Came in for my eye exam with Dr. Phlong. Upon arriving I was greeted and told to sign in. The front staff were very friendly and informative. Due to the new years rush I did have to wait about 15 minutes past my appointment time but everyone was apologetic and once my name was called it was a smooth and thorough appointment. I went to Lens. Crafters in the Pavilion in Fayetteville looking specifically for some Ray Ban Meta glasses for my wife. They had them on the display but the sales woman let us know this particular model was unavailable. She let us know that they are out of stock. I asked if she could check other Lens Crafters and was told she did and that no one had them. My wife asked if she could be put on a call list so that when some came in she could be notified. She took my wife's information and sent us on our way. We left the Pavilion and went straight to Cumberland Mall to go to the Apple Store. We also went into the Lens Crafters there and they had the Metas my wife was looking for....the same ones that the Pavillion said were out of stock and that no one had them. This rating is for my visit today. I've been coming here for an annual check up, as well as to get eyeglasses. For those who may not be aware Lenscrafters used to have the latest and more fashionable eyeglasses in the industry. Since Luxottica moved their brand new warehouse to McDonough- things have changed. First, the personable feel when u walk in is gone. The see thru windows have now been glazed because there is no one working in the lab. The lab moved to McDonough and all the work is done there. So, when u walk in no lab. The eye apppintment from Dr. Lazaj was scheduled and I was seen on time. The eye exam was normal and I was seen right away. I went to Lenscrafters located at 160 Pavilion Pkwy Fayetteville, GA to get an exam and order a pair of glasses.. At lenscrafters, They had an onsite optician to do the exam. I received the exam, picked out glasses and purchased them.. 10 days later they called and let me know my glasses and contacts were in. I went to pick them up and when I put them on, it was obvious that the prescription was not correct. The glasses were verilux so there were three fields of vision; far, center and close. The center and close are fine, the far or normal is blurry and fuzzy. I brought this to the customer service reps attention and was told to "Wear them for a week or two and see if that helps". So I did. Well, it didn't help, so I returned to the center and asked to have the exam and glasses redone under their unconditional guarantee. I was told at that point that there would be a $45 "refraction" fee to schedule another exam.. I was surprised at this, "My glasses weren't made correctly and you want to charge me another fee to fix it", I asked. I was told that that was the Dr's policy and if I didn't like it, I could return the glasses.. I told the customer service rep that I would rather them fix their mistake and give me the glasses I ordered, but they insisted on charging me a fee to fix their mistake. At that point, I returned my purchase and left the store.. I went to make another appointment at another place and was told I'm not eligible for another exam until 2021. Please note: I paid everything that they asked. I received a product that was not correct. I asked them to correct it and was told I had to pay more money. I returned the defective products. Now I need to go somewhere else and get the glasses I need, but I can't because the place that gave me the defective products took my vision benefits. ALL I WANT IS A CORRECT PAIR OF GLASSES AND NOT BE CHARGED EXTRA FEES. read more

We were in town for a family medical emergency, and needed a pair of glasses urgently. We walked in without calling ahead, and without an appointment. We were greeted immediately and attended to right away. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. When we explained our situation, they were willing to expedite our order, and we had glasses in less than an hour. They had the frames and lenses in stock that we needed, and didn't try to sell us anything additional. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. read more

If I could these people a 0 I would. Terrible facility they will take your money. Go somewhere else they are contracted and very unprofessional. Save your self a visit. I called 9x back to back from my personal number that they have on file (NO ANSWER)!!!!! I used another number they didn't have on file then BOOOM I get a freaking answer from the receptionist. I advised her I was a cash patient and didn't receive all of my criteria when paid $180.00 up front for everything. The doctor Thomas Lezaj said I could go online buy my glasses and contacts with these documents given after examination. I did exactly what he said and trusted his word I could go online no hassle and order from there. I get stopped at check out to ask my "PD" that I knew nothing about because this isn't my profession. I wasted time and money to still need follow up service from this facility. The receptionist stated to me "go online and figure out your order PD" we don't do that here you should of went on the sales floor to ask them your PD before leaving". WHAT TYPE OF STATEMENT IS THAT TO SAY TO A PATIENT. This company gets your money and then don't answer your calls once they are done and lie lie lie. Now I have to go spend money else where to get a PD. read more

The doctor did not arrive to the office until 10a, so my son and I waited in the exam room (after our preliminary assessment) for nearly an hour. My partner's glasses were stolen while vacationing so we had to grab a pair of glasses as soon as possible. The options of glasses were plentiful and the glasses were ready in 90 minutes. I recently went to this LensCrafters and I will NOT be returning. I first went in because I needed a new pair of glasses. I had a prescription that had not expired, so I came here. That experience was fine and I had no problems at all. So, i was thinking "I think I'll come here from now on". I spoke too soon. I decided to go back and get an eye exam for contacts. I was very clear with the girl at the desk as well as the doctor that I was only here to get an exam (because I hadn't used my benefits) and to get my contacts prescription. I told them this when I first arrived, more than once, so if this wasn't going to be able to be done, then that was the time to tell me...correct? So, to make a long story short...at the end of the appointment, all of a sudden their telling me that the doctor won't release my prescription. Mind you...had I been purchasing some from them that day, they would have had no problems releasing it. Then they claim, well since they are gas perms that's why we can't release them. So I say "Fine, just give me the soft lens prescription then." Then all of a sudden it was, well we can't give you those either because we haven't seen you in those. My problem is this. If I told you right out of the gate what I was here for, then why would you not tell me from the beginning that you would not be able to give me my prescription? First of all, it's illegal to even withhold a patient's prescription. What they were really trying to make me do is order from then because she then said, well you can come back in January (that's when benefits start again) you can use your benefits to order and then you can get your prescription. Had I been ordering from them, none of this would have ever happened I'm sure. At this point, I would rather get myself another exam and pay out of pocket than give this LenCrafters ANY additional money. I have worn contacts literally for over 20 years and I have NEVER had this problem at all. I will not return here. read more
