I had my car serviced nearby and stopped into Lemon Crab for lunch. It's a small restaurant with only a few tables inside. There were only two parties (including mine) at the time and the service was excellent. We arrived as soon as it opened and ordered a combo #1 with corn, potatoes, sausages, clams, shrimp, and crawfish and chicken wings w/fries. The food was great!! Not suggested for date night unless you both indulge. I suggest shrimp, but the chicken was also tasty. The House special rice is also worth exploring. It's like garlic fried rice on steroids. I am a huge fan of seafood! So when it comes to a seafood broil, I try to find good spots around the Bay Area. When this site opened up, we couldn't help but try it out since it is right next to our house. Let me tell you, this has become a hidden gem in downtown Hayward and has rank within the top 3 seafood broils spots I've been to of all times. I rank different shrimp boils based on flavor and how well they cook their shrimp. Other places have a bad tendencies to over cook their shrimp, not this place. The flavors were delicious, spice level was perfect and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend! This place has become our new go-to shrimp spot due to location and quality of food. read more

Really enjoyed the food. It was delicious and fresh. We had the cajun seafood boil with medium heat. Combo 1 is well priced and good for 2-3 people. We also added fries to the side. Our waitress was very helpful and nice, they seem to be busy with to-go orders. The place could use a bit of a clean or renovation but not a deal breaker for the food and experience. read more

My crab was on point I always get a pound Dungeness crab and a pound of easy peel shrimp and a large fountain drink and my crab comes with all of the sauces, mixed together, lemon crab mix sauce honestly my favorite place to go for seafood I prefer this over bag of crab also rock and crawfish and all those other places go try lemon crab if you haven't yet hope this helps read more

I saw this place on Yelp and wanted to try it out since it's near my house. I love Cajun seafood and was excited to see a new spot open up in Hayward. They have a fairly large parking lot which is really great and since their a new place it was empty on a Saturday night. Although it was just my group at the restaurant there were people coming in to pick up take out orders. It seems like they applied for an alcoholic drink license so they might be serving alcohol in the future. I got a pound of shrimp head off with lemon crab sauce low heat and 2 corns. The shrimp was cooked great as it was easy to peel off the shell. My group also got combo #1 with 2 lbs of shrimp and a pound of mussels. They got mild heat and it wasn't spicy at all so if you like some heat get hot or higher. The mussels were pretty good too, although a few were pretty small. Along with this we ordered the garlic noodles with beef and it was pretty good when it was fresh and warm. The passion fruit drink was good, but a bit sweet for my taste. All in all the food was good and I will be returning and recommending. The service was amazing, the staff was kind and even poured our drinks for us into a cup of ice. Throughout our meal they would avoid eye contact when we would ask for more lemons and when we finally got them, they would bring it to the wrong table. We ordered their lunch special with 2lbs of shrimp (head on), garlic noodles, beef burgers, calamari and garlic fries. Everything was delicious! I wish I took pictures but the food was way too good to stop eating even for a moment to take a photo. Their garlic noodles were the best I've ever had and I was very impressed with their burgers. The food was ok for my taste. I got the lobster roll and was excited to see it comes with 2 rolls. The meat had a few shell pieces in the roll when I ate it. Not too bad but the roll itself was just ok. We also got a combo with the mix flavor and I liked we could get 3 protein options. The flavor wasn't giving. Tasted a little "watered down". There was heat but couldn't taste the garlic or lemon or the Cajun flavors. The Cajun garlic fries had more seasoning. Which the fries didn't have garlic. Not sure if they used garlic salt to season the fries. The service was quick. When I ordered food, I got an estimate it'll take 20min. To my surprise it was done 8 minutes later and ready for pick up. When I went to pick up the food there was plenty of parking. The place inside was actually small. A few tables for eating in. Unless there were more tables in the back that I didn't see. I'm not sure I will come back to this location. My overall view of the place is just ok. It's not bad but it's not great either. You get quantity for your money but the quality is a little lackluster. There are other seafood spots and seafood boils in the Bay Area that have better quality of food. read more
