Ambiance: the decor and overall vibe is kinda sad. The place does not look inviting at all. From the outside you would totally miss it, nothing grabbing the attention. And if you still manage to walk in, it's just meh. You are welcomed by this sad looking bar (if you can call it that, some people have home bars that look more enticing). There was only one table occupied and the layout, walls covered with TVs is all a sad scene. With buffalo wild wings right nearby, people interested in watching sports would probably just go there. The owners need to narrow down on what this place is trying to be. Food: we ordered chilli paneer and peanut masala- both were really good. We also got tangerine wheat beer which was good too. Alright ladies and gentlemen, this place claims to have the best indian food in Union City. And I'll be damned because it definitely is. I was very critical and did not expect much because I like the original pour house menu but damnnn the food is so flavorful here. We ordered the garlic shrimp (asked for spicy), andhara chicken, and fish 65. I ordered the fish 65 after I licked the plate with the first two dishes. The chef in the back knows what up. Every dish was spot on and full of flavor. The owner and staff are also very nice. They had all the TVs on and current hindi songs were playing it was a very nice vibe for an early Friday dinner. I was in a food comma by the time I was done. There were no left overs. Let me talk about each dish now: Garlic shrimp: great flavored shrimp Over a bed of veggies with chillies. Was my favorite dish. The chicken with gravy was also good. Fish 65 with the green chutney: soooo crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I gobbled all the pieces and dipped them in the green chutney sauce which was equally flavorful. I appreciated the lemon and fresh onion garnishment that balanced the dish. I was trying to avoid oily food but I had to try this dish since the other two dishes were spot on with flavor. You could not see any extra oils on the food. All in all 10/10 for all 3 dishes and I strongly recommend this place if you are craving indian food in Union City. They serve liquor and have the same beer taps as before. They dont have dessert but have no fear Krispy Kreme is close by. Walk there for fresh donuts for a sweet warm fluffy dessert. I had a great Friday dinner experience. Props to the chef and owner for opening a delicious new indian food spot. My only advice would be to add more indo/fusion snacks to enjoy with drinks. We opted for the Mai Tai from Alvarado St. Brewing co. And at first pour a lot of head came out.. when it finally settled there were little things floating in it... This review is for a pickup order, and only covers the food. Chicken tikka masala: Good portion for the price, and comes with jeera rice. Unfortunately, it was filled with some of the driest chicken I've ever tasted. It was honestly inedible, and I started having to separate out the chicken so I could dispose of it. This was made even worse by the fact that the tikka masala sauce was also not very good. It was strangely bland and a little bit sweet. This is a definite skip. Garlic naan: Good portion for the price, but also bland. Chicken biryani: They used battered chicken, which was an odd choice. The flavor was fine, but still lacked a flavorful punch. I specifically ordered the garlic noodle dish which literally tasted like Alfredo sauce over pasta. When I flagged an employee down to ask, they told me they make their sauce "in house" and I told them this is literally Alfredo sauce. How is this garlic noodles? I was upset and told them to remove the garlic noodles off the bill and to take the plate from me. We still ended up paying $200 for this meal, sadly and went home disappointed. Came here on a week day during the evening and it was empty (which is fine/makes sense). My friend and I came only for the beers. It's a self serve type of concept. You'll get a wristband and you can go up to one of the beer stalls, tap your wristband, then pour as much beer as you like. A lot of the beers were out of service. I got a sour beer and it was fine. It's been a few years since we ate at Pacific Pour House. Since then, they must have changed ownership because gone are the bracelets for self-pouring beer and their large eclectic menu is now all Indian food. We were there with our group of 6 for about 2 hours on a Friday night and they didn't get busy at all. We stared with the Gobi Manchurian and Chicken Chilli. Both solid appetizers. Medium spicy is not for the faint of heart. For our main entrees we got the butter chicken, goat biryani, garlic shrimp, paneer tikka masala and lots of garlic naan. I think I ate 5 pieces of naan by myself. Their naan is delicious. I also really loved the butter chicken but the goat biryani had too many small bone fragments to be enjoyable. I would recommend that they don't chop up the goat to smithereens. Customer Service was friendly and you could tell they really aimed to please. Since I am not the biggest Indian food fan, this will probably meet my Indian food quota for the year. read more

I went with my close group of friends last night! Was completely blown away with the service and food was finger licking delicious. Each appetizer from chili paneer, onion pakora was exceptionally crispy and not oily full of flavor, gobi Manchurian was perfectly spiced and crispy, saucy, Garlic Shrimp was succulent and packed with flavor. Main course was equally mind blowing. I was not have any alcohol but ordered a non alcoholic margarita and it was very tasty and refreshing. At the end of night we left with no room in our tummy and nothing leftover to go... clean plates. I stopped by the PPH just before a movie for some lunch. It wasn't very crowded on a Saturday (2 p.m.). We were seated immediately. The restaurant is nice. Fairly modern decor and a small bar. Plenty of seating. Great for a group. They have three TVs. This might be a good spot to watch sports. They do specialize in draft beer. They have an entire wall full of self-serve taps. Each tap is different, and there are roughly 20. I'm not sure of the price or how it works. I assume it's all you can drink. The gentleman who greeted us wanted to give us wristbands. A lot of the beers did sound tasty. We just didn't have time for that. It would have been nice had they had a bottled beer or two just in case you can't drink the draft. They do have what seemed to be a full bar. We ordered:  Hangover Burger--it was good. The burger was cooked well. Nice sunny side up egg, some mushrooms, cheese, and bacon. I wanted to add the Bison Patty, but it was an upcharge, and the burger was quoted at $30.00 by our waitress. Shrimp Creamy Pesto Pasta with Shrimp--this was tasty. The pasta was cooked well. There was plenty of sauce, and the sauce had flavor. All in all, it was a good dish.  This place is a nice spot to grab a bite, but IMO it was a bit pricey. This is why I'm not 4-5 staring the restaurant. Granted, the food is good and the service by our waitress was excellent, but quoting me $30.00 for a burger seems like a lot. The regular hangover burger without the Bison Patty was 20.95, but they wanted to charge me 30.00 to add it to mine when the Bison Burger on the menu was only 25.00. It didn't make sense, so I declined.  It's pricey but good, so I would definitely go back, especially to try the beer and add more stars! read more

Very nice cute place! We came here on a Tuesday for lunch. I can imagine this place can get crowded later on the day or evening. They have a whole wall filled of beer tap. I came in with my parents to grab an early dinner. The service was pretty friendly, but the garlic noodles I ordered was an absolute fail. I guess I didn't get the same garlic noodles as everyone else has been raving about. The noodles were kind of warm, but the shrimp/crab were hot on top. The flavor was like the sauce was made without any seasoning and definitely didn't have any garlic flavor. It was just cooked cream. I asked for salt and pepper and I was given shakers with a warning that "they're a little sticky." So in my head they're dirty, but no one cares to clean them? I asked for Parmesan cheese and I was given shreds. Looked like they came straight out of the Kraft bag. And might I the food was not hot enough to even begin to melt them down. When the waitress came to check on us, I told her about my food. She offered to take it back. I accepted, but I didn't order anything else.
