Holy fn crap. The waitress placed us at a table that would measure an 8.5 in earthquake seismic measurements and would bring a building to its knees.So when they put coffee on my table...it crashed. All over my clothes, legs, flip flops & phone. Glad I didn't have my dope Nikes on or my laptop else. Kept a smile on my face and paid for average food. How do you not accept fault and compensate the victim? Be careful my foody brothers and sisters.
The cutest little place. The servings were huge and the food was fantastic! Loved the energy of the staff and how nice they were. I got the french toast which was massive, but so sweet and delicious. All of the portions were well worth the price. Would definitely recommend for a cute breakfast/brunch vibe.
I was in Puerto Rico for the bad bunny concert and stumbled upon this place. It is cute cozy and the food is solid.
Lela's is the definition of great service and outstanding food. It was easily the best breakfast we had in Puerto Rico--everything was cooked to perfection. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Our server and the entire team were attentive, friendly, and focused on making sure we had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous for the price. If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast spot with excellent service and reasonable prices, Lela's is a must-visit.
I was waiting for a place worthy of 5 stars for my 500th review.Excellent choice for the last meal in PR. Lots of Brunch options. Wonderful service. Graceful staff. Friendly, vibrant and lovely. We ordered 2 yogurts with fruit. 1 eggs your way plus a side of bacon and 1 chorizo eggs. Everything was well prepared. Fresh and tasty. Remarkably, it was what I didn't order that held my heart. The bread with guava spread. OMG insanely delicious. They have a house hot sauce to die for as I've recently realized I am quite the hotsauce fiend. I simply have to have it. Theirs was avocado cilantro based and I was fascinated. Our waitress was simply the sweetest lady. Accommodating and kind being that we walked in before departure with 6 bags on us. She sat us at the longest bench and we fit comfortably between the bench, bags and chairs. The passionfruit drink was so good and natural tasting, real seeds inside. I loved this place. Would definitely recommend if in the area. Reasonable pricing too. They also have outside seating. Esthetically pleasing diner and very clean as well.
Amazing food and drinks! The wait times were often long, especially for drinks, but we were in no rush. It's so hard to find restaurants with Turkish eggs and these were perfect. each of us was so pleased with what we ordered. The restaurant is quite small so you are crammed a bit in. Staff is incredibly nice and attentive, just has some longer wait time. Would definitely recommend and we will be back before our trip is over.
Great little brunch spot in Ocean Park right next to Loiza Street Station. Open air seating for larger groups. Service is welcoming and fast. Prices reasonable and menu varied. Coffee was good, from cappuccino to mocha, plus a booze menu. We actually split a huge Monte Cristo sandwich, that was sliced and stacked. Though they seemed to have made French toast, then put the sandwich together rather than dip it in egg and fry it. Cheese was not fully melted and sides were open. Also it's usually dusted in powdered sugar and served with a side of fruit or potatoes. They also had their own branded avocado hot sauce which was tasty. Great for people watching!
You can eat outside or inside. They get you seated very quickly. Maybe a little bit more expensive but worth it! The servers are very good at what they do and always are hustling. The place is clean and the coffee is great. We ate there 2 times in 6 days.

