Sad place! Two employees there. I suspect it's bc they are in such a dangerous area and have to deal with the homeless harassment many people get discouraged to bo go there or even work there. They have one nail tech essentially however the next day the nails started falling off my friend the very same day. I can't seem to find a good nail salon in dtla! Came here cause I live across the street and had an event. A drill bit was used super harshly when thinning out my acrylics and I could feel pain in my natural nail bed that it had me flinching and has made my fingers swollen. Kept using the nail filer on my skin which hurt too. My cuticles were never cut or cleaned so doesn't look very neat. Overall, my nail design is super messy and didn't coat the nail completely and looks chipped. Very disappointed with this salon. I was charged $100 and tipped $25. Update: Got a message to fix my nails or get a refund. I called the salon before dropping by and was told no one is a manager when asking for a manager name and to call back later. I'm not sure of her name but it wasn't Sydney. She did a great job except for my big toe on my right foot. She took off too much skin with some plier looking tool and by the time I got home, I was bleeding around the perimeter of my big toenail. Not cool. This place is great for manicures. Beware of who does your pedicure though. Also, I was originally charged $150 for a gel manicure with overlay, acrylic tips, and two accent nails and a gel pedicure. Not sure if that's a reasonable price since I haven't gotten my nails done in a really long time. I ended up paying $110 with a first-time customer discount. Just a heads up: tell them everything you want up-front so you aren't surprised when you get to the register. read more

I came to this nail salon and got a full set with a pedicure, I also got acrylic on one toe because of an unfortunate chipping accident lol. They did a job good enough to make me want to go back for a fill 2 weeks later and unfortunately I started to notice discolouration in 2 of my nails and the toe that I got acrylic on. I asked them to use new nail tools on my hands and feet and they assured me they are, but it was very clear they did not. I don't recommend this nail salon especially if you plan on getting fills every 2 weeks, you'll start to notice discolouration in your nails as if your nail was bruised! I'm extremely disappointed in places like this. Whole sale nail filers are about 10 cents a piece, maybe less and they continue to do our nails with used tools. Very unprofessional. read more

DO NOT COME HERE STAY AWAY!!!! Worse experience in a nail shop, REASON A: I asked for a simple gel x design and the man working on me was rushing. Didn't clean my nails or even file before putting on gel x. He cut me over and over again in the same place after I told him it hurts. The towels they use leave hair all over your nails. I've been getting my nails Done for years, We all know that leaving Hair on the base coat will result in hair being stuck on the nails. So I kept asking him to fix it before painting the design and he insisted it was fine. He dropped the gel light on my hand and messed up the design. When I asked him to fix it he just tried to hide it and it still was messed up. I was so polite to the point where their carelessness pushed me to ask for a manager. REASON B: When I asked the lady at the front desk if she was a manager she said no, but called over the manager. Then I explained to the manager what happened and she acted as if she couldn't see it. As I was explaining, the same employee lady was taking s**t to me the whole time. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I washed my hands and showed her again and then she finally agreed to not charge me for the design because it was obviously messed up. But she still charged me $90 for gel x and no design?? Not right! REASON C: They also do NOT follow COVID protocols. Some employees do not wear masks and they also don't enforce customers to wear them!! They were even fake coughing and sneezing as a joke when one of their coworkers sneezed with bo mask on! If you all ( employees ) don't want to believe in this pandemic, have your beliefs but at least respect the health and safety of others!! The way they run their business disgusts me.
