Love the welcoming atmosphere! Doctor is incredibly easy to talk to and explains things very clearly. He has a gentle approach, and his assistants are very warm and comforting! I'm a little apprehensive before each appointment (I know I'm not alone in this!) but I always feel better once sitting in the chair and talking with the doctor. It's been awhile since the last time I went to Dentist and I was very worried about it. I prefer go to Dentist near my house as nobody can come with me. Then, I found Dr. Charmane Ponghirun, DDS! Thank goodness, when I first time came to here everybody is so nice! Sam, I believe the receptionist, greeted me and I asked him regarding the price and MediCal situation. He is very attentive and answer me greetly. They accept MediCal and I am very thankful for it. Usually Walk-In during Covid-19 (back in Feb) was almost impossible, but luckily they allowed me and make an appointment for me 3 hours later, again I live close. Within two appointments, my teeth are better than ever. Dr. Charmane and her assistant are very sweet to me! I am so thankful they help me to take care my teeth! :))) read more

Amazing staff and dentist! Each of the people that work in this office all took their time to listen, and Dr Chang made me understand everything. He was very professional and compassionate. His assistant was so caring and friendly, making me feel so welcome and less anxious. Then at the end, Mariana took her time to explain to me what needed to be done and how much cost I am responsible for. This a a gem of a dental office. I'm a new patient here at Lemoncreek Dental. Dr. Chang was very nice and was very professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated how he took the time to explain to me in a way that I could understand about the condition of my teeth and gave recommendations for helping to maintain the health of my teeth. He didn't push for any procedure and was transparent about the level of urgency for installing a crown for a root canal that I got done elsewhere. I appreciated how he used his professional knowledge to give sound and honest advice. The dental assistants were very skillful, knowledgeable, and professional and helped make what is usually dreaded dental visits a comfortable one. Mariana at the front desk is super friendly to all patients and to anyone that steps into the office (even the delivery man). I instantly felt that this dental clinic is a positive environment. I really appreciated how she also took the time to patiently answer all of my questions regarding dental insurance and getting Invisalign since I have no idea know insurance in the U.S. works. Since I've come to know Dr. Chang I've become a fan of his professionalism, his competence and his courtesy towards all his patients. My family and I have been going to Lemoncreek Dental for decades with Dr. Charmaine Ponghirun as our primary dentist. Through the years we've had everything from crowns, fillings and cosmetic veneers done and for the few years we lived in San Diego, every time I have my teeth clean or go to a periodontist they would always ask me who did my veneers because they are so beautiful and nicely done. I got to know Dr. Chang on a few occasions when Dr. Ponghirun was not available and was equally impressed with his high level of skill. My last dentist office always had a separate billings person sell me on all these services such as deep cleanings. This office didn't do that. My sister had a painful dental emergency so we found this dentist that accepted her insurance. I can tell they put a lot of care into the look of the place, with advertising outside too. Very nice looking place with hardwood floors, free sparking and regular water in the waiting room, and seasonal decorations. A lot of medical offices have mean receptionist but not here at all-the front receptionist/dental assistant is very nice and comforting. It took less than 30 minutes for them to do X-rays, an exam, and prescribe medication. read more