Super cool brunch spot in Puerto Rico! The food was delish and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed it, they ended up playing live music in the afternoon so it was a vibe, I would def come back.
Firstly, the staff here is so friendly! The decor is good and the food is even better. Everything tasted fresh and everyone at the table ordered something different and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. I personally ordered the VICTORIA'S EGGS BENEDICT and it was heavenly. The table got the FRENCH TOAST GUAYABA-QUESO to share and we had no words, literally. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend coming here and my friends and I are 100% coming back. Also, not sure if this is still a thing because it's been a while since we've been here, but they used to have bottomless mimosas on Weds and Fri!
This was the PERFECT birthday treat! Shoutout to Chris, our waiter, for his excellent service and recommendations. We started off the morning with lattes and coffee and both were brewed well! For starters, we tried the Amarillo y chorizo homemade croquetts and honey, these are to die for! Main dish: I ordered the guava-cheese French toast and my boyfriend ordered the Jimmy churrasco and eggs. Listen well, the portions are HUGE! My French toast immediately filled me up after a few bites and I had to tap out. The flavors added to this French toast, makes it one of the best I've ever had! And yes, you're able to taste the fresh guava and cream cheese in each bite! Omg, I'm excited just thinking back. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his dish and like me, he had leftovers. We concluded the meal both stuffed yet satisfied! A true description of how amazing this food is and how likely you are to enjoy your dish! I highly recommend this place to anyone.
I found this place on the Yelp app where we were staying nearby and the options/ menu looked wonderful so we decided to give it a try. This restaurant is very popular. We had to wait about 25 minutes before we seated. The food is fresh and the service is terrific. The menu is moderately priced. I must add that they have homemade guava butter and it was so delicious. I've never had that before. You must try it unfortunately they don't sell it. My husband and I liked it so much. We went back the next week.

Lela's was absolutely great for brunch! The passionfruit mimosa was absolutely phenomenal, and the turkish eggs were to die for and I would go back for them. The patio was so nice to sit on with the beautiful weather, and it was such a great location to go down to the beach after! read more

Super cute place. Very cozy inside and they offer outdoor seating as well. Try the freshly squeezed OJ. Oh and they offer mimosas! Can't go wrong. I ordered the oatmeal with fruit and granola which is one of the best oatmeals I've ever had. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious. Big portions. The service was excellent. We were greeted right away and given a paper menu (most places we visited you have to scan the QR code). Oh and they offer free parking. read more

This is a great breakfast spot. Outside seating was shaded and comfortable. My group tried many dishes, avocado toast, Dulce leche pancakes, Monte Christo and açaí bowl. I had the apple pie French toast. All were very happy with their food. Definitely a nice spot. read more

A great brunch! Did take a while to go get our food and drinks but the friendliness of the staff made the wait was worth it at the end. I was suggested to try a drink that was infused with Lucky charms, and it was delicious! The place is super nice and great for pictures read more

We ordered the chicken and waffles and the avocado toast. The waffles were flimsy with no crust also it comes with potatoes that had literally no salt on them, the chicken itself was decent. The avocado on the toast was watery and tasteless which ruined it. Also our bill came out to 62$ for two people after the tip. The food comes out looking really pretty but it doesn't taste good, I do not recommend. read more

Amazing! Went here twice on my 5 day vacation in Puerto Rico! I got the mango salmon on my first visit and it was DELICIOUS! On my second visit I had the Chicken Wings, and they were incredible! Our server gave me a sweet and sour chili sauce that made it that much better! The mimosas were also so good as well! read more
Lela's Eatery is a solid vegetables-heavy or healthy eating restaurant in the happening Calle Loiza! Everything we had here was really good. The star of our lunch had to be the Sechwan Cauliflower!! Who needs chicken when you can make vegetables that good! The sauce and the batter were amazing. Our second favorite was the fish tacos! The mango habanero relish in the tacos were so flavorful. I also had the green salad, the salmon was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the are and want a little bit of clean eating!! It has a nice indoor and outdoor seating as well. They also provide wi-fi! Great restaurant addition to San Juan restaurant scene. read more

This place is a vibe aesthetically! Great design outside and located right on a corner hotspot. The food is pretty good? I had the apple French toast and a side of scrambled eggs. The French toast was solid. Super fluffy and the apples were perfect! The eggs were pretty bad though. The caramel latte was one for the books though! Highly recommend! It wasn't busy at all so I walked in and was sat right away. Overall, definitely worth a try because their menu is pretty big. Will I go back? Probably not. read more

