Arrived at noon today, sunday. We were one of the first ones in. They were super busy by 1230. Gaby helped us. Friendly. It was my son's first pair of glasses, so he wanted to try all on. 267 for rayban glasses , no insurance, and with the 34.00 warranty. If anything happens to frames or lenses in the first year I pay only 25 replacement fee. Glasses were done about 3 hours later. Only problem, though not really gaby fault, my card wouldn't go through, I had to run to atm, while on the way to bank i called to see why my card was declining, I was told she was running card under my son's name. So if your card doesn't work make sure the name matches (this may just be an annoying austin telco thing). read more

Advertises to be open until 7pm but can't do eye exams after 5pm. Kind of hard to get glasses without that.

I broke my glasses while reading in bed. The next day I called Lens Crafters. They looked up my account and found me the same pair of Prada glasses. On my lunch break I was able to get the lenses from my old glasses put into the new ones. Everyone at this location was really nice and very helpful. read more

Came into this place and was not greeted at all, and I proceeded to ask a question about cleaner and both employees looked up at me as if they didn't know what to do and were thoroughly miserable that a customer walked into the store. I'm not sure if they had just never been taught about customer service or they were just knowingly being annoyed and inconsiderate. HORRIBLE! Definition of crappy service. it seemed as though the fact they had to get up out of their seats was a massive inconvenience to them although they only had to walk about 5 feet. NEVER going back!!!! I'm giving one star because this is the THIRD time I've been in here to shop for glasses and literally no one says hi, no one welcomes you, no one eventually comes up and let's you know they see you and they'll be right with you. I don't get it! This stuff is expensive and I spend good money but I will not purchase from here. Third time is not the charm. There are better places, cheaper places, friendlier places. I was pretty pleased in the beginning with picking my glasses and they had many to choose from. Things I wasn't too pleased with was the price was ridiculous, I paid well over $410.00 for my glasses and lens. I was pretty pleased when they came in right away but I was not pleased with the guy who helped me when I picked them up he didn't bother in having them fitted for me so when I got home they kept falling off my face. This was my first pair of glasses so I didn't know they are suppose to get adjusted until a friend told me, that required now a third trip back there. Overall I give this experience 2 stars. Think there employees could use some more training in glasses and customer service. read more

I understand this is a corporate company , but have other options for you customers if you can not do the job! I hate my face, I hate going blind. I love Lens Crafters! I was helped by Quang, who really cares about what he does. He was able to get my style and select quite a few frames that were appropriate. I narrowed it down to just a couple and then finally made my selection. I ended up with a pair that look fantastic and can't wait for them to be ready. Do Not Shop Here!!! I purchased a pair of glasses along with a warranty, that was explained to me as " covering everything up to replacement for no cost, for 1 year". I noticed my lenses had a few scratches on them, and really just wanted them polished out. I was notified that lens replacement would be the only option, and the insurance had a co payment, which is no big deal, but I when I explained that wasn't how it was described to me the Manager stated" no one here told you there was no co payment. I mentioned he wasn't present at the transaction so how could he know , in a very snide and condescending tone he replied " I trained them". My reply was so you're saying I'm lying? He just kind of shrugged and nodded his head... This was a bad customer service experience. rather than insinuate I was a liar, he should have just apologized for the confusion, I had mentioned that the co pay was no big deal, and that maybe they should train the staff better, and that was when he became less hospitable. I guess they don't train their leaders on how to take feedback, other than giving sideways remarks as they walk away. I paid the co pay for the new lenses since I need to see, like I said no big deal, but I buy glasses every year, and will never do business here again, and recommend anyone seeing this message do the same. read more

The worst. Do not go here. The tall, overweight lady working there didn't even assist my girlfriend in picking out glasses. Not to mention the fact that she placed a charge on the bill that my girlfriend knew nothing about! My husband owns a pair if Ray Ban sunglasses. He had scratched the lenses and contacted Ray Ban to order replacement lenses. He was told by Ray Ban that he could take them to any Lens Crafters. We took them to this location and was told they could not do the work because they are "drill mount" lenses. The lady was willing to "chance it". She definitely made an effort. We went to the Lens Crafters at Lakeline Mall. When I explained that Ray Ban said we could take them to any Lens Crafters, they never hesitated. In 20 minutes the lenses were replaced!! read more

