It was not it was the radiator and the radiator cap thank God I didn't listen to them. They also bypass the heater core and had a 45° angle on the hose not allowing water to pass through and they told me that water doesn't need to go through there which is absolutely not correct and could have blown my motor thankfully I brought it to another mechanic for mechanics in total who said they saw no sign of a blown motor and the final mechanic who fixed it for me. The owner went down and got into the space of my truck when I brought it to the first place and then they didn't want to do it anymore. Then when I contacted Rob about the situation he threatened me told me to get his lawyers and then had the police call me to tell me not to contact him anymore.

First time going to JSN…read more Bought a used Jeep and took it in for an oil change. I told them that I had just bought it, so they took it out for a short drive and gave it a once over. Told me that everything looked good and that I did well with my purchase. Talked to me and gave me a quick education about some things I needed to know and when I needed to change some of the fluids (not for many miles). My oil was overfilled by an entire quart, forcing me to have the oil change redone during a road trip in Northeast Florida. I also received my well-maintained 2022 VW Jetta back with a dead battery and check engine light. My VW app showed accessories and battery-draining functions had been left on during the 1.5-hour service. I understand the battery may have already been weak and that this may not have been caused by the shop, but the immediate blame placed on me and push to sell me a new battery was unacceptable. When I called several times with reasonable questions, I was met with rude and dismissive responses rather than empathy or accountability. I was also quoted $67 and confirmed three times that an advertised special applied. I later learned parts and labor were excluded, making the oil change around $120. While my final price was fair, customers should be aware that the advertised price can be misleading without the additional costs. Mistakes happen. The bigger issue was how they were handled. As a woman, I was also uncomfortable with conversations I overheard such as ways to add additional services for "her" and sincerely hope I misunderstood their context. This is my second attempt at posting this review. I've attached documentation supporting my experience and hope honest, critical reviews are allowed to remain.

This is a tale of two old cars I had brought to Walton's, where I have had a very mixed experience…read more Walton's first fixed my AC on old car #1, and it blew cool for several month - I do not know why not longer. I recharged it myself yesterday and it is working. They did a brake job on old car #2 that did not go well. The car suddenly locked up in a very busy intersection - turned out the shop had failed to tighten up a caliper. Walton's to their credit, on that same car, repaired the oil drain plug which had been damaged by another oil change facility very nearbye. Another shop had wanted to replace the oil pan. I then had the power steering pump fail on old car #1 and brought it back in for replacement. The day after getting it back, although it steered well enough, the car developed an intermittent 0553 engine code, which I looked up and learned this code relates to a power steering problem. When I brought the car back in to see if a sensor or wiring harness had not been re-installed correctedly, a mechanic told me the sensor failure was unrelated to the shop's work. So after 265,000 miles of working fine, this "coincidence" unrelated to their repair of the pump would cost me hundreds of dollars more to correct.That was insulting enough, but what really bothered me was this: when I went back to retrieve the car, the person at the desk, recognizing me by now, abruptly handed me the keys dismissively without a word and began talking to someone else. The code is no longer intermittent, it is always on and the serpentine belts sounds like a shrieking monster when starting the car in the morning. Summarizing, I had returned to Walton's after an AC fix that lasted only a few months, and even after a bungled brake job, that left me needing a tow at in the middle of a bad intersection. My reward however was yet another bungled job, a bizarre explanation, a failure to take responsibilty, and worst of all, contempt from the person at the desk. But I do thank Walton's for fixing the oil pan drain plug on old car #1. Looking at the 9 reviews, two are terrible and 7 are very favorable. But of those favorables, 5 are dated 2016-2019. Of the 4 newer reviews, 2 suck and 2 are fine. My negative review will tip balance to only 40% favorable among reviews dated after 2019.
