We arrived 15 minutes early for our 4 PM appointment on Dec 8th 2023 for my father. Since he is a new patient, often paperwork needs to be filled out on the first visit. I verified with UHC that LensCrafter's was in UnitedHealthcare's vision coverage on Nov 28. I also verified that the doctor we were seeing Dr. Abram was listed. The check-in female looked up the appointment and announced couldn't find my father's insurance on the portal. The check-in person said, "Perhaps the doctor is not with UHC". I said that was not true. Dr. Abram is listed with UHC. Then she said we could pay out-of-pocket. She asked if we wanted to reschedule. I said we did not. I got the impression she did not want to deal with a 92-year-old who uses a walker. He loves to read detective novels but needs new glasses. My husband and I both go to Dr. Abram's office (we have EyeMed insurance) and usually the check-in woman is snippy but mostly professional. I don't think she likes her job or old people. We can find another place that takes UHC and EyeMed. read more

Came in and set an appointment for later in the day. Called them when I was on my way to tell them I was running late due to traffic and they told me not a problem! When I got there they told me they needed to reschedule and they didn't have time for me anymore. They have no consideration for other peoples time!!! read more

I went to the Lenscrafters at 10AM yesterday in the Rockingham Mall. I was the only customer in the store. A woman sitting at a desk said "May I help you?". I said yes, and walked over to her desk. She was eating her breakfast, and it became apparent by the tone in her voice that I was interrupting her. I told her that I had seen a pair of glasses at another LensCrafters and was about to say that I didn't buy them because my friends needed to get home, when she said "Not every pair you see is at every store". So I decided to ignore her snarky tone and proceeded to show her a picture of the glasses. I also showed her a picture of the tag on the glasses. I pointed out that 'Ralph' was on the glasses. She got up, went over to a display, picked up a pair of glasses, put them on a counter and walked back to her desk without saying a word. I put them on and tried to take a picture of myself with them on. I took them off and noticed that the price was $20 more than the price on the original ones. I commented (from across the room) about the price difference, and she said "Yes, all our prices went up as of yesterday". I said this price change and your attitude make me just want to walk out. She just turned around and kept doing whatever it was she was doing. So I walked out. read more

As a family of 4, with 3 who wear glasses/contacts we have been coming here out of convenience. Same day appointments, etc. It pains me to say after how I was treated yesterday, I will NEVER be back. My daughter had an annual exam and her first contacts exam 2 weeks ago. She was so excited! The doctor was so wonderful and his assistant was so patient. Just a stellar experience. So good that if this doctor was in another Location, I would visit there. So they fitted and gave her daily lenses. They only gave her a week supply, but her follow up was 10 days from then. They couldn't give the prescription then because it has to be finalized after the patient tries them out. Made perfect sense. Well the next weekend I called and asked for an appt because she was out. Got us in but they didn't have any more to even supplement the 10 day supply. I did not order from them because they are so over priced. Also, I shouldn't be made to feel bad. I'm a consumer. This isn't LensCrafters eye doctor. It is a separate group that uses that space. I tried filling her script at Walmart down the road. The lady there told me that version on dailies can't be filled in 99 percent of stores and would have to be ordered. However, she did have 3 or 4 other forms that could be filled that day with the script changed to indicate that. So my daughter wore glasses for a few days because we were going away. We returned and yesterday afternoon I went in and tried to ask for more samples or a change in script. The lady behind the counter did not raise her voice, but certainly her tone to make sure I knew-she wasn't helping me (even though I asked to speak w the DOCTOR) bc we didn't buy/order through them. I asked her to check w someone. She asked someone behind another desk and they said "no. You didn't order through us, they won't do that". That practice makes sense, but I was NEVER given the opportunity to explain our years and and years and THOUSANDS we have spent (pls look up my Acct) and the shortage that was from the beginning!!!! I also was never offered the opportunity -even though I asked-to speak to the dr. So, my impression now is the DR really doesn't care about the patients or their needs. It's a jiffy lube of eye exams. In, our, up-sell, and when there is a problem-it's tour fault. Message received. I will never ever step foot in there. For the Dr. office that is associated with this location, you have not only lost a customer. You lost a family. You have gained something though-awareness to the issues that happen for those unfortunate customers who chose you. BBB will be contacted as well. As a consumer, I HAD the right to speak with the doctor and was denied because of my request. And they wonder why places like Zenni and Walmart just do better? Not just the price, but the experience. Eventually enough people will learn they have alternatives. There is no hope for this place. read more

I love this store, I love the staff, I love the doctors. Friendly and knowledgeable. They're the best! I highly recommend them.

Three stars because I enjoy same day/week appointments. The doctors are fantastic and answer questions thoroughly. However if you don't know what's covered by your insurance its easy to say "yes" and take on additional fees because they offer you services that are not included to make it easier for the doctor to do their job. I have never bought glasses from them - they are over priced, name brand frames that are not worth it. I have never had my appointment occur on time and found that once my appointment is over I am practically ignored (another reason I've never purchased frames from them). read more

I would give negative if I could. On 09/02/18 my sister and I went into Lenscrafters at Rockingham Mall in NH. Three idle employees looked at us as we walked in but ignored us. After a few minutes we walked out, they don't deserve our business. We decided to do the test and sent my brother-in-law (who is white) in by himself and surprise surprise he was greeted. I previously shopped at another location and had no real complaints, now my family and I will never do business at any Lenscrafters. read more

Went to the LensCrafters at the Rockingham mall in Salem New Hampshire. Was disappointed by customer service. Sales associates were rude. Left without glasses. The sales associate on my way I said "good luck getting your glasses somewhere else."Went to LensCrafters at the Fox Ron mall in Newington. Eye glasses in an hour as promised. Took 3 family members here notified them they were out of network. "Yes, we will cover the contact fitting" to quote them. We proceeded to get 3 pair of glasses and contacts. Surprise merry Christmas here's a $120 bill for contact exams. Last time I waste money at this place! read more

This is without a doubt one of the worst businesses I have ever encountered. The staff was rude and inept. I wouldn't trust them with anyone's eyes- all they care about is seeing as many people as they can in the shortest amount of time possible. read more

If i could give negative 5 stars, I would. Everything from the eye exam to getting my glasses was an awful customer experience. The front desk doesn't seem to communicate with the initial eye prep area, and then the prep area doesn't communicate with the eye specialist - meaning you end up repeating yourself over and over. Then it took over 30 mins to get someone to help me purchase my glasses with new lenses (It wasn't busy). After I purchased went through the process of selecting the frames and new lenses, I was told the frames needed to sent out. The employee actually made a joke, "oooops, i guess i should have told you that before we started the process." I was told 7 days, but today it has been 14 days and they still don't have an update for me. DO NOT GO HERE. It seems convenient, but not worth it. read more

I went in while I was walking through the mall even though I didn't have my prescription with me however I figured I could find something I liked and come back tomorrow. While in the store trying on glasses, the manager ( I'm assuming she was, she had blonde hair and was heavier set) had a hissy fit that someone wrote her a passive aggressive note and crumpled it up and yelled at her staff while there were customers in the store. The staff all chatted and were talking amongst themselves before anyone even approached me to ask if I needed help. I think I was there about 5 minutes or so. The manager then had another employee walk up to her and ask a question and while she was doing that, the manager snapped at her and said "are you going to keep interrupting me? Or listen to me!" It was very disrespectful to the other employee. I have worked in customer service for more than 25 years and if any of my managers or employees acted the way that "manager" did she would have been fired. I think it's important who you hire to represent your company, and it should not be her. read more
