After paying the exam copay, evaluation fee, and refraction fee, I noticed the prescription they gave me was only changed by 0.5 from my previous prescription. What bothered me most was that Holt never mentioned the prescription change, never explained why it was changed, and never offered trial lenses or asked me to test the new power to see if it worked better. None of that happened. When I got home and noticed the change, I called the office. They told me that if Holt didn't discuss it during the appointment, I would need to schedule another appointment just to ask about it. That's completely unacceptable. We were charged extra for services they claimed to provide but clearly did not. I would not recommend going there. If you do decide to make an appointment, call ahead and ask for a full breakdown of every possible charge, otherwise they'll hit you with unexpected fees.
