I was referred to this practice by my regular eye doctor, Dr. Smith at SVS Vision in Clarksville,…read morefor a thorough annual glaucoma check. This practice has four buildings (from what I noticed) at the 1407 Spring St location in Jeffersonville. I think the fourth building might just be administrative or something because I did not see it labeled. However, the other three buildings are very clearly labeled (Bldg 1 seems to be for eye exams and check-ups. Bldg 2 seems to be for minor procedures and selecting your eye wear. Bldg 3 seems to be for LASIK surgery. When SVS Vision made my first appointment for me, they made sure to ask which building my appointment would be in, so when I arrived I knew exactly where to proceed. This office is very modernized, even though they have check-in desks, patients actually check-in at the available kiosks. At these kiosks you scan your driver's license or ID card, your insurance card, and payment card directly into the space available on the kiosk. I have been to this practice twice, once in Bldg 1 and once in Bldg 2. My doctor is very knowledgeable, thorough and is direct, which I prefer. I like him a lot. My wait time was average, nothing to complain about. Of the two buildings I have visited, both were super clean, which is important to me. The other staff members I interacted with were pleasant enough and helpful.

To date I still do not have eye glasses. The prescription was incorrect. Instead of correcting the prescription they returned eye ware to vendor. I had to call 3 weeks later to find out when I would receive. I went back in and of course the prescription was still incorrect. I requested a refund. No returned call so I filed a dispute with citi card. Still waiting for refund Customer service here is does not exist. My husbands prescription was also incorrect. Big red flags

This review is nothing against the quality of medical care. However, this office is needs to be…read morecompletely retrained. Customer service, empathy or concern for actually following their own established policies seems to be selective. At the very minimum the staff is rude and biased. At the horrendously worst they are racially judgmental. Speaking very calm I was told that I was getting loud and angry. Immediately I was told that no longer discussion was warranted and that I needed to talk to the office manager due to my "heated and loud" demeanor. I deal in conflict management daily at my job and even informed the clerk that I was displeased at the situation, but that a disagreeing perspective does not equate to loud or even angry in tone. I have had mixed experiences with the staff during my 15 plus years of treatment, but have never been treated like this. There generally has been a feeling of greater than thou or elitism instead of an everyone is welcome attitude. I at first equated that to having government insurance. I now have exceptional corporate insurance and treatment was not any different. I would have left and went elsewhere a long time ago if not for the care I received from my doctor. Dr. Woodruff has always been incredibly kind and caring. However, I will not be stereotyped. I am the very last to bring classism, race or any other type of prejudiced accusations into a situation unjustly but today's experience was putrid. To the office's credit, I could have been seen and dealt with the attitudes if I myself had been to my appointment exactly on time or early. That is on me. I fully take that responsibility. Oh well. I may make a BBB complaint as well but there are plenty other eyecare facilities. My treatment will have to be postponed for another month or so and I am thankful it wasn't excessively, medically urgent. Except for possibly picking up my records; I will NOT be back her again. Sad.

Dr. Woodruff is great and works with you to get the best vision you can. I had to try a few different manufacturers of contact lenses to find a new, good fit! i would recommend them for your eye care needs!
