Overpriced and bad work. My pants split a big hole on one of the most important days of my life ...very angry and frustrated...not going to even waste my time to bring back to fix... can't take back what is already ruined... you would think he would do good job especially when you tell him how important the day is.. I have been using Lemmon Tailor a lot for about 4 years and am always really happy with my items. It's a husband and wife and they're always so nice and do a fabulous job. I recently did a closet clean out with my stylist and took in a bunch of items at once about 16 of them and Lee worked with me to make sure we got all the tailored perfectly so I could keep the items. My stylist was so impressed with their work that she now recommends them to her clients as well! I also love the text communication that Lee lets me know when my items are ready sometimes sooner than he quotes at first so I can swing by and grab them. I cannot recommend them enough read more

Rn run run do not use these people. Two weeks ago I had my assistant drop off a blazer and dress to be tailored.. I pinned both items before she took it to them drop off. My first complaint would be that he ruined both items. Second complaint would be that it took two weeks and on Friday the day before they were supposed to be ready he called me and told me that I had to come and pick my stuff up by 6 o'clock that day because they were going on vacation. He had my items for two weeks. He didn't know he was going on vacation, that was just rude and very inconvenient. Secondly, how much I was charged way too much again with him you have to pay before you pick up your stuff so once he ruins your clothes you're screwed out of the item. You're screwed out of the money and guess what they don't care because I literally told his wife everything I was upset about, and not one time did she apologize try to make anything right she simply said goodbye I'm out over $300 go buy two new outfits. so I have posted this here on yelp and on my social media which I have 767k followers, let this be a lesson. Everybody needs to read reviews before they turn over their clothing to any Tailor especially this one. oh yeah the owners wife said normally people are happy when we tell them, their order is ready early, I said normal cleaners don't take two weeks to hem a dress. This right here is what's wrong with America. Nobody takes pride in their work. Nobody cares about the customer and trust me without my customers I wouldn't own a business and I do take my customers extremely seriously and if they're not happy, I make it right, regardless of how much it cost to me. I found this place based off other reviews and I 100% recommended Lemmon Tailor. It's a husband wife duo who own the shop and they definitely know what they are doing. And charge reasonable prices and have a reasonable turnaround! I initially came in to have a bridesmaid dress hemmed and altered. I was given a reasonable turnaround. When I picked it up, it exactly what I had requested. When I tried it on, I decided I actually wanted to take the dress in more near the straps (not that the dress wasn't altered wrong, but I had wanted it taken in more). I figured I would take it back to ask for the additional alterations knowing the wedding was in three day. I was throughly surprised when I was told they would tailor the dress in the quick time frame!! The service I received at this tailor was unparalleled to any other tailor I've been too. Thank you Yelp for this find. Imagine me, Saturday, formal dress in need of alterations in hand, one week until event, and I was going to be out of town that week. I roll the Yelp dice and stumble upon this wonderfully warm husband and wife team. They knew exactly what to do with the high low ball gown skirt hem, despite the horsehair lining that would have flummoxed some of the less experienced. The dress was perfectly altered at the appointed time. They even sensed I would be running on a tight schedule and had it at the front for me as I rushed in. Great experience here! They turned my dress from a size 14 to a size 4 in only 3 days. The price was reasonable and much quicker turn around vs. other tailors in this area. Poor customer service. The agreed upon work was not done and owner conveniently didn't remember as the receipt didn't include work to be done. I will not be using this tailor again. He was to replace zipper and fix the hem in the leg. Zipper was completed and the hem isn't complete. I actually paid him $40 for a $27 job and learned a lesson yo wait on the work. read more

I brought a dress here for a simple alteration on a Saturday (needed it back the following Saturday). The owner said only his wife does women's clothing and wouldn't be in until Monday or Tuesday. Said he would call me on Tuesday to let me know the price. Called him on Wednesday when I didn't hear anything. He told me he'd call me back by that night. Didn't hear anything until Friday when I called them again just for him to overcharge me for what I needed done. By this point it's too late to bring anywhere else because he waited ALL week to communicate. Very frustrated with this place and will not be back. Have had several alterations made here and they are always subpar. I use this location because it's extremely close to my home and work place. After going today to get a estimate on getting some shirts tailored I was given an exuberant amount. I left the building and found that there was tailor who would perform the service 25% less. I decided to give this place a shot as I have been loyal to them despite their work. I was told in a very unprofessional manor to take my clothes to the other place. Little did the owner know that in a few weeks, I would be having alterations made for all the employees in the Dallas region of the company where I work (100's of employees). I will gladly be taking this work to the tailor who took my business today. It's all about customer service and word of mouth. read more

Went here back in June to get some paints tailored. Had a wedding I needed to go to in a few days and they were able to meet the quick turnaround time. Customer service was great and the man who took the measurements was really funny. However, it's been four months and two of the three pants that were tailored have already come apart by the ankles. If it was one pair I could understand but now the majority of my pants are unwearable. Definitely look to take your clothes elsewhere. read more

I found Lemon Tailor by the good reviews on Yelp, but was disappointed I did not have the same experience. I took this jumpsuit to Lemon Tailor for the shoulders to be taken in and a hem of the pant legs at the floor. When I went to pick it up the first time, the right leg was hemmed perfect but the left leg was about 1/2 in longer. I pointed it out to the owners and they agreed to correct the hem. When I picked it up the second time, you could see my right ankle/foot and my left foot (again not the same length). I pointed it out to the owner and he said they corrected it and did not want to fix the issue, but one of the kind employees agreed to try and fix it. This is the final result. The left leg is 1 in shorter than the right (measured from the inseam) and there is not enough material left to correct the issue with another tailor. I would not recommend this tailor and will be taking my business elsewhere next time. read more

Lemmon Tailor saved me when I was in a bind! I have an event this Saturday and the jumpsuits I ordered were long and too big in the waist. I called several tailors in the area to see if the could have alterations done in 3 days and everyone had at least a week for turn around time. I dropped off my jumpsuits right before closing on Tuesday night and they were ready Friday afternoon! I forgot her name but the lady in there was amazing. Very rude, they can hardly tailor correctly. I made over 5 trips to them to fix different problems between my two suits. This place is NEW and AMAZING. I needed a last minute alteration done and no other tailor would take the job. I would normally never wait till the last minute, but circumstances didn't allow it. Thankfully Lemmon Tailor popped up on my maps when I was close to another shop. So I called them FIFTEEN minutes before close and he still let me come in and was super nice despite this. Convenient location and the gentleman that owns the place is very kind. I took in 5 pairs of pants on a Friday afternoon, needing a rush job as I was flying out to Atlanta the next day. This place gives you the run-around. Went to go get 1 piece altered. When I got it back, I couldn't tell the difference in fit at all. It was impossible to get the problem fixed--I was told only 1 person worked there who could fix it, and they only worked 2 days out of the week.
