(Super tender and succulent pork ribs in a mild red chile sauce that is delicious!) the Carne Asada is also perfect as well as their burritos (they are so simple- meat, lettuce, cheese. But there is something so good about its simplicity!) The Carne Asada is seasoned well and everything just tastes better because it's all so fresh. We know the proprietor and I can vouch for the quality of food. I will say though, that service can be less than great sometimes, because this place is always packed, and these ladies gotta hustle. The ladies working there can be a little slow and for some reason every time we go, they always forget my food! Other than that, the food is bomb! I live in the city of pacoima, I have been to many mexican restaurants, but I must say lenchitas, is very good, authentic, and the prices are responsible. I find myself at lncinitas like 2 - 3 times a week as long as im in driving distance i will continue to eat here I LOVE LENCHITAS. read more

All the staff were extremely rude, as you walk into the restaurant the workers just walk past you. There's no system, just walk in and sit down and eventually someone will come over and ask what you want. You sit down and like an owl you must turn your neck 180 degrees because the huge menu is right behind you. There is limited sitting and the tables are very small and get cleaned with a wet rag but remain sticky with a weird smell. The food takes a really long time to get to your table. There are 2 bathrooms and they are very nasty, similar to a park's bathroom with a foul odor and there's a lot of graffiti. The only positive thing about this place is the food. Food was okay. The place is very dirty. There was a waitress there that looked super ghetto. She's was chewing gum and poping her gum the whole time that she was taking the orders and serving. I believe that gum shouldn't be allowed while working especially NOT if it's in a restaurant. My boyfriend and I asked to drink coffee but as I was going to pour sugar in my coffee from the glass look like jar there was a long hair inside. Yuck that made me lose my appetite. The customer service here is terrible. My parents just came home and and told me they walked out of this place because they were left unattended for over 20 minutes. No one acknowledged them even as the servers passed by them multiple times. It is ridiculous that two senior citizens would need to go through such a humiliation. To make it worse, they said this is not the first time this happened to them here. A late afternoon first visit to this place my wife's co-worker recommend and spoke highly of, so we enter and sat down. The menu is pretty easy to read. The place wasn't as expected, the service was okay, our waitress was running around taking orders and going back to the kitchen and preparing the food, while other customers enter and sat there for a long time just to get service. Our waitress was so busy she forgot to get us the tamal we order and forgot to take it out of our check. It seemed that the waiting staff was up at arms at one another.
