What a cute new coffee shop! I had no idea this place was here, but luckily a friend recommended it so I made my way over for an afternoon study sesh. The interiors are very bright and minimalistic, but with comfortable furniture, and there's plenty of room (not crowded in the least, which is rare for coffee shops). It's chill, quiet, and has a great studying atmosphere. Aside from that, the coffee was great. Definitely priced as you'd expect for a small, upscale coffee shop, but I can't complain about my dark chocolate mocha. They also source their pastries for sale from a local baker that used to provide baked goods for Michael Symon's restaurants, so there's plenty of delicious pastry offerings as well. I have been going to this shop for years. Recently I was doing work and a lady (red hair & glasses) working there came up to me in a very impolite manner. I had brought coffee into lekko on with no ill intent. The lady working there came up to me with no proper greeting demanding that i order food, and to not bring coffee from other shops which is understandable. I felt that the situation could have been addressed without her being rude. I understand she is doing her job, but there is an away to address a situation for her forsake. She was extremely rude and not welcoming at all. I was working diligently and got interrupted. She could have addressed this matter as I was leaving not in front of a crowd, and could have had some consideration. read more

Lekko is a cute coffee shop in Ohio City (near downtown CLE). Very welcoming and has a local feel to it. If you enjoy a quieter coffee shop and want to get some work done, come early. They play soft music, but as it gets later in the day and busier....it naturally gets louder with the chatter of people and coffee/espresso machines. Even in a "quiet corner" where many are working on laptops, people don't get it and talk really loud. Why not sit in the other room where you can chat your brains out?? So definitely bring headphones! You'll also hear the occasional sound of baristas banging things pretty loud and the coffee grinder. They offer lattes $5 (good option and not overly sweet). The matcha latte is a bit pricey at $6. The pour over comes in a cute tea pot. The tea comes in a cute little pot that they can refill with water as you wish. Tea options include earl grey, oolong, green, or herbal. Baked goods are brought in fresh daily ranging from scones, cookies, to breads, and pop tarts with prices between $4-$5. If you plan to stay longer, you can order a breakfast wrap (vegetarian option also available) for $8. The burritos are outsourced from Red Finch. They are ready made, but they will heat them in a panini press. Oat milk option available for drinks. No vegan desserts. Free wifi and ample seating with tables good for 2, 4, or larger and two sofas. Restrooms also available. Look for street parking or there is a lot to park in around the corner. Huge shout out to the owner! I stooped by on Christmas eve to pick up some goodies from Shelby/Sweet Costo and wanted to support this local business. The line was long and the owner was busting his arse. He gave all of his employees the day off for the holiday and apparently everyone still wanted coffee out that day. He has such a great system for making drinks and while the line was long I really didn't wait too much. I went for simplicity by ordering two drip coffees. The quality of the coffee is top-notch. This coffee shop is on my list to stop back at and try a specialty coffee and buy some beans. This cute shop is a great addition to the neighborhood. read more

Came here as there was a lot of hype surrounding this coffee shop and was mildly disappointed. For the plus side, the shop is quite large with a selection of seating so it never felt cramped while we were there and there were plenty of outlets available but that's where the positives stop. The drinks were quite watered down with barely any flavor which was very disappointing. The barista that served me was rather judgmental and chose to serve a couple before me even though she saw I had already been waiting. Amazing coffee shop right on the city's edge. The coffee is great and the overall aesthetic of the place is insane. Its a really peaceful place to get some work done and the workers are really friendly. Karen(my wife) and I stopped in the first day of our work trip and ended up coming back every day we were here. We do not live close to Lekko coffee, but love great tasting coffee. We ordered and had it delivered to our home, so we are able to enjoy it everyday. Do not hesitate to order this coffee, it is delivered quickly within days of your order. The coffee is rich in flavor but not overpowering. Not sure how to describe it, but the coffee has a "clean" kind of pure feeling to it. I don't know if that is because of the beans or how it is roasted, it is just darn good coffee. read more
