I keep calling but the billing lady is always out of office or the office is closed/on lunch? My appointment in itself was an absolute tragedy. I've been going to the eye doctor for over 15 years so I have a pretty good idea of how an appointment should run. I first go to do the basic eye testing (little house on prairie machine...pics of the eyes etc.) the doctors assistant running my tests had no idea what she was doing. She didn't tell me to take my contacts out and when I said something she just handed me a contact case and some empty contact solution bottle. No sink, no form of sanitation, no mirror, NOTHING. When I saw actual optometrist everything was fine...but the check out process was a NIGHTMARE. No one in the office knew how to run insurance, they forgot my credit card in the back room twice, they did t know how to give me a receipt, and this entire process took over an hour! I paid for my contacts but have yet to receive anything and it's been over a MONTH. The lady that does the billing is never in the office because everytime I've tried to call to check on the status of my contacts she's never there!! And she never calls me back! I just want my contacts. I hope they see this and finally get back to me. Last time I called was today at 1:30 and the voicemail box said they were "on lunch"??? Ridiculous.

Despite being an optometrist and eyeglasses store for primarily adults, they were very gentle and kind with my son. Dr. Martorana explained what he was doing along the way. The only part my son did not like was getting his eyes dilated, as you pretty much can imagine. But they were patient with him and helped him through it. And after we were done, they showed him the toy drawer, where he was able to pick out a few items to take home. (The highlight of the day for my son.) I scheduled my annual visit to be right after my son's, and they were helpful to give me the care I needed while also being efficient with the visit, considering I had my son in tow. Falls City Eye Care has a curated selection of eyeglasses, in which I saw several I would like. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Even prior to all that, this was my choice for eye care though. Everyone on the team is caring, helpful and has the best interest of your vision at heart. Working quite a bit with Billy, he's my guy when I have to unexpectedly stop in here. He's always so supportive as to what I have going on, he listens, and truly understands that glasses are pricey, and it's important to be comfortable and seeing well! Not to mention, he's always smiling! During my last yearly checkup I had a change in my script, I ordered glasses that just weren't working for me. I stopped in, (for like the 3rd time lol) Billy and the team chatted with the doc and my script was being taken back to the previous one (I believe my eyes were just having a OFF day, when I tested the month before) Without questions, they were on it, and getting my lenses replaced. The frame selection is massive at this location. (You will have a hard time finding just one pair!) The store is ALWAYS remarkably clean, the atmosphere is warm, Staff is constant and friendly, (no matter how many times you bug them) they understand glasses are expensive and they want you to be pleased. Always willing to listen to my concerns and questions. I got cataracts at an early age (compared to most ) and Dr Taustine did my surgeries. And all I can say is thank you Dr T for giving me my sight back. I have always been really near-sighted with a lot of astigmatism and I'm now basically 20/25 in both eyes. It's such a joy to wake up in the morning and to be able to just see! Nothing blurry or fuzzy. It's amazing! These people are true professionals and are always wanting you to have the best outcome of either your visit or your surgery. I can't recommend them enough!
