Overall - ok. Not the most traditional NY style pizza. Dough was good, cheese was ok. Got the Margherita pizza, so granted not full of cheese like I am used to. Service - top notch. We arrived at closing time and they were still willing to serve us. Ambiance - fun spot. Cool vibrant location. Verdict - I will give them another shot and choose a different slice, but I didn't come away with a wow factor.
3.5 truly. We went in here randomly after seeing maybe 4 people in line (never saw that in the Manhattan locations). We got a Tartufo slice and the gelato with olive oil and sea salt seasoning. Firstly, to all the people working there - kudos! They were doing a great job in managing the crowds with a tight space in insane heat - all that with a smile. Onto the food - I honestly preferred the gelato over the pizza. The pizza wasn't bad - but it wasn't great either. The gelato was perfect for a hot summer day -- the watermelon seasonal option was ideal for a hot summer day. Is the hype and price worth it? Personally, not entirely.

Proceed as follows: 1) ORDER 2) PAY 3) FOLD said pizza in half. 4) SHOVE it down 5) LEAVE Friendly staff. They kept the chaos as orderly as they could. Depending on where you're standing, you can get a view of them making the pizzas while you wait.
There was already a long line forming even before they opened at noon, but it moved super efficiently once doors opened, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. Just a heads up that there are no chairs inside-just high-top tables to stand at while you eat, but honestly, nobody minds because the food is that amazing. The pizza crust was unbelievable-perfectly crispy, light, and airy. Every single slice we tried was so good from first bite to last!
L'Industrie is worth the hype. The line was long and the inside was absolutely packed and chaotic, but the staff was fast and efficient. There's basically no seating with people standing around eating their slices. We got the Fig Jam & Bacon slice and the L'Industrie slice with prosciutto and burrata, plus the hot honey drizzle for an extra $2. The pizza was insanely delicious. The Fig Jam & Bacon had the perfect sweet and savory balance, while the L'Industrie slice was rich and flavorful. The hot honey absolutely made the pizza. Despite the crowds, everything moved quickly, and the quality of the pizza more than justified the wait. If you're coming to L'Industrie, do yourself a favor and get the hot honey.
L'Industrie is easily one of the best pizzas I have ever had in the world--and trust me, I've eaten pizza all over, including L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele in Napoli, Italy. It is definitely the best pizza in the US; I say this even after visiting Frank Pepe and Sally's in New Haven, and it's honestly not even close. On our last day before heading back to SF, we ordered a massive whole pie: half burrata, half pepperoni. It nailed the classic NYC slice with a thin, crisp crust and the perfect balance of cheese and sauce. It was so good that my daughter finished her burrata half over three separate sittings: at the shop, on the plane, and once she got home. The pie just kept calling to her! Be prepared for long lines, but it is worth it (and the Brooklyn location definitely has shorter lines than the Manhattan spots). It's not really a sit-down place, so you just have to grab a spot at the bar-top tables if you can find room. The service was good and fast. The cashier who took our order was amazing--absolutely love her--though she did forget to hand us our chocolate Bombolone. L'Industrie is a premier New York institution and busy for a reason: it is top-quality pizza!
I had been a bit skeptical knowing many tourists come here, but finally tried it and was glad I did. While the lines are long, the staff has a system down to keep things moving quickly. We ordered the burratta pizza and a margherita pizza. While I was most excited for the burrata, the margherita was the winner for me. The pizza in general hit the classic nyc slice that I grew up with, thin, crisp, and the right balance of cheese and sauce. Given the lines, if Im in the area I can see myself going back, but also feel there are other places throughout the city that would provide me the same taste Im looking for. Especially when considering how crowded the inside can be that its hard to find a spot to stand to eat (luckily there are counters and high-tops but they can be very crowded). They did have a cantaloupe ice cream that seemed really intriguing which would be something I'd likely come in for. The people I did see get it seemed really satisfied, and it felt like a unique flavor that I haven't seen many places offer.
At first wasn't really fond of this place but I gave this spot another chance and boy am I glad. The buratta slice did NOT disappoint and the fig jam was amazing. In a world full of hot honey and jalapeños this fig jam delivered a sweet and savory slice like no other and I really enjoyed both slices.

