Dr. Yousefi is the literal best. Originally, I had come here about 3 years ago and got a great prescription and my eye-life was great. About a year ago, I didn't want to make the trek to Century City and instead did a quick Costco Optometry appointment. WORST decision ever. The prescription was off, the whole year I felt like things just weren't 'right' and just had a generally uncomfortable eye experience (which is the worst). Few days ago, stopped by here again, and Dr. Yousefi ran some quick tests (some I've never even seen before), and 20 minutes later I had a great new prescription, some try-out contact lens (3 brands!), and a great experience. Overall, more than happy with Dr. Yousefi and will be back! read more

My partner woke up without a contact. Not good when on a long vacation! Back on the east coast, when this happens, an eye store (Warby, Lens, Costco, etc.) will give you a sample if you have a valid eye prescription on you with proof updated insurance. Not the case here. Terrible customer service--if you even want to call it that. The admin was kind and helpful. The admin explained to us that we would need to wait until 10:30AM and speak to the doctor. We waited the 30 minutes to just be pushed to the side by both the manager and doctor. Rude. Take the time to explain the protocol to us and not just yell it while you are getting ready for the day--not our fault you were late to work and unorganized. We went to the side to pull our prescription, easy. Showed it and they stated that they needed a doctor's name and license number. In addition, we'd have to buy a case of lenses. Not very upfront with the their rules and when we called another Lens location...this is apparently not the proper protocol. read more

Absolutely amazing. I was not disappointed coming to this LensCrafters location inside Macy's century city mall. The staff is always friendly and helpful with whatever you need or want. Customer service 10/10. They definitely helped with choosing the best glasses for me out of the great selection of frames they have. Optometrist Shirin Yousefi is absolutely the BEST to schedule your appointment with. Not only is she highly experienced, wonderful, and friendly. She takes her time with you to make sure you are comfortable and walk out with the perfect prescription that is best for you. Worst eye doctor ever. She has a terrible attitude and literally charged me for an exam, but did not write me a contact lens prescription, and that was the entire reason of my appointment. She rushed the appointment and wasn't able to determine my prescription correctly. Yet she still took my money for the full exam. Now it is incredibly difficult to get a hold of the doctor there and even if you contact the management, they say you directly to the doctor for a refund. This is a very shady clinic. And I intend to file a board complaint against . It was also very dirty there too. It is very clear that she does enough time for each client and she also does not book enough time to clean in between patients either. I would strongly suggest to stay away from this place or anywhere that that eye doctor is on staff. She also was very mean to her own staff members and made the entire situation. Very awkward for the whole appointment. If I could add zero stars I would and now it is an entire mess trying to track down this doctor to get a refund. So pretty much she is a scam artist. She charges you for a eye exam and then can't even provide the prescription yet expects you to pay and she seems to think it's OK to treat her patients like their appointment and prescription doesn't matter, even though she isn't even able to do her job correctly. Furthermore I have been getting terrible headaches and migraines and I told her that that would be the case if she wrote me the wrong prescription. I told her that I have been through this before and did not want to have to go through it again. I have only gone through this when I compromise in pricing to go to a clinic. That is the funny thing is normally I would never be caught dead at a LensCrafters, but it has been a difficult year so I decided to give them a chance yet her arrogance she thinks that she is working somewhere else other than LensCrafters. So it is very interesting. The terrible service that she provides in combination with her high-level of arrogance and the terrible ways that she treats her patients. I strongly suggest to go to Moto optical in Marina Del Rey, where they will never treat you like that although it is more expensive they actually provide you a quality prescription and you don't have to worry about being ripped off. read more

I brought my Ray-Ban's there for an adjustment because the screw came out of the hinge and the lens popped out and they adjusted it for me and fixed it. Shady business practices. I received an eye exam here in June of 2020. This was my first visit to this location as the one that I used before on Beverly had been closed due to looting. I was charged $160 for my eye exam and issued my contacts no problem. Fast forward 3 months. I lost my remaining contacts, so I went back to the store for an emergency restock. The clerk who later identified himself as the supervisor, attempted to look up my account. He found no record of me in the system. Luckily I had my prescription with me as proof. He seemed baffled and confused by the prescription I presented and denied me my refill because he said that I had "another part" of prescription that was needed as well. So now I'm out $160 for nothing and can't see. They refused my prescription that they issued themselves and kept my fee for the eye exam which makes no sense since I cannot use it there. I will now have to report these charges as fraudulent and find a professional optometrist. read more

Five days ago, I invested a significant amount of time and energy at the Lens Crafters within Macy's, meticulously selecting frames and discussing lens options for two pairs of glasses. Today, I received a wrong frame with wrong prescription order. I am extremely disappointed by the inadequate service provided by an inexperienced representative and the store manager, Lena. Despite Lena's kind offer to reorder lenses with the correct prescription, I later discovered they had also selected the wrong frame for me. With the wrong prescription-related stress, I didn't realize that the frame I received was not the light blue one I had chosen, nor was it from the brand I had selected. I will call the store to fix the problem. It is an exhausting experience. I usually don't write Yelp reviews, but I just want to share my unpleasant service experience. read more

