Lemons Falls is a cute little eatery in downtown Chagrin Falls. It is located on a corner. With construction right now it is a little harder to access from one side of downtown. There is a closed sidewalk. They have a nice seating area both outside and in. Seating is somewhat limited inside. They take counter orders and bring you food to the table. Lemon Falls has award winning pastry from the county fair. They also have a large menu. We ordered the vegan soup, lobster roll and short rib sandwich. The lobster roll was market price and was very heavy on the lettuce. The short rib sandwich was delicious and the soup was very good as well. The staff were friendly and helpful.

After run club today we were looking for a breakfast place. We lucked into lemon falls. What very cool cozy small town type of feel cafe! I got espresso and a fried egg sandwich. Both very good. It has breakfast and lunch options. With various Togo take out options too. Also fun fact they won first place for their blueberry muffin in the Geagua county fair! Enjoyed this place! If ever in Chagrin stop in!

One of my favorite places to go when I'm in town from California. Fresh amazing food! My daughter loves to grab a big ole bag of angel hair pasta to cook at home. An 80 year old Italian lady makes it by hand! Even the Brussels sprouts are to die for. Yes, that's a picture of my 9 year old eating Brussels sprouts immediately after we got home. The scones are our fav, and so is the egg salad sandwich and if you're lucky enough for breakfast, the egg with prosciutto on top. Excellent job! I read the negative reviews, and they basically sound like an employee was having a rough day, and someone not understand that free samples don't mean take as many as you want. I've never encountered anything but wonderful people and even a server forgot a cinnamon roll, they apologized profusely and fixed it.

Disappointing experience. I won't be returning. I really wanted to like Lemon Falls, especially given the charming location in Chagrin Falls, but unfortunately the experience was very underwhelming. Too bad because I was really looking forward to lunch. The service is the main reason for which I won't return. I ordered dine in order at the cafe - chicken tarragon sandwich, Americano, and chicken noodle soup. I was served Americano and my soup. I sat and waited for my sandwich for at least 30 minutes. I observed that some tables were getting second and third food deliveries to their tables. When everyone in the dining area who arrived after me received their order, I went to the counter to inquire about my order. The cafe only has only 5 tiny tables so I was surprised that I was overlooked. I was told that a refund will be issued because my order must have been lost. The manager (I assume he was because everyone was asking him questions) was standing right next to the counter and there was no reaction from him at all. I was quite surprised that another order could not be made. I just haven't seen any cafe handle an order and an experience so poorly. I was very much looking forward to lunch and trying a new place, it was a very sad, inattentive, and strange experience. In terms of food, the menu is pretty extensive with breakfast, lunch, and coffee options. Cases are also filled with various goodies if you don't wish to order from the menu. The menu is almost an exact replica of Stone Oven bakery menu. Here's the comments about the food that I've tried. I had to agree to an Americano because there was no regular coffee or pour over or anything similar. That was ok. Americano was very diluted and bland, not something that I'd expect from a coffee shop. The staff kept proudly saying to the guests that everything is homemade, but the chicken noodle soup wasn't. The base of it tasted like over salted Knorr mix where someone added some chicken pieces. It was not a well proportioned Knorr base, it tasted completely artificial. I appreciated the chicken pieces but the rest of it was not good. Potentially other items on the menu are better. The ambiance felt cramped and noisy - definitely not the relaxing café vibe I was expecting. Although the cafe combines a small market, bakery, and coffee shop into one. I sat a table that was right by the door where everyone seemed to arrive within inches of me. It was awkward. With so many great spots in Chagrin Falls, I'd recommend skipping this one. Hopefully they can turn things around, but for now, it's a pass from me.

Get a gift card here for that friend who's hard to buy for. He/she will appreciate it. This is a lovely cafe to visit in or carry out coffee, breakfast pastries, sandwiches and dinner entrees. Sauces, coffees, condiments, etc., are for sale. Lunches and pastries are homemade and everything is fresh and delicious. Ask for GF or vegan choices. I had a slice of lemon pound cake, and it was real lemony and wonderful! My friend really liked the Mighty Leaf brand of hot tea. There are a few tables. Conveniently located you may find a spot to park on the property or nearby on the streets. You'll love this darling cafe.

Cute place. Nice variety of sandwiches, fresh chili etc. Ordered the lobster roll! I enjoyed it! Would I try it again. Not so sure. Enjoyed the coffee. There was a book on the table which I want to find and buy. Yes quite the nice atmosphere. Great place to hang out, visit and eat.