Limited seating outdoors, or take out to go. As we waited in line, I saw people walking out with a delicious looking spiraled white and yellow soft serve ice cream. I had to have it! And I'm glad I did! It has been by far, the best ice cream I have ever had in my entire life! I will definitely go back for this. As for the pizza, not so much. In my strongest opinion, it wasn't the best pizza, for my liking. My son loved it, as well as many other folks. I thought it could use a little more pizza sauce. I thought the crust was a little over toasty. All in all, to each their own.
A must try pizza in New York. Ordered the L'industrie and fig jam and bacon split pie. The pizza itself had a good undercarriage, the dough was airy which complements the top layer which was very rich and more dense. The L'industrie slices had a good flavor with the burrata sweetness juxtaposed the more salty prosciutto flavor well. The fig jam and bacon was the most interesting flavor- the natural sweetness of the fig was pretty strong and balanced the flavors of the bacon to some degree but definitely more sweet than salty. Both were delicious but the L'industrie I could eat a lot of slices whereas the fig jam and bacon is more of a one piece that's great to try. Best pizza so far in New York. They are busy so there's usually a wait but relatively fast for the volume. Great atmosphere inside.
probably the best pizza I've had in new york! this location is way less busy than the manhattan ones, and if you get in just before 6pm you'll barely have to wait in line. by 6:15 the line was out the door! they're very quick to serve you but they only have a few narrow counters to stand and eat at. get in and get out! the fig jam and bacon was a fantastic slice, can't get that anywhere else. the tartufo was a personal favorite and would definitely get that again. I'd absolutely recommend this pizza to anyone visiting over any other shop!
It was good. I enjoyed it. I had the margherita and the burrata. It was good. Service was cool. It a pie shop limited seating. If I'm in the neighborhood again I'd stop by . Oh the thing I love BEEF PEPPERONI.
Never have I ever in my life had such a delicious pizza. I would go here all the time if I lived in New York initially when I saw the line I was like damn this is intense, but after eating the pizza, I wondered why the line wasn't four times as long. I wish they had chairs, but it is in New York... Next time I go, I'm getting a whole pie.
This place, if you wrote down the definition of New York pizza this would be one of the places. The pizza was extremely good. For the New York style pizza, obviously different. I also consider myself a pizza connoisseur, next to ribeyes,barbecue and key lime pie, I'm probably saying my fourth is pizza. It's totally different than Chicago pizza, and I think it's because of the water I really do!!! What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Jennie took our order and she walked us through the menu. We ended up getting a big margherita pizza. My son got the 2 tomato slices, he isn't a big cheese fan. My wife got pepperoni, they have beef pepperoni or pork pepperoni. Mikey Love was really cool he came out and greeted me. My kids got a drink, and then guess what, their gelato was actually top tier. I went for pizza and found out the Geloto was was awesome. You go to a pizza place and then get gelato. They had vanilla and watermelon, it was so good. I got some for my daughter, I tasted it, and one of my self them one of my sons wanted some as well. Bernadette was making them and having a great time. Great Vibe here If you come to Brooklyn and you want great pizza, you need to try this place. This place is absolutely awesome. read more
We decided to stop by L'industrie Pizzeria, offering various whole and by-the-slice, as well as sandwiches and desserts. We ordered: +the Burrata Pie - topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and burrata; this was considered their 'signature'; the sauce was more on the sour/tangy end +and, a slice of Margherita Pie - topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, EVOO, Parm, and basil Both had thin crust and hung off the paper plates; they were just okay - thought there could be more cheese on top. The place does tend to have a line, and it does take some time to get your order(s). It is only counter seating, but usually it's full. Service was super efficient. When someone visits New York and wants pizza, why not hit up L'industrie??? It really does hit, but only if there's little to no line. I don't think I'd be willing to wait forever for it. Came on a Wednesday around 9:30 and there was no wait to order! But certainly pretty packed inside. I got the Burrata slice with hot honey & the Tartufo. The Burrato blew me away, incredible thin crust, amazing balance of flavors & i adored the addition of the hot honey. read more
L-industrie Pizzeria Thus is one of the premier pizza places in New York, busy for a reason, because it is top quity pizza, not a sit down place, eat at the bar top tables if you can find some room New Yorker Pizza is a very good slice classic and delicious, the Margharita Pizza is a safe bet but go for some sometime different, the fig jam and bacon, doesn't sound like something you would normally order but get out of the comfort zone and do it. You want ambiance or you want something good to eat, you stomach will love you. There is a reason why this place is always busy, because it is a winner. read more
During a girls trip to NYC/Brooklynn we were the first in line for pizza here. OMG the pizza was crisp, hot and delicious! There are no tables and in true New York fashion, standing room only while you eat delicious pizza. A definite must stop when in NYC/Brooklynn. Also the music added to the amazing vibe. read more

All the videos and things I had heard about this place I had very high expectations. I think it met my expectations but didn't at the same time. I wasn't blown away however the pizza was still very good, very fresh and ingredients were top notch. It's a place I would revisit and strongly recommend if you've never been or if you're visiting NY. The vibe was great and there's bus outside you can stand and eat in. However, I believe it is for customers who purchased slices and do not have a box. When we go back I want to try some of their desserts, we didn't really have the opportunity on our first visit. I look forward to giving this place a second look. read more
One of my fav pizzas in NY. Thank you to my friend who swore by it and took me! The fig pizza is sooo gyat damn good. Their soft serve with olive oil and a lil bit of salt is even better. Currently living in SF and I still crave, hope, and dream for L'industrie's pizza!! read more

