They had the nerve to ask, 'if I wanted them to take care of it?' Of course I said, No!....Just make a list and I'll look at it..... But Really Leith??????? read more

More customer service reps, quicker turnaround, modern waiting room with great wifi, new/modern building. Holly (my agent) updated me frequently via text. Brad (mgr) creating a real teaming approach and eager to ask me "what else can we do to improve". The cherry in top was they actually spot-check pricing on repairs/services so you are not raked over the coals on repair costs. I love my Jeep Wrangler JK I purchased in 2017 and the service center is phenomenal. I am disappointed with my last visit. I brought the Jeep in for a quick correction (which was handled perfectly). While there I asked to speak with a financial advisor. The front desk woman called for one. I sat down and waited. While waiting I noticed a bunch of dealership workers all around the back two offices, I don't know who was there but they were just chatting ( I could hear them) and none of it was work related. I don't know if any of them were financial advisors but my service was completed and I never got to speak with a financial advisor before I had to leave. Disappointing because I don't think my question would have taken longer than 5 minutes to answer. read more

OK, so I've purchased four vehicles at this location. Two from the old owners, and two from Leith. I've also had my service there for about 15 years. In that time, there's been good and bad. I will contain this review to the current owners - Leith. You work with people, and people come and go, so the quality of service ebbs and flows, too. My most recent two purchases, though were only three months apart because of a nasty wreck. The first was with Trevor and the most recent with Kristi (last names omitted here in case there are stalkers. I have to say, these two were great. I know they were selling a car, and as such, they needed to get the best profit they could, but take price out of the mix, and that's where the real value add comes in. Both times, they listened to what I wanted. They took me on test drives, and let me see the differences when I had questions. They even let me take the thing home to be sure it would fit in my garage (it did). I have to say they were the type of people that will keep me coming back the next time a bozo pops up, because I know the trend is for this dealership to have mostly good people. I also want to say that my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee saved my life in a head on collision. That's why I bought another Jeep, and these two are the reason I bought it at Leith. read more

Bought a car from this place March 2017, the guy who sold me the car (Lando Davis) was really patient with me, worked with me and even helped me get both my new and old car home. The only down fall of this place is AFTER buying a car here. I've brought it in to get my "free" for two years oil changes (2 free oil changes ever) then knew my alignment was messed up but they didn't even test drive my car around and said it was ok. Took it to another place right after and they said it was pretty bad and fixed it. 7 months later after buying the car it got totaled. My GAP insurance needed paper work from them and when I called to ask the guy (I think Gus) was rude as hell. Clearly didn't like his job. Enough said. The GAP insurance lady eventually called the place and got it figured out. read more

I was recently involved in a car accident. The other driver ran a red light and t-boned my car, which totaled my 1 y/o Dodge Journey RT. I absolutely loved this car, and I wanted another one, so I started Internet searching for a replacement. The only dealership within 500 miles that had a similar model, trim, engine specs, and color was Leith Chrysler Jeep. Here I found a 2017 Dodge Journey Crossroad (Certified Pre-Owned). My salesperson's name was Ben, and he was AMAZING from the start! Ben was patient, knowledgeable, and sympathetic to my situation, which meant a lot to me. Ben was not pushy or overbearing, and let me test-drive the car alone to really get a feel for the car. I was disappointed that the car did not have remote start, but Ben talked it over w/ manager Sherwood, and they both made sure that this important feature was added to the package. Dealing with my insurance company and bank about the old totaled car was already super stressful, but Ben made the car buying experience at Leith Chrysler Jeep very hassle- & stress-free. Just 3 days after the accident I was able to get another car. Many thanks Ben! I would highly recommend him. Laura was wonderful too! The car had a small dent in a door, and bumper for which Laura seamlessly facilitated all repairs. Laura thoroughly documented my concerns & kept me updated on the repairs. Thanks Laura! There was only one con/Negative (not related to the actual car). I was expecting a nicely washed, waxed, and detailed car. When I was given the car & keys, I was severely disappointed. The car was still dirty, and did not feel NEW or have that exciting "new car smell". I could tell that the detail job was non-existent, but sent through a quick wash.