I went here to get some work done one afternoon and sat at the bar. I had the Keto Bowl with chicken and it was incredible. I still think about it. Everything was so fresh and carefully prepared. The coffee was delicious as well. I went back for brunch with a friend a few days later and ordered avocado toast and the tofu scramble. The avocado toast was delicious. I didn't like the tofu scramble much. Staff was welcoming and kind. Vibes were enjoyable. read more

My coffee deprived self stepped into this sunny, perfectly appointed eatery on a Sunday morning for brunch. 5 stars hands down a perfect way to start my day and trip to PR. Service, impeccable and so amazing. Food.. chefs kiss, perfect cooked, perfectly seasoned. I know will be making arugula potatoes every time I make eggs at home. Must go! Ended up here by accident after the place across the street was so rude to us that we left. Looking around for other options, we spotted this treasure. The entrance is through a beautiful shady patio. Once you enter you will find a little bar and a small very welcoming, clean, white restaurant with a beachy feel to it. We were asked to please be patient because they were understaffed. However, we were seated quickly. After trying to tackle the scan menu, which my phone apparently does not appreciate, we were given actual menues... thank you. we wanted to try the tamarind juice, but were a little hesitant. The server brought us a shot glass of the juice to try. How sweet... and no we didn't like it. The latte I ordered on the other hand was one of the best I ever had. Heck this whole island has great coffee. Trying to experience things we cannot get at home, we ordered the Mallorca. This is a sweet bread usually eaten with butter. It is served fried and was topped with powdered sugar. Looks 'normal', but man the taste is phenomenal. Not overly sweet, nice and buttery with a very distinct taste, which I cannot describe. You just gotta try this. It is also available with ham and cheese, but I can't quite imagine that. I decided on the grains of the day. Turned out to be Avena, which kind of resembled mushy oatmeal. I had ordered the fruit and granola also. The grains had a little sweetness to them and with the fresh fruit and granola were delicious and satisfying. My daughter went with the Fefi's chicken and waffles. Nicely fried chicken with a spicy maple sauce, which was delicious with the chicken as well as the waffles. Strangely enough the star of this dish were the sauteed potatoes. No idea what they did to these potatoes, but I could have eaten a bucket of those. I highly recommend this place. The service may be a bit slow (understaffed) but super friendly and accommodating. Very clean and nicely decorated, which includes the bathroom. Servings are generous and the prices very reasonable. read more

The service was excellent. The menu has options to appease all from healthy to decadent. They even had oat and almond milk available for the coffee. Highly recommend the French toast. Seating is available both inside and outside with greenery and florals surrounding. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. read more

Updated review. Went back to this place for breakfast and had the açaí bowl (with everything) and the avo toast. They were both so delicious!! I find that avocado toasts usually taste pretty similar, but this one has a nice limey flavor to it. The açaí bowl has bananas (which were the perfect ripeness), peanut butter, Nutella, blueberries, chia seeds, and granola. The presentation of the food is great and the service was good. Highly recommend this place for a healthy-ish breakfast! read more

Stopped at this cute little place for breakfast on our way to the beach. The location is great and the outdoor seating area is adorable. Server was great! Super nice and gave recommendations when asked. Got the chicken and waffles and eggs benny. The eggs benny was average, the chicken and waffles was very good! The potatoes were cooked perfect and the sauce that came with them was also fantastic! Things were priced on the higher end but not out of the ordinary for this area. This was a very cute brunch spot that was highly recommended to us by our host. The decor was very cute and modern. The service was quick. We had our orders taken promptly and the food came out not even 15 minutes later, which is a much better wait time than other places that we dined at while in San Juan. our waitress was also very friendly and answered any questions that we had. The guava and cheese French toast was the star of the show and it was delicious. It is on the sweeter side so if you're not a huge sugar fan, tread carefully. The breakfast sandwich was also really good and quite filling. The only item that we ordered that was less than thrilling was the eggs Benedict (not pictured). You were up-charged for adding protein and the eggs were quite small on some small English muffins. The food was on the pricier side, especially the eggs Benedict for something that was pretty small. read more