An everyday slice. Don't get me wrong, the pizza isn't bad. But I would not say this is worth the line it usually has to get it. The staff is absolutely amazing dealing with that everyday and nice on top of it too. I think the space also does a good job at making it friendly for you to stay and finish your slice(s) but doesn't encourage people to linger as the line gets clogged up. It's bigger than you might think. Nice classic thin crust, I can tell their toppings are top quality the burrata one of the creamiest I've had, very fresh basil, and good goat cheese. Crispy under carriage, but I would say their base could be better (sauce and cheese-wise) as I could tell a lot of people around me, and myself, couldn't really finish with eating the full crust (and I'm a certified crust eater I don't like wasting food). But to eat the crust you need a good base which will carry you through that dry sauce-less land, which this just didn't have. It's good, but it's definitely not the best in New York no matter how many articles and videos try to convince you. The price ain't bad at all either, stop by when it's not busy. read more

Got lucky & arrived right when they opened so the line wasn't long. Hands down one of the best slices we got throughout our NY trip. Crust was light & crispy. Toppings were flavorful & not oily. read more
I went right before opening on Saturday, and there weren't many people in line. Even after they opened, it still wasn't too bad. I tried a few different slices, and my favorites were the Burrata and Tartufo. The Fig Jam one was a bit of a miss for me--maybe I expected too much, but it felt a little bland. The Tartufo was the standout though, really good mushroom flavor and a lot of depth. I also got a New Yorker slice, which was a bit smaller than a usual slice. I added hot honey, but honestly I think it's better without it. Their pistachio gelato was also great--not too sweet at all. It was the perfect way to finish after pizza. Really light, creamy, and just the right balance so it didn't feel heavy after eating. read more

Be prepared to wait for quite some time for this pizza but also know that it is really good pizza. Once you get inside, you order at the counter and try to find a place to sit/stand to wait for/eat your pizza. It will be very crowded but don't give up. There is also a bathroom! My friend and I got the burrata ($5.75), fig jam & bacon ($6.25), l'industrie ($7.50), and white ($4.25). Literally every single slice was fantastic. I don't think you can go wrong with picking any slice off the menu. Definitely worth at least one try! read more
Ok so we arrived at 11:20 and we were the first ones online. 20 minutes later this place had a serious line. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions! Inside is standing only if you choose to eat there. It feels like a pizza shop but they were blasting some club music which was a little odd but I guess the kitchen staff like it, I got the margarita slice, the le industrie slice and the burrata slice. All good, the crust is very thin and well cooked if you like that style. I'm glad we tried it! read more
Stopped by L'Industrie Pizza for a quick bite before they opened so we could beat the line (nobody really was there until 10 minutes prior to opening). Highly recommend! Burrata: $5.50 Fig jam & bacon: $6 (my favorite!) NY slice: $5.50 White pizza: $3.50 (tomato slices require a minimum of 2) Everything was very delicious, with high-quality ingredients and fast service despite a long-ish line. Space is tight, so it's more of a grab-and-go or quick stand-to-eat option. read more

I have long concluded that L'industrie is my favorite pizza spot in NYC and maybe the world! This location in Brooklyn is pretty busy and sparse of spots to eat and lounge, but nothing really matters once those slices get served! You order at the window and await the best pizza experience of your life. The line goes by fast and the team is really quick with it! Of their menu, my favorites are the classic Pepperoni and their famed Fig Jam! Their pepperoni is perfect- they curl up and are the perfect kind of crispy. The Fig Jam features fig jam, bacon, and goat cheese. The insane combo of sweet meets savory! Literally, you CANNOT miss this when you're in NYC! read more
This is the best pizza I've ever had. Definitely worth the effort and time. This pizza place has been in my Instagram feed for a while and I made a special trip from Philly on President's day with the hope that the line would not be crazy. I arrived there around 11:25 and there was a group of 4 ahead of me. I was ready to wait in the cold for some time by wearing layers of warm clothes. The staff was handing out the menu so the customers could make their selections prior to entering the store. I placed my order with the staff who was holding a tablet. She was efficient and nice. I ordered a soft serve. I wanted to pick it up after I finished my pizza so she said to look for her to get my soft serve. It is not a sit down pizzeria. There are high tables in the middle and along the wall to eat while standing. My pizza came fast. I got the burrata, burrata with prosciutto, fig jam and bacon. They are incredible. The crust is so thin and crispy. The burrata is so creamy. Fig jam and bacon is a perfect combination of sweet and salty. Three slices don't feel too heavy because they are so thin. Surely worth the wait in the cold. I got soft serve of hazelnut and pistachios. You can definitely taste the hazelnut but not the pistachio. The soft serve is drizzled with olive oil. read more

