They asked me to obtain the parts myself, as they had done during an earlier repair. After the work was completed, the new seal leaked. When I returned, they said they would charge me additional labor to correct the problem because I had supplied the parts. Their signed warranty states, "We will honor work that we have performed, and there are no exceptions." I understand that a shop may not warranty a customer-supplied part, but that limitation should have been clearly explained before the work was authorized--not after a problem appeared. I now have to pay another shop to determine whether the seal was improperly seated, the housing was damaged, the supplied part was defective, or something else caused the leak. My advice: insist that this shop obtain the required parts itself, and get the parts-and-labor warranty terms in writing before approving any repair.

I asked to get the resonator repaired with the muffler, he said it wasn't needed. Several weeks later my resonator was dragging. I was charged an additional price for the resonator when I could have gotten the muffler and resonator replaced with one price. It was noted by another mechanic that the muffler and resonator were installed without ensuring the pipes fitted. It was installed without care. Will not return.