Dr. Shirin has a bubbly and sweet demeanor with such patience. I always get stressed out having my eye exam when it's time to answer "which do you see more clearly"....I often have to go back and forth so many times to be certain. She took such great care of me. She even took the time to research if they were able to get a mui mui frame I had been looking for, in stock. When we found it was discontinued, she had picked others that were similar. The office has all the state of the art equipment, to not only make sure I had the right glasses but also to ensure the health of my eyes also. Terrible customer service and unprofessional doctors (Of course not all of them) I got the wrong and incorrect prescription. Visiting another doctor and also pay double for my new lenses to replace the wrong one with new prescription is cost me a lot of money and on top of that spending time back and forth to solve the problem is the worst part. Had a wonderful experience here. I've been wearing glasses for almost 20 years and have been thinking about getting contacts. Dr. Yousefi gave me all the info I needed and was INCREDIBLLYYYYY patient with me as she trained me on getting the contacts in and out. She was so encouraging and helpful, and have I mentioned patient?? I work up the road so this was just convenient for me but I'll probably come back here in the future. This year was my first experience with any LensCrafters location and I absolutely loved it! I have had many optometrists over the last 15 years but Dr. Yousefi was the first to make me feel comfortable in understanding the changes in my vision and exactly what each test is for. She and her team are very knowledgeable and are great with helping you pick out the perfect glasses! My first appointment in January 2019, I had the last appointment of the day so it the check-up was pretty quick but Armita was super patient in helping me pick out the perfect frames. I felt like treating myself to some nice designer glasses and she helped me pick out the perfect Versace frame that fit my style and color suited my skin tone! With my insurance covering some of the cost, I paid about $500 for the designer frames, lenses thinning and blue light filter, and insurance on my frames (because I had horrible luck with my glasses in 2018). Honestly, with something that's going to be on my face every day, that didn't seem too much of a cost for something I really liked and they definitely have other selection of frames in the lower price ranges! I have my upcoming annual appointment - can't wait to see what they help me pick out this year! Location/Parking: I personally love Westfield Century City and am there at least once a week (I don't even work at the mall). If you are not familiar with the mall and its many parking entrances, depending on the time of day, it could be a frustrating parking experience. Otherwise it's great and you get an hour for free! When I walked in the staff was warm and inviting followed by the Doctor coming in and suggesting pictures of my eyes including Retina. Luckily I took her up on pictures of the back of my eyes as I was found to have Macular Degeneration. I was gonna pay 400-600 dollars for my whole year eye contacts. I've been a client with LensCrafters for over 20 years. Been to many branches throughout California. This is one of the most pleasant experiences that I've had in a while. I showed up 15 minutes late due to work and Dr. Yousefi was very understandable with my situation and didn't make me feel bad about the tardiness. After filling out the forms it didn't take long before I was inside the room getting the exam. I've been in situations where I waited 30 minutes for the first half and an additional 20 to see the doctor. I like Dr. Yousefi's style. She is professional and approachable. It was like seeing a friend I haven't seen in years even though it was the first time we ever met. She was honest and truthful about my contact lenses and suggested what was best for my eyes rather then carrying over the same prescription I've had for the last 15 years. (Who knew that the 2 weeks weren't working for me and that either monthly or dailies would be best for me). I have many bad habits with contact wearing. I've experienced being lectured, the nagging, the disappointment, all of it. She treated me like an adult and just made sure I understood the risks. I wasn't sure if I'm going to do either monthly or dailies. She gave me a weeks worth of dailies to try out and a pair of monthlies. Really happy with the service I received with her. I went in for an eye exam today and was very impressed with the service I received. They have a bunch of brand-new, state-of-the-art machines to test and scan your eyes...very high-tech! And Dr. Trang Ha, the optometrist, is excellent. She was super nice, extremely thorough, and she took the time to answer all of my questions. If you need glasses/sunglasses, there's a large selection to choose from in the store. AND...they offer a generous AAA discount on eye exams and eyeglasses. I walked in to get my Eye glasses tightened. Maria was helping a customer before me. That customer was afraid of Maria's adjusting techniques. It did not worry me because I thought it might be a different type of adjustment being done. The customer stopped her and said she was afraid of the technique and walked out.When she went to adjust my glasses she warned me that the store doesn't take responsibility if they break during her adjustment which was a little scary but I didn't actually get scared until her technique was completely different from the other three times I had my glasses tightened. she was not aware Of the similar technique that all the other previous associates used. I heard a crack so I asked her to stop and took my glasses. I will find another shop however this is convenient to my workplace so it was disappointing that she didn't have a lot of experience and or a good handling of glasses. read more
