The person who waited on me had NO clue what they we're doing and we're not informed on any programs or discounts. I ordered my glasses. I went back at had another sales person who managed to find me $210 in discount. The glasses they sold me were completely inferior. The lens coating started to come off in less than a year, causing a coating on the glasses that I could not get off. The frames broke in less than a year and they would not guarantee them even though I had a one year guarantee. Do not go to this place. No one has any idea what they're doing. They are not professionals and the sales people take demo classes off the rack and then they sell them to you. Overpriced unprofessional. read more

They are overpriced even with discounts and hold your pupillary distance hostage so you can't order an emergency poor of glasses until your benefits roll over. Very disappointed in the service and attitude around my information. read more

The coating they put on the lenses are inferior. They will not make good on fixing this issue. I believe the is a defective procedure and they admit this has happen before. Although, the warranty has expired, they will not fix it. Another individual has the same problem. They do not live up to my expectations. They want you to buy new glasses. Service is horrendous, I stood there for Over 1/2 an hour and watched people coming in after me being over serviced, even after I told the 2 women who work there that I need help. Rude service! I called to make sure they could have glasses done today. They said as long as you choose by 5, it's fine. I got there, showed them my prescription and they said the same thing. So, I went through the store quickly and picked two pairs by 4:30. They then informed me the lab tech was leaving early, and it would not be done today completely without apology. This terrible customer service and turnaround is EXACTLY why I will go online for glasses from now on at a cheaper store. I wish they had told me the first two times I asked that they couldn't do it. Where to begin? They limit 6 people in the store because of COVID -- fine. It's the law. It doesn't bother me. I wait 15-20 minutes to come in and the sales associate approaches me asking what I was there for. I said just to browse frames. She told me there were more important customers and that I should come back another time. What? More important customers? We all have two eyes right? Is this lady expecting a family of spiders to come in after me? Don't shop here. That was just the beginning. They don't deserve your business. I called ahead to learn about the protocols and the gentleman , Jeff, who answered was just that a gentleman. He explained the expectations and answered my questions. When I arrived the staff was polite, courteous and welcoming. They worked well together and offered suggestions. For the first time in years, the process of finding and ordering new glasses was a pleasure. The staff was knowledgeable about my insurance coverage and did not pressure me to upgrade. The staff and doctors that give the eye exams at Rathjens are so so nice. I really enjoy my exam everytime. Unfortunately they are completely separate from the actual LensCrafters store part where you try on glasses. The staff in that area are so inattentive and rude. There was a fake blonde lady that recently helped me - she was so cocky and acted like a know it all I should have just walked out. She talked down to other customers and would barely give anyone the time of day unless they were buying something. I needed glasses so she turned into a totally different person but then talked about other customers with other employees as I was sitting there. Very unprofessional. My glasses are the worse fitting I have ever had so she obviously doesn't know what she's doing. The glasses are going back but I'm going to a different LensCrafters for sure. I had an eye exam and purchased glasses the doctor was very through and friendly. When I was fitted for glasses the saleswoman was very patient and friendly. I also took advantage of the promos and saved a substantial amount on the purchases. I would absolutely recommend LensCrafters. read more

Never again. My experience in store was actually good, but that is where it goes down hill fast. Glasses there now take a minimum of a week to order (Had I know this before the eye exam I would have just gone elsewhere). The store offered to overnight the glasses to another location as they arrived after I left on vacation. I gave them the dates I would be in the area and made it clear that they have to arrive before I leave or there is no point in shipping them. The staff then sent them by UPS ground and they will arrive 2 day after I leave to return home. When I called them to get tracking they said they don't actually offer overnight shipping. So basically the issues are really slow service and the staff lies and makes promises they have no intention of keeping. I can't comment on the quality of the eye exam as I still have yet to receive glasses with the new prescription. read more

Do not use this location for an eye exam! The people who work here are very rude and unprofessional like I have never seen before. The two technicians were complaining about the call outs and schedules of other employees in front of patients and talking very rudely about the doctors. After waiting twenty minutes for the doctor she rushed my appointment and was not helpful at all for answering questions. read more

Fiance ordered glasses, turns out they sell the shelf displays because they do not stock an inventory.. Just thinking about how many people have tried them on made me ask for my money back. I went into the store on several occasions to look at lenses and then buy a pair of rx sunglasses. Each time I went in I was greeted by the staff but then found them to be very inattentive. They were too busy socializing amongst one another to help. One associate in particular was rude and rolled her eyes at customers behind their backs. The glasses are way over priced and the only reason I brought glasses here was because they are 'approved' by my insurance. After waiting more than 30-minutes longer than they said I would have to, the glasses still aren't right or ready and I have to go back another day to pick them up. My purchase experience was fine. They have a good selection of frames and the glasses were ready quickly. Less than a year later, however, the frames of my daughters glasses broke. Near the hinge, one piece of metal slides into another piece. The adhesive used by the manufacturer failed. We weren't looking for a new pair of glasses, only a repair. The associate didn't even take a close look at the issue and instead said they could not be repaired. Apparently they don't stand behind their products and instead push you to just fork over money for new frames. I fixed them with super glue and I won't be back. read more

Bought on new pair, service was good and fast. Had my Prada frame re-lensed, they completely butchered it claiming the hinges were worn out. I wore that frame maybe a few dozen times, no wear and tear on that frame at all. I guess this is what they do forcing you to buy new frames. Lost me as a client forever. read more

I was wary of going to Lenscrafters because of the bad reviews, but my glasses were broken and a needed a new prescription and frames in a hurry, so I went. A little overpriced but they were very friendly and helpful and have good selection. Make sure to get a discount, which there usually is, and it's not too unreasonable (particularly considering that they make them in under 2 hours). They also let you schedule your exam online and have lots of availability - I was able to get in the same day I booked. I'm glad I went! read more

Awful! The company has completely changed and not for the better. Their prices have gone way up. When I tried to update lenses for a pair of frames I purchased from them a few years ago, they couldn't be bothered, I insisted and the cost was more than the original frames with lenses. read more

I am not an easy person to please! I have been going to LensCrafters for many years and always have a difficult time selecting a frame as I can't really see what I am purchasing until they are completed and I try them on. Jeff the manager has been nothing but gracious when I come in and need to make an exchange. I know he is never happy to see me but always treats me with respect . Sarah is a great representation of LensCrafters. She is helpful , accomodating and a pleasure to deal with. Horrible service! It took me 6 weeks to receive my glasses, 5 trips, they re-ordered my lenses 3 times because they kept scratching the lens before putting them in or after they put them in, they lost my glasses case, and it still cost me $350. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

DO NOT trust these people with your money! Careless mistakes involving hundreds of dollars. I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life here tonight. The woman helping me, Colleen, was helpful and polite throughout the process of finding and fitting my glasses. I waited around for my glasses to be ready, and came back to pick them up and be on my way. However at that time she informed me that she made a mistake and charged me too little for my lenses, and said that I owed another $40. After explaining that I wasn't willing to pay more, she agreed to lower it to $20 because it was HER mistake. I agreed to pay $20 and got my cash out... Then I am informed that they refunded my original $300 charge and my new total was $320. However, the first charge had already come out of my account and refunds can take days sometimes. I told them I couldn't charge my account ANOTHER $300 and then the staff became incredibly rude. They told me I had to come back after the refund processed to pay for my glasses and get them. So now they charged me the wrong amount, refunded my payment without my permission, and I have to drive back again and wait longer to get my glasses because of their multiple mistakes. And the girl was so nasty after I was incredibly patient and understanding with her. I'm shocked at how bad that experience was. read more
