    Fixed Frames!

Amazing! My glasses were accidentally crushed after an outdoor run. I called this LensCrafters as a last ditch effort to see if they could do anything. Knowing it was last minute and I did not purchase glasses from this store I believed my chances were slim. I spoke with Lauren, who may have been the manager. She was very helpful, greeted us at the door and remember me from calling earlier about the request. She informed me she would do her best to fix my crushed frames. Not even 20 minutes later she emerged from the back of the store with my fixed frames. I was thrilled. Amazing efforts and service! These are my main and favorite frames. I thought they were gone forever! Thanks to Lauren, they fit better than before!!!

I've always had a good experience with this LensCrafters. I had LASIK eye surgery several years ago, so I get an eye exam here once a year just to check-up and make sure my prescription is holding up. So far, so good! I always have an easy time getting scheduled for my exams and getting in and out of the actual exams quickly. The staff has always been a breeze to work with. A couple of years ago I was having some trouble with computer screens. I work a desk job, so I'm looking at a computer 8 to 9 hours a day. My doctor recommended reading glasses to assist my eyes in dealing with all of the screens, so I got them from this LensCrafters. The process was quick and easy, and I had no issues. I still have the glasses now, and they're great! I plan to take them in soon to be tightened and cleaned. I actually haven't done that since I purchased them, but they are just starting to get a bit loose. If you're looking for a spot for an eye exam, or to pick up glasses or contacts, I definitely recommend this LensCrafters!

I went to Lenscrafters in Oxmoor and a young man, Ray, greeted me and I told him my sad story showing him the pitiful pair of glasses.

The girl I spoke to on the phone was so uninterested and indifferent about my frustration and kept talking over me and projected my frustration back on me. I called the office was was told by the receptionist that she didn't know if the manager, Priscilla, was in or not because she "stays in her office." I left a voicemail and called back a half hour later. I asked Priscilla who she reports to and she spoke over me then hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to her again. She said she didn't have to be nice to "people like me" and that I was being rude to her, despite her hanging up on me. I asked her to explain the charges and why they were sending a statement a year after the service and it being paid in full at the time. I asked why no one is holding billing (which is her) accountable. She told me again that I needed to pay it or she didn't care what I did at that point. I asked her what she meant and she hung up on me again.

Despite being an optometrist and eyeglasses store for primarily adults, they were very gentle and kind with my son. Dr. Martorana explained what he was doing along the way. The only part my son did not like was getting his eyes dilated, as you pretty much can imagine. But they were patient with him and helped him through it. And after we were done, they showed him the toy drawer, where he was able to pick out a few items to take home. (The highlight of the day for my son.) I scheduled my annual visit to be right after my son's, and they were helpful to give me the care I needed while also being efficient with the visit, considering I had my son in tow. Falls City Eye Care has a curated selection of eyeglasses, in which I saw several I would like. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Customer service, empathy or concern for actually following their own established policies seems to be selective. At the very minimum the staff is rude and biased. At the horrendously worst they are racially judgmental. Speaking very calm I was told that I was getting loud and angry. Immediately I was told that no longer discussion was warranted and that I needed to talk to the office manager due to my "heated and loud" demeanor. I deal in conflict management daily at my job and even informed the clerk that I was displeased at the situation, but that a disagreeing perspective does not equate to loud or even angry in tone. I have had mixed experiences with the staff during my 15 plus years of treatment, but have never been treated like this. There generally has been a feeling of greater than thou or elitism instead of an everyone is welcome attitude. I at first equated that to having government insurance. I now have exceptional corporate insurance and treatment was not any different. I would have left and went elsewhere a long time ago if not for the care I received from my doctor. Dr. Woodruff has always been incredibly kind and caring. However, I will not be stereotyped. I am the very last to bring classism, race or any other type of prejudiced accusations into a situation unjustly but today's experience was putrid. To the office's credit, I could have been seen and dealt with the attitudes if I myself had been to my appointment exactly on time or early. That is on me. I fully take that responsibility. Oh well. I may make a BBB complaint as well but there are plenty other eyecare facilities. My treatment will have to be postponed for another month or so and I am thankful it wasn't excessively, medically urgent. Except for possibly picking up my records; I will NOT be back her again. Sad.