The staff that helped me here were great. I went in twice to have my ray bans adjusted (purchased at ray ban store) and they were more than willing to help me find the right fit each time. Just got my new glasses....OMG, I can see! I went in around 11:00; meet Alice (she is my new best-friend)....This chick knows her business....she is AWESOME!!!!. She helped me pick the perfect frames (no to the red ones:)...Yes to the super cute Bronze ones...They look amazing. And I got free prescription sunglasses, I only had to pay for the frames....best deal ever. She file the claim with my insurance company and I got two pair of glasses for $249.00 and I got a text at 2:00 letting me know that my glasses were ready. I stopped in to this location on Friday afternoon to get some Rx sunglasses. I only had a few minutes to look around and felt like I had tried on every pair of sunglasses in the store. It's always been hard to find sunglass frames that don't touch my cheeks or that don't squish the sides of my head. I told the sales rep my issues and in 15 seconds had about 5 pairs for me to try on. I ended up buying a pair that she recommended and they were on sale. After 15 minutes in the store, I was on my way and picked up the glasses the next morning. Couldn't be happier! read more

1/28/17 - We brought our 2 Rx's. Picked out frames (90% on our own with no guidance) quickly. Sales rep "W" took 2 hours to enter order for 1 set of glasses. We were going to each get a set but after 2 hours, we decided only I would get a set as I broke my glasses and needed them quickly. Summary of our experience: 1. Took 2 hours to get our Rx placed and paid by W, the sales rep. She told us the lenses would be $361 plus frames of $99.98 (the least expensive ones in the shop). Rang it all up and with the discount she said it was $308 total. She took our card and brought back a receipt to be signed for $448. We questioned the amount, she was very confused and then again confirmed $308 and credited the difference. Well, we thought she did but then the GM asked for our card again - why we asked. She credited in the store system but did not send the credit to our credit card company. After all that, she said it was going to be about 2 hours (which would be 6:30 - they close at 7). 2. We were supposed to get a text when the glasses were ready. Did not receive a text. They close at 7 so we headed there at 6:30 (thankfully because they were done at 6:55 and we would not have gotten them. We live 6 hours away (which they knew) and they don't open until noon tomorrow (we leave at 8 am). 30 MIN LATER we learned teh sales rep had entered our # incorrectly so we would have NEVER gotten a text. 3. When we drove up, the sales rep was leaving... She had taken her tablet out accidentally so she went in to return it. She didn't remember us (from 2 hours earlier even though we were there 2 hours with her entering things on the computer). She returned her tablet and left. 4. 30 minutes later a person came out to give me my glasses. I asked for a card to read. They were single vision - not the progressive we ordered (and Wanda had confirmed). Turns out the information was not on the Rx for progressive - even though Wanda had confirmed our progressive lense (bi focals with no lines) order. 5. The manager came out. She offered to call our optometrist for the missing info on Monday (we live 6 hours away). Long story short -she offered not to charge us for the progressive cost that would be more. What?! At home (higher cost of living than Austin) we only paid $330 last year and this year for the glasses. So at $318 already paid (yes Wanda didn't refund the correct amount), I requested a refund. 6. Almost 1 hour later, I was grateful I caught their error and got a refund. 7 5.5 hours after spending time in this store, I feel qualified to leave a review. We saw their low reviews but believe in a chance for everyone DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!! It was just like the others said!!! Stay away from here. read more

A friend and I went to LensCrafters in Round Rock yesterday. I wrote a check as a deposit on a pair of glasses. The salesperson entered the check into the system and in a loud voice announced, "Your check was rejected!" Knowing there was more than sufficient funds in the account I asked that he try it again - same results. I immediately called my bank who assured me there was no reason on their end for the problem. Meanwhile, my friend was experiencing the same problem when she tried to pay for her glasses with a debit card and then a check from a different bank. Long story short - after embarrassing us in front of a store full of customers, the problem was with the LensCrafter system. There was no apology, and when I protested the way we were treated I was told to please lower my voice. Between my purchase and that of my friend, LensCrafters lost $1000 in sales yesterday. They had no plan to deal with a system glitch and their customer service was nonexistent. I subsequently went to Pearle Vision in Wolf Ranch, found exactly what I was looking for and saved about $300 in the process. No problems. After 20 years, LenCrafters lost a good customer yesterday. read more

I created an account simply to warn people about this business. I've been in five times now and had one decent experience. They lose orders, do not return calls, ignore the customers in the store, and can't even manage to get your prescription right. Every time I've had to go back in there is someone else there complaining! When you pay $400 for glasses, do you think they should be clean when you pick them up? Not here! They just pull the frame off the floor and slap the wrong lenses in. All with no acknowledgement by the woman who failed at her job. By the way, if you ask any questions, don't waste time expecting factual answers. Horrible experience, and I've been around an optometrists office since I was five. Brought in my favorite ray bans with a busted lens and new lenses that I had to order from Italy. they had a very hard time putting in the new lenses (I don't think they were the right size) but they kept at it for about 45 minutes and made it work! They look good as new. Staff is very friendly and attentive. read more
