I really want to give them 5 stars as the food was delicious but the service was absolutely terrible. It was a Wednesday night and it was pretty empty and the waitress acted as if we were bothering her. We ordered the chicken and lamb kabob with rice and salad. The chicken was tender and moist but the lamb was a little over cooked and dry. They need to get their staff together or this business will slowly tank. read more

We waited 50 minutes for our food, after we ordered. Once bringing the food to our table, the waitress let us know, there was a big party in the back, but when I went to use the bathroom, I didn't see anything. But I could be mistaken maybe it was a DoorDash or something over the phone. Other than the food taking forever the restaurant is beautiful and the staff was friendly. She then proceeds to insist the chicken has no spice and it's plain, like 3 times, she says it just has butter. Really? I've had chicken with butter, it's never come out looking orange and with a kick. Plus I've never been to a Mediterranean place that serves just plain chicken with butter, they always have seasoning. In any case she says "I'll go ask the chef and see what he can do" she leaves, starts doing other stuff never comes back. A really nice Mediterranean Restaurant. I ordered the delicious chicken kabobs with rice and a wonderfully generous Greek salad on the side. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Their pita bread was exceptional. A great bar with lots of choices. The only thing missing was the traditional garlic paste that usually comes with a chicken kabob. They said they were out of it, but I didn't see it on the menu either. I might bring my own along next time. Worth a try if you like Mediterranean food. read more

We had an excellent server named Jennifer, who was very attentive and provided helpful suggestions. The food was delicious! My wife and I have been looking forward to trying this new spot in Azusa, and tonight we finally were able to. To start with, I called and made reservations for two. We were on time but the two servers apparently weren't communicating, and our table was given to people that came in after us. The bartender Miguel did a wonderful job trying to accommodate, and in the end was able to come up with a drink that hit the spot. I must admit the food was delicious! Towards the middle of dinner they threw on some real nice jazz music which set a nice mood to the place. This place has serious potential and was actually very busy so the word is out. I did appreciate seeing who appeared to be the owner maybe coming in and out of the kitchen to the dining area to help out. I've been wanting to try this place since it is located near where I live and they have vegan options. I got the Hummus vegan appetizer and Vegan beef wrap. The hummus was quite good with sesame seeds on top and the waitress was nice about brining us more pita break since the hummus plate is pretty filled. The vegan beef wrap is quite meaty, but not in a bad way as the impossible meat can be (in my opinion). On the menu, it said that the vegan beef wrap came with fries in it, but mine did not. The seating is very much the same as the previous restaurant had it (City Cafe- R.I.P.), but more bright inside, which can either be better or worse for the ambiance. I thought it was fine, but the booths seemed a little tight to go into and out of them and I am an average sized person. The staff was nice though. I went to the restroom and found that the automatic faucet didn't work well, as water would be disbursed in bursts and then after a really long time it would come out normal then be dysfunctional again real quick-I'd recommend getting that fixed because I couldn't rinse my hands in a reasonable amount time and wasted more time than I had to in the restroom (or just put a regular faucet). I think in general, I would probably return eventually. read more

My husband enjoyed the New York Sour. Both times I ordered the shrimp skewer with garden salad and the flavor of the marinade is unbelievably delicious! My husband raved about the sour beef skewers and last time ordered the chicken and beef combo, which he loved. Waitress Tish was fantastic.
