This is my all-time favorite sushi place. As much as there are other places in town like Samurai or Wasabi, no place compares to how fresh and tasty their menu is. I used to go here way more often before they shut down for a while and revamped it. Glad the fish tank is still there. I usually get quite a few things and split them with whoever I am with or take them home as leftovers. For appetizers, I recommend the fried tofu and the spring rolls. Both come out quickly, have great flavors, and I love the sauce pairings. For my entree, I typically get sushi. I love trying their fun special rolls and usually try a new one each time. I will say, a lot of their rolls have been misses for me. I do not love all rolls here equally. If I were to recommend some to those starting out in sushi, try the sweet potato, vegetable roll, and volcano roll. These are all great, lower in calories, and come out quickly as well. For those who are okay spending more or trying fun rolls, try the house special or the Santa. These are some of my all-time favorites. I have even tried the cashew/nut curry here and really enjoyed it as well. Almost everything I still get is just as amazing as when I first tried the restaurant. The staff is also always nice, and it is always very clean and moodily lit. My last recommendation is to only go on Tuesdays or Thursdays! This place is not cheap, so doing that can help you save a lot of money. read more

The food was alright, I wasn't wowed by it. The crab Rangoon had a curry taste to it, it was a little weird. The Phad se ew was good but not that spicy, we asked for a 3 star. My cousin ordered the beef version and that was better, flavors were coming through. Every dish came with either a side salad or soup and we got salad and it was good. The pineapple fried rice was good too but lacked a little seasoning imo. The lettuce wrap was my favorite, flavors were on point. Overall I would try this place again, they have a lot of items on their menu and we ordered about 30 mins before closing so maybe dishes were being rushed, but I would give them a try if you're in the area. The waitress we had was friendly and conversational, but the food has left me with the most severe case of food poisoning. I'm not sure if it was the sushi or the chicken I had, and in hindsight there seemed something up with the sushi, but I am beyond miserable. I have an irrational fear of doctors but I'm planning on going to hospital/ urgent care soon. Stay far, FAR away, they clearly don't upkeep to cleanliness and standard- which makes it even more concerning given the currant global issue. I have a tough stomach, never sick/ nauseous (I've tried some weird food from various places too), and Lemongrass has genuinely made me worryingly sick. I never post reviews unless something significance happens, but, please, avoid this place at all costs. Edit from Google Reviews for more info: We ate at around 6pm on Wednesday the 24th. I am fully aware what food poisoning is (in response to the owner on Google) and know that it took time, otherwise I wouldn't have pointed the finger to Lemongrass. But to respond by assuming rather than asking or taking this seriously, is just ridiculous to me. I felt fine that evening, slightly ill later in the day Thursday, and then violently sick from late last night to now. Again, please stay away from this place. And the casual dismissal of their food getting their customers sick is more than concerning enough on it's own. I will say for the number of servers present due to the pandemic I was satisfied with the service; I didn't feel at all like I was being passed over or ignored. My critiques for my visit mainly are for the food and presentation. The first thing I received was my beverage, which was accompanied by an unappealing and visibly dirty slice of lemon. I then ordered the Spicy Yellow Tail roll and the Chicken Pad Thai. My sushi plate was slightly stained with what I assumed was my food that had shifted. The Pad Thai looked somewhat thrown onto the plate and was quite saucier and sweeter than I recall the traditional dish being. As a lover of Asian cuisine, I was left feeling "meh" after this meal. My family of four just had take away dinner from this restaurant. The flavors were OK but the service from the hostess/ person who deals with to go customers was unpleasant. Quantities were sparse, some flatware provided but not enough given the amount of food ordered. The panang was cheaply made. We were hoping to find our new Thai/Japanese joint with this restaurant so close to home. We were unfortunately disappointed. First off, the menu items are priced high compared to other authentic Thai restaurants that we have been to. We hoped that the higher price tag also meant great quality food. I have no problem paying more for better quality food. We were sorely mistaken. Our server was kind and attentive to our table and chatty kiddo. She applaud our girl for eating a much as she did and having a good time. She made the meal half worth it. Hubby ordered the T3. green curry with chicken medium-hot (coconut milk, green curry paste with potatoes, sweet bell peppers, green peas, Thai eggplant, snow pea pods, onions and Thai sweet basil) at $13.95. Hubby was not pleased. The curry was thicker than expected and not cohesively put together. He maybe got half way before calling it quits on his meal. The kiddo requested noodles so we picked the RN1. Drunken Noodles (rice noodles stir-fried with eggs, sweet bell peppers, fresh mushrooms, jalapeños peppers, cashews, scallions, spicy, chili sauce and enhanced with thai sweet basil) with double protein (tofu and chicken). Initial cost is $13.95 for one protein. There was some heat to it, but it was delicious. The flavor was well rounded. I did feel that the amount of protein could have been better. Hubby almost gave the kiddo a jalapeño as he did not expect to see sliced pepper rounds in the dish. Kiddo had a great meal and filled out on miso soup (tofu, seaweed, and scallions served in a milky soup with miso paste) too. I ordered #44 Kamikazi Tuna (cooked tuna, avocado, spicy mayo) and #66 Kiss the Fire (yellow tail, avocado, scallion, topped with spicy tuna). Although presented well, the flavor was lacking. I am used to clean and umami flavors coming together in one bite of sushi. This was just not it. It wasn't spicy anything. Spicy mayo did not taste spicy. Spicy tuna was not spicy. I have a mid to low heat tolerance, and I did not taste it. This is not a place I am planning on coming back to if I can help it. The drunken noodles and the server we had might make it worth coming back for 1 item, but the price tag did not make it worth while. read more

