LensesRX has made two pairs of prescription lenses for my Liberty Sport Torque II frames that I use for skydiving - and they work GREAT! As you can imagine, it is so important for these lenses to be both perfect for my vision and to be really secure in the frames to withstand up to 200 mph as I fall through the sky. I ordered a pair of silhouette frames from LensesRX because I broke one of the arms on my frames. I actually ordered them based on the numbers that were on the inside of one of the arms. I spoke with LensesRX prior to purchasing and was assured that my existing lenses would fit based on all the numbers matching. I received the frames in a timely manner otherwise they would have received a 1 star. Anyway, once the frames arrived I tried to put my lenses into the frames and they would not fit at all. I sent photos to their customer service and they did offer to accept them as a return; however, now I'm paying shipping to return an item for an issue with a frame that was not my fault at all. I also was shorted $3.99 on my return, which I have no idea what that is. I thought about calling them but my time is way more valuable. I would never recommend this company to anyone else that is purchasing frames or lenses. The only thing they offered to do was make lenses for my prescription. This company has an 8 frame limit for trying on at home (granted I paid for all 8, awaited a refund after returned). Then a customer must wait "several weeks" before ordering again (even if one is willing to pay for more). Ridiculous policy. I try on dozens of frames in a brick and mortar store before deciding. As an on-line company they must understand the importance of trying on several via mail (at least to keep a customer). I do not understand the bad reviews I have used LensesRX 3 times. Lens replacement in Fendi full rim frames, Fendi rimless frames w/Swarovski crystals and husbands Armani full frames. They are prompt courteous and my frames always come back in perfect condition and quick turn around. They respond in a timely manner. I always describe my frames in the "additonal comments" box provided on order and I have never had an issue. The price and quality cannot be beat. The biggest issue was always with my rimless frames. I ordered Grey replacement lenses and was given Blue lenses. Then was made to Pay for the Return shipping fees because of their error. The order ended up costing me $100 because of their mistake. They were not accomodating or pleasant to deal with. The Second set of lenses were good which was their only redeemer. Still, a huge hassle and disappointment to get what I ordered for originally. You should never have to pay return shipping fees if your order was inaccurate! Also they refused to refund me, only to ship back at my expense so I had absolutely no choice. read more

Delivered my glasses with the wrong prescription, then made me pay for return shipping, and charged me an additional $10.00 for blanks that were not returned with the defective glasses. Absolutely horrible customer service and warranty policy. Beware. There are so many good choices online, but these guys are not one of them. Don't get lured in by the competitive pricing. I originally contacted lensesRX on the phone to walk me through the process of what I wanted I was extremely specific. They screwed up my 3 pair of glasses and would accept no responsibility. I sent them detailed instructions in the box I sent, and not only did they screw up my glasses they sent me back my glasses in a different box not my glasses box and threw away my lenses I had in originally and the box. Accepting no responsibility, and to make it even worse they tried to extort 90 dollars more out of me which I refused to fix the problem. Then they want me to personally pay to ship incorrect lenses back which I refused. These 3 pair glasses are now useless to me. They were rare custom Elvis glasses I use in my profession. This company is lacking in response and customer services and accepts no responsibility for their obvious mistakes and attention to their clients. I now have to buy additional glasses if I can find them, so I have the tinted lenses again without a prescription. Extremely upset. read more

I needed some lenses that were for an out of production frame, my favorite glasses. I filled out the form, enclosed the glasses and shipped them to the Staten Island, NY. office. Shipped them Monday received them back in perfect order the next Saturday. For a split second after shipping the glasses I thought I had entered my wife's prescription and not mine by mistake. I had broken the very expensive frames of my prescription glasses. I looked online for alternatives to bringing them back to my eyeglass store and I found LensesRx. I saw on their website that they had my frame so I sent my glasses there to have the lenses switched to the new frames. I just got my glasses today and they're perfect! From the time that I sent them till the time I received them back took about 10 business days. The glasses cost less than half the price that my store quoted. I am extremely happy with the customer service from LensesRx.com. You have to be diligent in collecting the information that you provide them as they will make lenses that are EXACTLY as you request. Unfortunately, I made an error with my PD (Pupil Distance) and the first set of lenses that they provided me were AWFUL. So, I took my glasses to my optometrist who quickly pointed out my error. I then called LensesRx and explained the situation and told them that the error was mine. I was prepared to be told that it would cost me hundreds of dollars for them to correct my error. To my surprise, they told me to send my frames back to them and for just $10 to cover shipping and handling, they corrected MY error. I received my glasses faster than expected and they are PERFECT. I highly recommend LensesRx and I will use them again. read more

I ordered a pair of frames. They sent different frames (same design, smaller size, which doesn't fit my face). When I called to inform them that the order was wrong, a rude customer service rep told me that the ones I ordered were discontinued. I told her they should have informed me of that or cancelled the order, not decide on their own to send me different glasses. They told me I could return them but that I would have to pay return shipping. The "manager" I spoke with says they do not cover return shipping no matter what - even if the error is entirely theirs. I've filed a dispute with my credit card company for the unauthorized charge. When someone orders something, you don't have a right to charge their card for anything you want! Could you imagine if everyone just got to make willy-nilly "substitutions" to your orders when they felt like it? read more

Well this is the worst experience ever! For the price I paid I should have went in a store locally and been given better customer service than this. I was told I would have my glasses no later than this PAST weekend if I wanted to keep the 39.00 rush delivery. So I did and now its Tuesday of the next week and still cant see. And called in and was treat horribly by I guess the manager. Over 39.00 they would rather lose a lifetime customer!! Crazy. This lens company sends out email ads for UP to 50 % off but when I tried to use it the biggest discount I could get on $300.00 lenses was 21 percent - local optical shops in california offer lenses for less than the $240.00 LensesRX.com wanted. Just be careful if you consider buying lenses "ONLINE" at a discount. read more

Terrible work....I am in California and sent my frames to replace the lense along with my prescription. My prescription calls for a PRISM which only helps for the eye to adjust but not necessary. I did not want the prism but they insisted after they already had my frame...so I felt held hostage. I went ahead but of course it cost me more money. It turns out the script is WRONG....I had to go to an optometrist to get it verified made the call to get it fixed and talked to a VERY NASTY girl . They obviously have these problems alot. Just dont use these people as it will only COST you.....Use Replace a Lens in Denver...they are excellent. Lesson learned. read more