Delicious spot right in the heart of Chagrin Falls! The outside of Lemon Falls has a small town restaurant feel & the inside welcomes you with amazing smells. We ordered the lobster roll and then the short rib sandwich - talk about amazing!! The short rib sandwich melted in my mouth. My boyfriend loved his lobster roll and said it was very filling. We sat at the little tables they have available outside. Only downside was parking- we had to find a spot a couple blocks down, but we were able to discover other great spots to stop in on the way back to the car.

Stopped by Lemon Falls after we already had a big breakfast, and got a lobster roll. The price was a bit high ($26), but it was tasty. The bun was potato bread (I think), and that's what made it sooo good. It was warmly toasted, slightly sweet, and really soft. They give you a lot of lobster for the price, and also a lot of lettuce which is a new for me. It was more like a lobster version of a chicken salad sandwich, but hey, it was good. The pickled cucumbers in the side were also amazing. Service here was 10/10. Girl at the cashier was super nice.

"Compliment" from the business owner. I didn't appreciate it and feel they may have been intoxicated based on grammar and time sent.

So she chose the Christmas lights of Chagrin Falls and "Odd Fellows Restaurant" which looks out on the Gazebo and all the lights of the square. We arrived at the restaurant and immediately were seated at a comfortable table in the center of the room by a very professional young woman. Very shortly after, the sweetest, most bubbly young lady greeted us and introduced herself as Bianca, our server for the evening. I can't say enough about Bianca. She was absolutely extraordinary. Friendly is an understatement. She had a beautiful smile that never left her face. She was so personable you could not help but feel comfortable in her care for the evening. Throughout the 2+ hours we were in her hands she just kept getting more impressive. If you decide to give "Odd Fellows" a try you would be doing yourself a great service by requesting her as your server for the evening when you make your reservation. Our initial order included refreshing drinks from the bar along with great crusty bread and excellent "Roasted red pepper soup". Very nicely done. We followed that with our entrees. I ordered the "Sesame Tuna" which was very nicely prepared. My wife and sister-in-law had the "Walleye" and they loved it. My brother enjoyed the "Shrimp Bucatini". I must say the kitchen did an exemplary job all evening... Kudos to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with excellent coffee and very nicely presented desserts. A marvelous finish to a marvelous evening at "Odd Fellows". I give them my highest recommendation and encourage you to give them a try. Don't forget to request Bianca -- she is the cherry on top.

Started off with bread that came with a great garlic butter. Wish the bread had come out warm but it was good. I had a Caesar salad with shrimp for dinner which was great, filling but still light and the shrimp were fantastic, nice and big and very flavorful. We also ordered Brussels sprouts, fries and "onion rings" for the table. The Brussels were fantastic, probably my best bite of the night. I also really loved the fries, they had the perfect amount of salt which I always appreciate. The onions rings were very good, but I would call them more of onion straws so just be sure you know what you're getting if you grab those. Others at my table enjoyed the burger a lot, as well as the shrimp pasta. A lovely holiday experience overall!

Well, since I love everything Lola's has done thus far, my wife and I had to try breakfast. It was a drizzling, chilly morning in Chagrin Falls, and I questioned whether we had chosen the wrong day. A bright, sunny morning would have been much more enticing. But we went anyway. I figured if they could impress on a morning like this, how much more wonderful would it be on a beautiful morning. We arrived to the restaurant and found only a handful of people were as adventurous as we. One of the owners greeted us upon entry and directed us to a single young lady behind the bar where we could review the menu and place our order. Then we could choose any table to our liking. Shortly thereafter the bubbly young lady arrived with our cappuccinos and water. A few minutes later my warm, chocolate croissant arrived along with my wife's omelette. As always, the food and beverages were excellent. The service was great. And, by the way, the selection of background music was perfect! Lola's has done it again. I will simply repeat myself and tell you, you must go. I highly, highly recommend.

