The food is excellent. But their delivery is terrible. For breakfast, a 2 block delivery for a bagel and ice tea takes 40 minutes on average. Not recommended for breakfast delivery. In cold temperatures, breakfast arrives cold. They should use a delivery service because they can't handle the volume.

The lenwich sandwich is served hot. When we opened up the sandwich, it was steaming hot. The sandwiches come in a roll (13.99) or a hero (15.99). We got the hero to share between 3 people. My favorite out of the 2 sandwiches is the lLenwich. They packed the sandwich with ingredients. I also bought the mini Strawberry bon bolone. The strawberry mousse was delicious. It was light and airy. The store has a lot of food to choose from. Like salad bowls, hot and cold sandwiches, and soups. We will gladly come again.

I've been wanting to try Lenwich for awhile, and I know it's not the typical New York deli experience but I was excited regardless. I ordered up front and it seemed like everything was to go. They finished preparing my meal within 5 minutes which was very nice and efficient. I ordered the Lenwich and it was delicious! I absolutely loved the two meats that they put inside and the thousand island dressing went surprisingly well with them both. Also, it didn't feel super overwhelming and meaty because of the amount of coleslaw that they had inside. Honestly, I could've just only eaten half of it and felt full. Overall, the sandwiches were absolutely delicious and I would definitely come back to try this place out.

The Big Daddy Sandwich, Chimichurri Steak sandwich

Lenwich near AMNH is our go-to place after Thanksgiving inflation. Tried this other location which is similar. Ordered our usual heros, which is shareable for us. Chimichurri steak has shaved meat, pico de gallo so a little spicy kick from jalapenos. Big daddy is mild, with shaved meat, red peppers and crispy onions. Lenwich burger come with raw onions, lettuce and tomatoes. We like their double chocolate muffins, $3. Today though, I checked my receipt after paying bec. the bill total seemed off. An extra sandwich was added to my order but was quickly corrected.

Disgusting . Omg I was her on Sunday Aug 6th 2023, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I sat waiting 2b called for my order, after finding & cleaning the nasty tables, bc all they care about is money & not the customers having a clean table to sit & eat. So, as I wait, I look around & see a big Yellow parrot on the table where ppl eat. First, it's the dogs in restaurant now it BIRDS Ru FQ'ng kidding me? What is this now ANIMAL kingdom? It's a restaurant why the Department of Health don't check these places more often is beyond me. If ur not blind w/a seeing eye dog or an anxiety/seizure dog then NO other dogs should be inside a restaurant. What happened to tying dog outside? NYC has gone to the dogs & homeless literally. People have allergies but NO animal w/ feathers or fur (hair) should ever be Inside a restaurant with open containers like lettuce / food. However, a BIRD saids a lot about the Manager: Anna who didn't notice b4 a customer brought it to her attention means this is normal at this location. She also didn't even offer a discount on my food for the inconvenience of me the customer having to go back into the heat wave conditions to eat my lunch on a bench. So, the animals have right of way over paying customers. Wow! I don't recommend this nasty dirty location. If ur a tourist don't come here to eat.

I came for the famed Chicken Caesar Wrap and it was good but not great only because I didn't think there was enough dressing.

Lenwich has a solid menu featuring sandwiches (hot and cold), salads, soups, coffees, and breakfast items (before 11:00 a.m.). I tried the Chickavo, and switched out the buttermilk ranch with chipotle ranch--it was delicious! I took my order to go, but Lenwich offers a rather spacious dining area with several indoor tables and a couple of outdoor tables in front. I'd love to come back to try a new sandwich!

Solid lunch spot that offers sandwiches and salads, fully customizable if you want! I got the chicken Caesar wrap and was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. It was like a full salad in wrap form- and I loved the crunchy crouton touch to it to add texture. Taste was great, service was quick, and they have a clean fast causal atmosphere to dine in. Might be a good option to grab sandwiches and picnic Central Park!

Chain restaurant sandwich shop- overall okay. Had a ruben- prepared pretty quick and lots of seating. Staff was very nice but sandwich a little try. Good for a quick grab but just ok. -clean restaurant -quick service - sandwich (ok) - many other options -located throughout the city

Lenwich 302 Columbus Avenue is in my old neighborhood where I lived on West 74th Street. When I was nearby today I continued to spend the gift card my daughter gave me. I've been buying one muffin and taking it home for breakfast the next day. I also like their coffee. It's reasonably priced. Today is a beautiful day to sit outside with my morning coffee. I doubt I'll be returning to this location. I still have my favorite Lenwich closer to my current apartment. This location is fine for grab and go.

