Dr. Shawaf and his staff are excellent! I needed a new dentist after mine retired during the covid shutdown. I tried a large dental office near my office but the waiting room was packed to capacity with long wait times so I left. After asking around, I was referred to Dr. Shawaf by a friend. I was the only person in his waiting room because he doesn't over schedule his patients and he saw me immediately after completing my paperwork. There was no wait time because he spreads out his appointments and takes his time with us. He and his staff are very friendly and treat us like family. My Personal Hero, "Dr. Leith Shawaf" Dr. Shawaf kindly accommodated me on his lunch break to repair a cracked tooth that I was desperately trying to save. Unfortunately, I do need a implant but his heroic measures will buy me some time. When arriving to his office I was greeted by the family dog and his very kind wife. The initial paperwork was short and quick to fill out which was a nice surprise. I immediately felt relaxed. He personally sat we right away into the dental chair followed by a warm reassurance of competence where I became putty in his hands not even needing any Novocain for the repair. He is a second generation dentist following his mother so I knew his wonderful bedside manner was accompanied with years of experience. His innate skill showed immediately with his creative solution to temporize the tooth. He not only creatively drilled grooves into the remaining tooth structure so the bonding would hold but he shortened the cusp so it would not hit other teeth when biting down. Proof of a skilled and seasoned dentist. Thank you doctor for taking such good care of me. I definitely would recommend him for any dental needs. Plus, he even works on some Saturday's which is a big plus when other offices are closed. read more

I stumbled upon Dr. Shawaf accidentally. I left my previous dentist, because I just didn't care for the energy in her office. I actually meant to pick another dentist when I left her, but somehow my insurance company mistakenly assigned me to Dr Shawaf. By the time I had my dental records sent over and scheduled my first appointment with him, it seemed like a bigger pain in the ass to change dentists again. I headed out for my my first cleaning last week and was greeted by a very warm office manager (the same woman I had been dealing with on the phone setting up my appointment) and she couldn't have been more lovely: friendly, professional and efficient. Dr Shawaf introduced himself to me as I was signing in and asked who referred me, because "they like to thank whoever did the referral." We was equally warm and friendly -- a stark contrast to my previous dentist. The hygienist took me back right at my scheduled time and did a thorough job in almost 1/2 the time as my previous hygienist. In fact, I was surprised when she was done, because I was so used to having to sit for such a long time. After that, Dr Shawaf did a basic checkup and told me a couple of things we should keep an eye on. My previous dentist always made me feel like I was on the edge of needing major dental work. It actually makes me wonder if I truly needed the two crowns she did a couple of years ago. Until now, I always thought "why wouldn't you trust your dentist?" Dr Shawaf and all of his employees were fantastic. The office was clean and I had no issues parking. Really glad I stumbled onto his office and would recommend him to any of my friends. read more

Dr. Leith Shawaf is a dentist that takes great care of his patients. I recently switched to Dr. Shawaf after about 20 years with my previous dentist. He immediately noticed I needed some bonding on a tooth that my previous dentist never told me about. He is also replacing my retainer that was cracked with a new and improved version. I was referred to Dr. Shawaf in the early 90s by a co-worker. I used to call him the boy doctor he was so young at the time. I had some serious Dental issues including a cap in the front of my mouth that I was holding in place with silver gum wrapper paper. He and I still laugh about that today. The first thing he did for me was put a 3 tooth permanent Bridge in the front of my mouth which has served me well especially, since after my retirement I've become an actor. Over the last 25 years I've developed a friendship with my dentist, his wife and his staff. I've referred other friends to doctor Shawaf, he's a great dentist and I hope I never have to go to another dentist. And as an aside he's still very young. read more

I have been going to Dr. Shawaf for years. He is the absolute best. He is thorough and thoughtful and you always feel like he's taking care of you and making sure your mouth stays healthy. I had a wisdom tooth pulled recently and it was a complicated one, but Dr. S led me through the process, made me feel confident, and was able to make it easier than it seemed it was going to be. His team is also fantastic, Erica and Jen are great and the office is run with friendly efficiency by Claire. I was a patient of Dr. Shawaf since I was a kid. I was frequently in his office because I had so many cavities because I loved candy too much. As an adult I moved around and had to get crowns. I'm on my 5th crown from 5 different dentist. I went back to Dr. Shawaf because I needed a crown, he knew I was traveling so he came up with a temporary solution that should have lasted a couple of months but the temporary bond was so good I was able to hold off on a crown for about 10 years on that tooth. My last dentist who did a crown, couldn't believe how well the bond held the tooth intact for that long. Dr. Shawaf was conservative in his treatment plan, but also took into account my concerns and out of pocket cost. I appreciate his honesty and that he doesn't try to up sale you. I enjoy that he gets creative to meet his patients needs and he's so layback and personable. The office has always had a relaxing family vibe. Now that I can compare, his office doesn't feel stale like dental offices often do. What I like the most is that I've always felt like his office does everything they can to accommodate you and make you feel comfortable. read more

He is compassionate and understanding, communicates clearly, and is patient with his patients.
