The girl at the register was super friendly and personable. I was told that this place was the best to shop around. I ordered a turkey bacon avocado, mac & cheese and a soda. The mac & cheese was very good I guess I would compare it similar to Panera's mac & cheese. I got my order to go so I didn't realize until about 20 minutes away that they forgot the bacon and avocado. It was literally turkey, lettuce one slice of cheese, a couple slices of tomato and cucumber and some mayo. Really? So disappointing..... the sandwich was good but I was really looking forward to a turkey bacon avocado sandwich. So I think I was definitely jipped because you have to pay more for those items then just a basic turkey sandwich. read more

Walking in, we were greeted with a friendly " hello" I ordered the Philly cheese steak small sub, hubby ordered the Italian sub. The Philly has a deep au jus taste. The beef tasted burnt, hardly any cheese on it. Not impressed. The Italian is better, full of flavor. Would definitely order the Italian. Didn't care for the Philly cheese steak, maybe if they didn't burn it and it had more cheese on it. read more

I have seen Lenny's Subs at various locales but never gave them a second though: Big Mistake. My sandwich was delicious. I got the Buffalo chicken philly sandwich, came with Buffalo chicken diced philly cheese steak style, cheese, OLT, and a spicy pepper sauce. The sandwich was hot and the cheese made it extra creamy and delicious. The spicy pepper sauce added just the right amount of heat while the OLT did its part as a cooling agent of sorts. The multigrain bread was so soft and fluffy, none of that stiff cardboard stuff. The price was great as well. Just as good as a Jersey Mikes sub but much more affordable. My 10" sandwich, chips and drink only set me back $12. That's a deal in my book. As far as a Buffalo chicken sandwich goes, I would say it was perfect! read more

I've never had to wait 12 minutes for a sandwich to be made while I was the only person in the place. The "piled high turkey" was 3 slices of poor quality turkey. I ordered the sandwich with everything but mayo. I gave the order to the cashier, then the manager who had to put everything in the system cos the kid didn't know how to do it, and then again to the kid who took 12 minutes to make it. I got home and it had lettuce, mayo and mustard. That was it. The bread was bland, too.. I called the store and got no answer, then left a message. The manager never called me. We went here to get a sub to share before the movies. Well when we pulled up both employees were sitting out front vaping, one of them got up and went to the register and took our order. Than he went to make our sandwich. Did not wash his hands before putting gloves on. Than as he's preparing our sandwich he is wiping food that he drops on the make table and scooping it up and putting on our sandwich. The make table looked filthy. Also the ice machine top bin was open were anything could fall into the ice. Store was dirty. Employees looked dirty. Needless to say we will never go back!! read more

Avoid this Lennys. Understaffed, not clean, and less than fresh food. I feel sorry for the gentleman working there the other day when I came by to get a sandwich. He was very polite to me, but after several people had been waiting in line after me for more than five minutes, he abruptly announced that he was only doing online orders and in store would take at least a half an hour. The three people left, obviously ticked off. The bread on my sandwich was stale, The ham tasted terrible, the Turkey was nothing special. Other Lenny's in knoxville were much better. read more

Wow this place is awesome! Just like its competitor that freshly slices their deli meat too! I was wondering why we didn't have a Jersey Mike's closer than Oak Ridge and now I see why! Just as great although the pickles are a little different for Lenny's Way and they could add a little more of their oil & vinegar blend to their subs but otherwise it's pretty fantastic. Yummy cheddar & sour cream chips too. I'm looking forward to trying one of their philly steak subs! read more

firstly there was two white boys working there, no "hello" no nothing, the shorter one had a chip on his shoulder. it took about 30 minutes for each customer before we finally got our two sandwiches. and then, they made two customers walk out because of their attitude. when it's finally ready, he just stares in my direction until i look over and he gives this bratty entitled look. he doesn't even put the subs in a bag, and when i ask for one he THREW it at me, can't even put the subs IN THE BAG! me and my partner are FED up and absolutely disgusted with the behavior and wait time, no apology, so much DISRESPECT. Shared our experience at Lenny's several times over the last few years. Twice great reviews, twice crummy. No more. We are finally and totally finished with Lenny's Subs. Our last visit did it. We called to order, they put us on hold so we proceeded to the store anyway as it was on our way. We were on hold for close to 10 mins when we arrived. Store was spotless clean and one older couple eating at one table. We were still on hold. Called their attention to the problem and they said they were just slammed. Slammed? We were still on hold and their was hardly anyone around. So.... we ordered a Philly with Jalapenos anyway. When we got it home it had more Japs than meat. We took the Japs out and had one skinny Philly. Maybe retaliation for us showing angst over their letting us sit on hold? We think this may be an on going practice late in the shift at Lenny's . Don't take new business as you then need to clean the place again and cannot leave early. Too often to be a mistake. We will not return anymore. Ugh!! read more

A little pricey for my taste in subs. I came here with coworkers for a lunch, and well since I never tried Lenny's Subs before we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Italian, but I ordered the Large which was a nice 15" sub. The only problem was, well you got it, the price. For $13.95 an extra 3 inches didn't seem to justify for the price. I could go to Blimpie's or Subway for $10 get 24" (2 subs) or Super Stacked subs from Blimpies for like $16 for 2. Anyways, the amount of meat and size just didn't really push it for me. I ordered the large because well, I wanted to see how much meat and extras I was getting with that 15" sub. Did it meet my expectations? Not really. Some of this, some of that, not a whole lot in the end. However, this Lenny's isn't bad, located right off of Lovell. It's a little difficult to pull in and pull out of the place unless you use the back roads to get into the center. The service was good, the people who took my order were really nice and helpful. If I come back I'll just stick to their regular sized subs, as I think you get the most of your dollar for the sub. read more

I regularly go to this Lennys (my favorite sub shop in town) and they were having card reading issues and the manager and team at that location were great and very friendly. They didn't show any stress and were very kind given the business of lunch rush hour and worked around using a different method to pay. Will always continue to visit this Lenny's location! read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS -- Well if the dirty floors and the snappy staff didn't scare me away, the roaches in the dinning area did. Also instead of fixing the men's room door lock, they just slapped a note saying it may or may not lock so knock first. Management truly does not care about this location.