Sandwich chain that can be found all around the city. Definitely a step up from the local delis and bodegas. Sure, it's a bit pricier than those places but the quality is usually better. Figure $10-$12 for a sandwich or hero. Lots options here for breakfast, salads, and non meat eaters too. I usually get the Tuna Dijon will the fixins on multi grain bread. Decent and filling enough.

We stumbled across Lenwich after the Museum of Natural History 5-star btw. The place was packed so we figured it must be a killer spot. Lenwich was good. I got the Lenwich sandwich which is Hot Pastrami and Corned Beef, Swiss, slaw and T.I. sauce. It was good, light on the TI sauce, little dry. Amy got the Chicken Cheddar Sandwich and she really liked it. "Really good" and my daughter got the Tuna Dijon, hold the Dijon, toms and carrots. She also had an average experience. Not bad, quick service, a little hectic because you order in the back and pick up/pay in the front; but some people would just order and stand around the front cash register. Also the front register is where the workers hand out the food. A lot going on in a small busy space.

I was pleasantly…read moresurprised to find out they had a location in New York City, so I obviously had to give it a try. There are a few locations, but I decided to visit this one because it was the most convenient for getting to and from home. I got there around 7:00 PM, which felt a little close to closing time since Google said they close at 9:00 PM, but it wasn't busy at all. In fact, I was only the third customer to place an order. I ordered the La Summer sandwich and added pesto. After sitting down and taking my first bite, I immediately understood the hype. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'm not even a huge sandwich person when it comes to subs and deli meats, but everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients paired together perfectly, and you could still taste each one individually. The only thing I'd change next time is the meat. I had no idea prosciutto was a type of ham, but honestly, it didn't even taste like ham to me. It was sliced paper-thin, slightly salty, and worked surprisingly well with everything else. Next time, though, I'll probably add salami just to see how it compares. Overall, this sandwich was a solid 10/10, and I will absolutely be back--whether it's to try a different sandwich or, if we're being honest, order the exact same one again with salami added. I will say it's on the expensive side, but that's New York City for you. Apparently, all of the ingredients are flown in from Italy. After tax and tip, I paid a whopping $28 for a single sandwich. That said, it was incredibly filling and definitely kept me satisfied. The workers were also really nice and accommodating, and the indoor seating was beautiful. The atmosphere felt like a fancy Italian café, complete with couches and artwork throughout the space. I wish I had taken pictures, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying what might be the best sandwich I've had in years.

Be PREPARED this Sammie has some chili honey liquid /oil sauce they put on it and it's tasty but it's a lot. Google their name and "best" and get hundreds of hits, but the majors who crowned them "best sandwich" title include Saveur Magazine, the big one touted by the family; Eater NY, ranking La Paradiso the most elite Italian sandwich outside of Italy; Las Vegas Weekly, who crowned them "Home of the world's best sandwiches"; TripAdvisor, for whom the Italian original is the most reviewed eatery with a near perfect rating; and The Infatuation NYC guides who promise the execution of the crispy, airy schiacciata bread completely justifies the hype. All 17 options looked amazing, so I spoke to a regular in line, telling her I couldn't decide between "La Paradiso", the most praised (even though she informed me "mortadella is just bolonie" or the Hot Italian, which was more my style. So, I did what any gluttonous American would do and I got both. And a Diet Coke, of course. La Paradiso has thinly sliced bolonie for a savory base, with creamy shredded stacciatella cheese, with sweet but earthy pistachio cream, and a sprinkle of toasted pistachio for texture (that I didn't detect). It was good, but I will likely fuggedaboutit. The Hot Italian had thin, lean turkey, spicy and smoky spreadable Calabrian pork sausage, a balancing provolone, calabrian chili honey, and peppery arugula (that they claim adds crunch that I didn't detect). Were they life-changing? No. But I rank Paradiso a 8.8 and Hot Italian a 10. And because everyone is hard-working and everything is so freshly prepared and cut, it's a class act. They should seriously make a sign that says, "Can't decide? Get two!" and then give me free sandwiches on my yearly trips for the idea.