I wanted Thai, and the place I have been going the last couple of weeks wasn't answering the phone, so I decided to give this place a shot. It was walking distance from my hotel which was nice. I was greeted by the friendly staff when I got in, and I placed my order (To-Go, Pad Thai and Coconut Shrimp) quickly. I was quoted about a 15 minute wait, but it ended up being ready in about ten. Maybe less. They were nice enough to package some utensils, which I appreciate. Especially when you're a restaurant serving to go orders and are situated between like three or four hotels. It's just a nice thing to do. I figured I'd eat the coconut shrimp and some of the pad Thai, I've done that in the past and typically have more than enough left over for lunch the next day. Unfortunately, the food was sub par. The coconut shrimp was serviceable, but nothing special. A few of the pieces were at least partially burnt. But not horrible. The pad Thai on the other hand was rough. Almost no flavor, and the chicken was kinda overly chewy, definitely not the right texture/consistency. I ate a few bites, and tossed the rest. It wasn't worth keeping. The staff was friendly. Hopefully their sushi is better than their Thai food. Or maybe they need to bring in a new chef. With other, better options nearby, it's just hard to recommend people check this place out. read more

Wow. So how nice it would be to receive a delicious Authentic Thai meal...my search will continue. The yellow curry with chicken was the consistency of soup. The Thai spice was not even noticeable. I have to update my original review sadly. Husband and I got sushi, salad and two fresh shrimp rolls on Wednesday afternoon--Had it delivered in a super timely manner. Probably the first order in when they opened. By Wednesday night, I was feeling nauseous and extremely tired. I just went right to bed that Wednesday evening. No more food for me today! By Thursday, I woke up projectile vomiting every few hours. Sorry. Graphic. I couldn't keep water or Gatorade down even. Just hours upon hours of throwing up stomach acid bc I had no appetite for food. It's now Sunday and I've had one banana, some rice and some toast. Basically kept it down for about two hours before right back up. Terrible diarrhea too by Friday. I also got an amazingly awful migraine that lasted until this afternoon (Sunday). Cold sweats in bed, etc. I couldn't even get my kindergartener to school 4 miles away bc I was terrified I would throw up or shit and piss myself in the SUV. The only thing I had that hubby didn't was a fresh roll. He's totally fine so I can't even imagine what else this could be. 17 years ago I got food poisoning from shrimp at Applebees when I was in college. I've never been to another Applebee's since then. I sadly don't think I can try Lemongrass again at this point bc this has been so so so bad. PS-I mentioned my food poisoning to our neighbor (she graciously took kiddo to school for me so I wasn't just being malicious). She's lived here her whole life and was like "oh yah, their stuff doesn't taste or look fresh." Used to be a loyal weekly takeout customer and will NEVER go here again. My wife ordered at 6pm and 1.5 hrs later the food was still not ready. No one told us the wait would be a long time so I could have an option to cancel; they just kept telling me "wait 5 more minutes" the whole time I waited. Then after an hour and a half when I asked if they could just comp the order, they put the food in my hand and said no, but they could take the food back from me and refund me. So I gave them the food and hopefully got refunded. Absolutely horrible management and handling of the situation. NEVER GO HERE. Worst Thai food I have eVer had. Miso tasted like mop water and the actual water tasted dirty. As for tHe food, we had the Drunken Noodles, and I don't recall jalapeños being a Thai staple, but there were plenty. We love it spicy, but legit Thai spicy. Absolutely amazing! I always get the classic red curry from here and it never disappoints. My husband alternates between the green curry and sushi and it's so good. The first time I went, I had the sushi lunch special. I got the spicy tuna and salmon rolls and they were delicious. However, the second time I went, I tried the Basil Chicken which was not good to me at all. It literally only had one basil leaf, and had a very manufactured taste with no Thai chili's at all. I make Thai cuisine at home and I'll stick to doing that. However, I would return for the sushi, just not the Thai. read more

She did a fantastic job being professional even when her other customers were being stuck up and difficult.
