There was a mix-up with scheduling but thanks to Shelby and her professionalism, they were able to rectify the situation and actually tend to me sooner than I had anticipated. I worked with Stacey, the unit manager, who helped me select a pair of glasses that was both comfortable and unique to my taste. Her expert opinion and service made for a quick and comfortable experience that made the visit well worth the trip from Pickerington. I have to go back to pick them up and am looking forward to working with them again. They are always busy at this location. I was able to get help to order my glasses and returned back within a few weeks to pick them up. I long for the old days when they could make the glasses in a few hours while you shop at the mall. Good selection of frames and they take my eye insurance which is a plus. read more

Ordered my new glasses and sunglasses here at LensCrafters. I was very pleased with the upfront service in getting my glasses ordered. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Was told it would be 7-10 days for glasses to come in. I would receive a text when they were in. I promptly received a text within that 10 day window. Upon arrival, only the sunglasses came in. It took over 3 weeks to get my eye glasses in. After many phone calls (no calls back except for today), was told different reasons why they had not come in. The biggest reason they were delivered to the wrong store. it took almost a week to get them to the correct store. I am forgiving of service drops when there is an attempt to remedy. Unfortunately no attempt at service pick up here beyond any apology. Unfortunate! read more

I had my eye exam 4 months ago and purchased glasses $450 for the glasses. I have had to go back four times to get them tightened as the pin that holds the glasses together becomes constantly loose or falls out. Had to go back today as a decorative piece fell off the frame. The associate was nice but informed me my best bet was to get another frame at $450.00? This is totally unacceptable as a valued customer. There was no other option but for me to have a nice day with defective glasses I need to see. I will go back to Ohio Optical - I will no longer do business with lens crafters and neither will my Family. To have a well known brand not stand behind their product and not take care of their clientele should be a warning for all - they only care about a sale and not the person. I've been getting my glasses at LensCrafters since I got out of college (oh how I miss the vision benefits there!!!) and they have on the whole been pretty good. For some years now the co-pay with our insurance has been around $10 with a certain percentage off the frames and lens. They were good for a few years and then the last time I got glasses I had to go back and forth with them for several visits until they got the placement of my lens right and even then they weren't quite right. So I went to a glass place downstairs (review of them coming up later) and they adjusted them once and BAM! Perfect. Well...we have new vision insurance now - VSP - and the exam co-pay doubled and what's worse is that they are out of network with the plan so whatever discount I could get would be tiny if that much. And here I thought they took just about every plan on the planet. Guess it's time to find another place to go then. read more

I come here for my eye exams. I just waited over 40 minutes to then myself approach the front desk to reschedule my appointment. If a business is that behind on appointments they should tell their clients upon showing up what the wait is like. I don't appreciate paying a babysitter and then waiting that long for an appt and not being told they overbooked themselves. read more

Had a great experience there yesterday! I needed to get some sunglasses fixed, the staff was named Ama I believe and she was pleasant, polite and fixed them for free. While I was there a gentleman walked in looking for his wife and he described her and Ama asked her name and she remembered her by name and where she went after she left the store. With so many gimmicks these days it's nice to just get great customer service I would recommend this location to anybody! read more

Very disappointed with my experience today at LensCrafters in Polaris. I went there for an eye appointment to get new glasses. When I registered they asked for my medical card but I didn't think much about it. When I came out after my appointment they told me I had a $20 co-pay. My vision insurance does not have a co-pay so I questioned it. They said because the doctor told me I had "dry eyes" that they were billing an extra $120 through my medical insurance and I had to pay a $20 co-pay. Beyond frustrated and walked out of there with no glasses. Would definitely not recommend LensCrafters! Shady if you ask me! read more

Went to pick up my glasses and I took my receipt back in knowing they charge to much. I had talk to the insurance company and they told me my out of pocket amount. LensCrafters employees argued with me and told me I was wrong and they were correct! No refund call insurance company back and they help me more then LensCrafters. Insurance company will be calling home office in morning and get this taken care of. Since the customer was wrong and they were correct. Never will go back to them for glasses! I've been going to this Lenscrafters for years. The attached doctor's office completes my exam, then right away the Lenscrafters staff are always very courteous and helpful. I have waited a few times (it is a very busy store) but someone at least says "I'll be with you in a few minutes" or something. No pressure, good understanding of insurance coverage. read more

I walked in and was able to get an eye exam and new glasses. The service was outstanding and the people there very friendly. The Dr, during the exam, really paid attention to what my needs were and made sure prescription was precise. The staff there assisted me in checking out my glasses and also paid attention to my son. I walked in to the LensCrafters at Polaris. They informed me my prescription was expired. They were correct. Told me I need to see my doctor for an updated prescription. I told them I had no doctor, and that I had my (now expired) prescription filled at an optical store in the mall that has now gone out of business. I'm standing with the sales rep, holding an expired prescription, and I say: "Since my other optical store went out of business, I don't know where to go to get my eyes examined." Did she even OFFER to tell me how I could schedule an eye exam at Lenscrafters? No! So I said, "Well, since you don't offer eye exams, I guess I'll have to find someplace to go." She responds, "Yeah, we do exams." Didn't offer to make an appt. for me or tell me how I could make an appt. since the sales reps are not allowed to schedule them. Unreal. Went downstairs to Opticnerve. Told the guy the same story about not having a place to get examined. He about knocked over the counter, ran to the computer and said, "We do exams! Let's get you scheduled for an appointment!" The people at the Polaris LensCrafters are total idiots. The only thing they cared about was that it was 8pm and they only had an hour left to work. Typical American worker...they just don't care! And people wonder why businesses are outsourcing to Mexico, India, and China. read more

I can't speak to lenses, eye exams, frame selection or any of that; but I can speak to the professionalism of several of the people I met on a busy Saturday at the Polaris location. Earlier that morning I managed to step on - and virtually destroy - my main pair of glasses, and my regular optometrist's office was not due to open until Monday. I stopped by Polaris LensCrafters and asked if there was anything they could do. The main associate I spoke to (Laurie I think?) said she thought she could. She disappeared in to the back for a few minutes, and lo and behold, later reappeared with the frames fixed. Total cost: $0.00. Since they have a larger selection of frames than my regular optometrist, I just might have my prescription sent over so I can get a pair of back up glasses! read more

I came in for an eye exam to get fitted for eye glasses and contact lenses. I was greeted by Jadra who immediately came to assist me. Asked if i had a dr appt and introduced me to the front desk personnel. I completed my paperwork and was referred back to Lenscrafters to look at frames until my appt. I met w Jadra again and Belkin, who introduced herself to me, they have me a tray to collect the frames i was interested in until after my appt. After my appt, i was introduced to Sam. Jadra retrieved my tray and Sam helped me with the rest. He helped me look at different frame options. He was extremely helpful and friendly. He went through the whole process with me, explained my insurance benefits and what they offered for glasses as I had already bought contacts from the Dr's ofc. He was very knowledgeable and kind, but professional. I have never had such a good experience when looking for glasses then at this location and company. I didn't feel anxious, lost or uncomfortable like i usually do bc of the people who were working with me. Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience guys! read more