Per our request, our party of six was seated on the outdoor patio overlooking the Chagrin River waterfall, which made for a beautiful setting. One thing to note: you cannot reserve patio seating in advance, but you can request it upon arrival if space is available. We started with four appetizers: *Heavenly Biscuits - AMAZING. *Short Rib Potstickers - Excellent. *Spinach Artichoke Dip - Excellent. *Grilled Artichoke - Good, but not really my style of dish. For entrées, we tried several different items: *Grilled Fish of the Day (Grouper) - Excellent, although the portion was on the smaller side. *Lake Erie Walleye Fish & Chips - Very good. *Thai Steak Noodle Salad - Excellent. *Steak and Frites - Excellent. We also ordered two sides: *Coleslaw - Very good. Is it the best coleslaw I've ever had? No. Is it excellent and worth ordering? Absolutely. *Roasted Baby Yukons - Excellent. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant graciously provided a complimentary dessert sundae. While the gesture was appreciated, I do wish guests were given a choice of dessert. The sundae was fine, but with several outstanding ice cream shops nearby, the ice cream itself was fairly average. Service was quick and efficient overall. There were a few minor areas for improvement: Wet naps would have been appreciated, as we had to request extra napkins multiple times throughout the meal. Service slowed down a bit during the dinner rush. The steak entrée arrived noticeably later than the rest of the main courses, which may have been due to the kitchen being overwhelmed. It also took a little longer than expected to receive extra plates when requested. These were relatively minor issues, however, and did not significantly detract from the evening. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience with great food, a beautiful patio overlooking the waterfall, and solid service. We would gladly return and would certainly recommend it for special occasions or a nice evening out.

My husband is gluten free for medical reasons. When he ordered, he specifically confirmed that everything, including his beer, was gluten free. Despite that, the bartender served him a beer that was not gluten free. When we pointed it out, the bartender simply said, "Sorry about that, I'm new here. I don't know that stuff." A dietary restriction like gluten isn't something staff can afford to guess about. If you're unsure, you should ask someone before serving a customer. The shift leader's response made the situation even worse. She rolled her eyes, seemed annoyed that she was called over, and said, "Okay... sorry. I'll take the beer off." There was no genuine concern that a customer had been served something they specifically asked to avoid. The manager eventually came over and apologized, saying that he needed to better educate his staff and that the mistake was ultimately his responsibility. However, after a frustrating discussion, he told us he would comp our meals, but that we needed to "take care of my staff," even though neither employee involved offered a sincere apology or accepted responsibility for the mistake. Mistakes happen. What matters is how they're handled. Serving someone the exact item they asked you to avoid, then responding with indifference and expecting the customer to reward poor service, is unacceptable. If your restaurant advertises gluten free options, your staff should be properly trained on what is and is not gluten free. This experience left us with very little confidence that dietary restrictions are taken seriously here.

We ordered two waters and my husband ordered one soda for himself. He came back with two waters and two glasses and poured the soda into two different glasses and proceeded to tell us no sharing we weren't sure what he meant by this because I never asked for a pop. He was laughing when he said it so we let that one go. We ordered the same thing we got last time which was some kind of chicken stew with rice and coconut milk and peanuts because it was delicious the last time we had it. I made the mistake of telling the waiter that my husband had the chicken stroganoff and that was good too that I had tasted his last time he proceeded to tell me there's no sharing and laughing hysterically. I figured he was just trying to be funny? The last time we came to this restaurant, we had four people the bill was $350 because we ordered all kinds of appetizers and desserts. He overheard this and came to the table and said then I think what you need to do is order the $80 plate since you guys are ordering the same thing and remember there's no sharing then he proceeded to say something else about getting me another Coke if I wanted it and my husband had to correct him several times saying she never ordered a coke if you would have actually listened to what we wanted and stop trying to be a comedian ! Then my husband told him to please just put in our order for 2 dinners and some bread or we were going to leave, he said oh are you serious right now? My husband told him yes I am and you are insulting us with your comments about " sharing " its getting to the point where we may need another waiter he quickly walked away. Someone else brought our food to the table but no bread, my chicken stew had 3 little pieces of chicken in it nothing like we had the 1 st time my husband had to give me some chicken with my stew which was a coconut soup with a little white rice all mixed together not like the last time at all. We finally had to ask for the bread which he brought over. The dinner was terrible, but we didn't want to say anything because we just wanted to get out of there. Our whole dinner was ruined. Here's the thing the waiter seemed very off-balance. something is definitely not right with him. I understand he's new but the way he was speaking with us was unprofessional. Don't try to be a comedian. Read the room. And as for his comments about sharing for the last time when when we were here with our daughter and her boyfriend and spent over $300 for the bill, we can taste whoever's dinner we want to taste! And when you're offering tapwater and four dollars for a can of pop and making comments the way he was, I will never ever step foot in this place again too inconsistent with their food and too many other places to go to. So disappointing.
