Brooklyn is full of great late night pizza eateries, but Lenny's was a great spot in comparison to others. The location was clean and they heat the pizza up and had great deals. The slices are huge! I did takeout to take advantage of some takeout specials and a nice excuse to get out of my WFH life. There are some other places I've bought from in the past but sadly I guess some things changed with their delivery radius and was happy to give Lenny's a shot. Be careful ordering- there's a (sister?) location near Lincoln Rd. Interestingly enough the pies were slightly different from either location but both were good. More of a takeout/delivery space but that's all you need. .... I may or may not have inhaled what I ordered which is a great sign. read more

Lenny's Pizza.........hmmmmmm what can I say. On my first visit, I decided to order a slice with an order of garlic knots as well. I really enjoyed the pizza which was very good. The crust was just right, light and crispy......exactly the way that I like it. On my second visit, I decided to bring my son because he absolutely loves to eat pepperoni rolls whenever we go to pizzerias. I brought him here because I noticed on my first visit that instead of offering the traditional pepperoni rolls, Lenny's actually did something a little different and made pepperoni wheels. What stood out to me was the fact that it was bigger and only $1.50.......yes you read it correctly only $1.50. My son said that it was really good so a special shoutout to Lenny's on a job well done! I also noticed that they offer several specials on pizza orders. For example, you can get small pie for $6.00........I thought that I seeing things when I saw the prices but it is the real deal. For only $2.00 extra, you can choose to top your pizza with a topping of your choice......how cool is that......pretty awesome to me! The staff are really nice and friendly. The pizzeria gets a lot of business so they must be doing something good. I only gave this review three stars because of the decor and lack of seating. There are three tables to accommodate customers but one table area is covered with empty pizza boxes. I think that they should invested in a new coat of paint to make the place a little more inviting upon walking into the business. I also think they should invest in a counter so that customers can stand and eat their food. For the most part, I enjoyed the food and will definitely be back real soon when that pizza craving creeps up on me. read more

The day we arrived in NY, my sister and I set out for pizza on our walk! We came across this pizza shop and stopped in to dine in! We had two slices of cheese pizza, garlic knots and a piece of fried chicken thigh. The chicken was okay--I've enjoyed better. The pizza was pretty good. Typically NY style pizza in other states is just thin: there really is an art to getting it to feel like you're sitting at a ma and pa pizza shop. $10 (CASH only) for a large plain pie in 10 minutes from the time I walked in the door! Not bad. A little Hispanic pizza shop that serves pastas, sandwiches, chicken, and Caribbean food too. Has two booths where I waited for my pizza, so you can dine-in if you like. It was pretty warm, so not on a 95-degree day like today. The edge crust was crisp, though the crust under the toppings was meh. Sauce and cheese to the very edge of the dough. Fresh, hand-pulled dough and ingredients. I watched them; they're pros. And the pizza barely fit into the box. When I got it home, the edges had curled inwards cuz it was so huge! Their cheese or sauce had a dizzying mix of spices, mostly garlic, wafting toward my face as I scurried home to try my new acquisition. Pork-free facilities. Low-key restaurant with Spanish music playing in the background. Nice guys making the pies. Cheap, quick, convenient to Downstate and decent pizza. read more

To preempt this- i NEVER write bad reviews and I always give people the benefit of the doubt. But that all being said, this is the last time I will be ordering from Lenny's. Delivery guy called 20 minutes before it was supposed to come to ask for crosstreet, he stoppped talking to me and stated complaining about the distance and cold. He called 20 minutes later and mumbled something about being cold, it being far, and something about not being fired. So I called Lenny's and they let me know that they were sending a new pizza. 30 minutes later, what I believe was the original pizza (box was beaten up, pizza was ice cold) came. He lied about bringing a new pie and also seemed to lie about having a bag to keep it warm. I sent back the pizza and was told that they were going to make a brand new pie (supposedly pie #3). finally what was an hour after the delivery was supposed to happen, he arrived with a hot pie. The guy over the phone was not overly helpful in this matter, nor was the pizza guy (who was appologetic when he brought me each pie. Overall, not impressed. Please beware, it seems like they treat their delivery guys poorly (and don't train them very well. *sigh* And the pizza ended up being tasty too. read more

Just moved to Flatbush and Lenny's is our de facto neighborhood standard cheese slice source. Always perfectly made. Stick with plain cheese slices for $2. Can't go wrong. In any other neighborhood, I'm not sure I'd give this as high a rating, and to be honest the pizza isn't really that good - it's okay, it's better than going to the Little Ceasar's around the corner, that's for certain. It's Brooklyn, though - and to be honest - I've had better Pizza in the Maryland Suburbs. So that's a disappointment. The real story here are the sandwiches and the chicken - It's hard to mess these things up, but if I wanted tenders I have to choose between here and Crown, Kennedy, or KFC - I pick this place every time. The cookies are $0.50 each and they par-bake them and heat them up to order. I appreciate that. The guys working the counter are nice enough, and they'll talk to you and joke around with the neighborhood guys - so that's nice to see. read more

My husband and I moved to Brooklyn last year and started looking for our local pizza joint. We have eaten at the restaurant but most of the time we order delivery. I was surprised to see people had trouble with delivery because they are one of the best we have encountered, on time and polite. When we had to call about something once the person on the phone was nice as well. The pizza is great and I have also enjoyed their pasta with meatballs. My husband love their caesar salad. There's nothing like a NY slice of pizza! Walking around the area today looking for a place to grab a bite and I came across Lenny's. The "$1.50 slice" sign outside is what really brought me in. Once I got inside I saw the sign for garlic knots 3 for $1 so I added that to my list also. The people behind the counter were working fast to get everyone's order in. When my slice and garlic knots were ready I handed him card and then I was told they only accept cash. I neverrr have cash on me so I told him I'd look for an ATM. As I walked outside he met me from the side window with my food and told me if I didn't have the cash its OK. I was shocked he said that but I was determined to pay for my food. He told me there was an ATM in the back of the store and I went there and made a withdraw. I paid for my food and dined in. I was going to give 3 stars but I bumped it up to 4 because of the great service. He was going to let me have the food for free. I hope in the future they begin to accept cards because a lot of business can be lost by declining customers with cards . Great food overall! read more

It should be obvious when a business has bad reviews and low star ratings that you should avoid giving that business a call. Of course I did not obey that rule and made the huge mistake of ordering from this dump anyway. To begin with they were late, very late, when the delivery guy shows up, he is standing 10 feet away from my basement door signaling me to come to him instead of opening the gate and walking 10 feet to my door like every other delivery person. He argued with me for 2 minutes before coming to my door. It was the principle that forced me to show down with him and not give him the upper hand. Once I had him the 20 dollars, I tell him that he doesnt deserve a tip but I will give him 2.50 anyway and he tells me "i dont need your tip", I say fine, then give me 8 dollars back and of course this jerk checks his wallet and doesnt have enough money to even give me my change, he could only give me 6 dollars back from a $10.89 total . So this jerk got rewarded for being rude, late, and unprofessional. I called the store to complain and of course there was no manger or person in charge to do anything for me or to hold accountable the driver for his disrespect. Its 3pm and no manager, or person of leadership cannot be found until the next day. The pizza was cold, and nasty to boot. Please save yourself the trouble and heed my words, this is a bootleg , most likely illegally run business who could give a darn about customer service, or quality of service or food. read more