Maybe over a year ago, I visited the Manhattan location but didn't enjoy it much at the time. Air was filled with chatter, people standing really close to each other crowding inside and outside the space. I saw another person's comment that perfectly sums up my experience: it's only great if there's little to no line. This time when I visited the Williamsburg location mid afternoon, we were next in line as soon as we arrived. The burrata slice definitely hit the spot in that moment. Warm, crispy, greasy, creamy. The wait wasn't as long as the one in Manhattan and maybe that was what made the difference for me. If I were in the area, I'd swing by for a slice or two but I wouldn't go out of my way for it knowing I have local pizzerias in my own neighborhood that deserve the support just as much. read more
Today was the day I finally made my pilgrimage to the OG location of L'Industrie. Got there just before noon before the line began forming and I was the fourth on line to order. The place exuded a great vibe that really made it stand out. I ordered the white slice and tartufo slice. Both came within a few minutes and I was blown away by the texture and taste of both the toppings and the dough itself. The slices were well balanced and due to the fermentation was easy on the stomach and I ended up ordering a third slice before I left. This pizzeria really earns the accolades it has gotten from many people and groups like Top50 Pizza which named it the number one slice shop in the US two years in a row. This pizzeria is easily on my top 10 list for sure and it is the worth the trek. To the crew at L'Industrie, keep on making excellent pizza and be back again soon and hope to visit the West Village and Little Italy spots soon! read more
Coming here earlier in the morning side steps the rush :) pretty casual mostly standing spots, you can request a side of hot honey. Is it worth the hype? Yes its a place u must try, but purely for the quality of pizza. While when I personally did not taste much differences in the flavors except for the fig bacon and jam (which has a delicious sweet caramely flavour), i appreciate how the cheese isnt too pungent/overpowering. The crust is that thin crunch and chewy, perfect base not soggy. The olive oil cake is on the dry crumbly side rather than moist but has a rich olive oil flavor. Overall i would come back here for a magherita pizza where this place shines more in high quality ingredients of the pizza than flavor variety. read more

We visited on a late Saturday afternoon in May 2026. My son and girlfriend were visiting and wanted to try. This is not a sit down place. There are standing areas, very crowded, to stand and eat. High volume and no one is wiping off the counters or cleaning up, so kind of messy. We each got a slice: pepperoni, a New Yorker, and the L'Industrie. I liked the fresh basil on top although some did not appreciate that. My son put this slice as now one his top 3 pizza picks. His girlfriend thought it was really good. My dining partner, a native Newyorker, was not impressed. I thought it was very good, but would not necessarily go out of my way to get it. We had waited outside in line for about 30 mins before being allowed inside to order. Many tried to circumvent the line by just going in or using the side door, but staff was on it. Creative pies, fresh tasting ingredients, and a nice crust. But very crowded and waitimes can be long. read more

Love this place. Great pizza offering with a variety of tempting options. We got slices of the burrata and the fig, both were delicious. They also have a nice selection of desserts - baked goods, gelato and sorbet, but we were too full to try them. The interior was less cramped than I expected based on reviews. Plenty of space to stand at the counter in the air conditioned inside or there are tables outside. Would definitely come back if I was in the area. read more
Josh Hart was right - this pizza is bomb. Stopped in for a couple slices and this might be the best pizza I've had. Loved the melted burrata on the pizza and the hot chili oil you can add is soooo good. Tartufo slice was amazing too. Would come back for a full pie! read more

very disappointing and overrated :, ( we went around noon on a wednesday and there was a 15 minute wait, which is crazy to me. ig that's just new york for you the spicy salami slice was not great it tasted like they cooked the pizza and just added salami pieces to the slice as an afterthought. the new yorker was slightly better, but that's just because i like ricotta and sausage. they were very frugal with the ricotta pieces on the slice, though, like why did we only get four MINISCULE dots of ricotta on the slice i felt so scammed. overall, very average, in my opinion it's very similar to joe's pizza, the most average NY slice, so i don't really get the hype. i could be convinced to try the fig jam and bacon slice but only if someone else got it for me and i didn't have to wait for it. read more
Delicious quick bite! Standing room only but the pizza comes quick and doesn't disappoint. The workers are very friendly and helpful too. My favorite is the fig and goat cheese, but any marinara slice with the hot honey will be amazing. This time I got the carrot cake which was super good, but last time I had the olive oil cake and I think the olive oil cake takes the cake :) read more

Is it blasphemous to say? But this is the best pizza slice in NYC. I absolutely love this spot. The crust has the perfect firmness. The cheese to sauce ratio is great. And the flavor doesn't miss. The line form even before the open. But it moves fast. read more
