It looked busy but the ordering line moved quick. Since it was lunch rush I think they had the A squad making salads and sandwiches. I had the #1 Lenny's. I forget what was in it but it was delicious. Nice hot sandwich perfectly made. Nothing fell out of the sandwich, impressive. Overall I thought it was a nice sandwich. I like this Lenny's location more than a few others I have been too. One, their number 11 vegetarian sandwich is off the chain!!! It's sooo good! I don't know what they put in their mustard, but it's definitely the best I have ever had. Also, no matter what time it is, lunch rush or 4pm, there are always seats open. There is a lot of seating at this location. The service is fast and it takes under 5 minutes to get your food. I haven't tried much besides the vegetarian dishes, but I haven't met one that I didn't like. Lenny's is a solid choice when debating about lunch. I've ordered from them dozens of times and have always had a good experience with quality and timing. Plus, they have such a huge variety. Even if you don't want any of their special sandwiches or salads, you can always create your own and there isn't too much that they don't have. And the prices are relatively reasonable. BLT is $4. They even serve breakfast - omelets, bagels, assortment of coffees, fruit, etc. Another one of their great options - they serve "meals" - choice of chicken, salmon, turkey that comes with three sides. Catering service is expensive. I needed to cater a Lunch meeting for 35 individuals and tried Lenny's based on feedback from some locals. The food quality was good and the delivery was on time. The issue I had was the bill....for 35 lunches it cost me $682 or $20 a person!!! I ordered a sandwich platter, bags of chips, bottled waters and a dessert platter. I felt the price was excessive versus leveraging a Subway's option which would cost about half the price. I will not be ordering catering services from here in the future. read more

I went to this Lenny's because i always go to Lenny's at Rockefeller center. I ordered a cobb salad! I was the only person ordering a salad at the moment cause there was only four people there. I was waiting for 15mins, then i noticed that three people just designed there own salad and my salad is a Lenny special (cobb salad) but it was yet to be given to me!! So I go to the counter and ask whats going on!! Salad was never made, so i waited till it was made another 5mins! On top of all of that the container they usually use to serve the salad was finished! So it had to be divided into two containers!!!!! So as i walked out i noticed that there was none of the ingredients such as chicken, dressing and avocado!!! It was the worst experience ever...he tried to force me to take it!! I denied and asked for my money back!! But he only gave the money for the salad a forced me to pay for my drink!!!! This is a tip for Lenny's (if you're reading) could you please have printed menu's for people to look a while they are debating what to order? My eyesight isn't great and the massive board you have with every sandwich known to man is hard to read when your place gets crowded. i made order on grub hub. the lady from this location called to confirm special instructions and they totally screwed the entire order up. i called and spoke to freddy who was extremely rude and called me a liar.... he degraded me and told me after i started eating the sandwich to return to store and they could replace it. pathetic. imagine taking food back from someones home and that had started eating it... how horrible and unsanitary customer service. manager would not even come on the line. do not eat there again if you want clean and quality good and customer service. read more

We really enjoyed the sandwiches and salads we had here while we visited NYC. The menu is very large with a lot of appealing and interesting options. There is really something for everyone here. The food was prepared quickly and was tasty. It seemed like a pretty busy place but we got a table for 6 with no problem. We didn't plan to eat here but we were hungry and it was on our way back to Midtown. No regrets though, I'd go again. read more

What can I say about Lenny's? I used to frequent Lenny's because it was along my dog walking route and is usually on the quicker side of places to grab a sandwich and a drink. However, I have to say that they're prices are a touch steep for a sandwich, given what you can get at most any corner deli. All of their sandwiches are filling, the tables and counter tops are clean, and the service is quick. The downside to this place is that it is expensive for what they are serving. I have never been amazed by any sandwich that I have gotten from here, but I have also never hated anything either. I've been eating at this Lenwich (formally Lenny's) location a few times a week ... for 16 years. Friendly customer service, delicious food, great prices. They've been super Covid-safe during this wretched pandemic, too. My go-to is the buffalo chicken on a wrap; it has the perfect amount of spice. I was recently here and got a chicken Caesar salad on a whole wheat wrap because it looked yummy and it said it was low carbs. As it turns out it was a wrap mostly filled with stale croutons. Not delicious at all, and I can't imagine the calories statement was accurate. As a side note, I went to wash my hands to the bathroom and literally burned my skin with the dangerously hot water coming out of the faucet. I will not be going back here. The food would (1) take forever to the point where we'd call and (2) when it finally arrived it would be undercooked/wrong food/missing ingredients. We called and complained the first few times. To be honest I've never been to one of their locations. However I have had their baked goods, coffee, and sandwiches on several occasions. They usually cater small events that I go to for work. I'm always surprised at the coffee. You'd expect it to be terrible since it's kept in containers, but it's actually not bad. The baked goods have always been delicious. The sandwiches are also good. I agree with the average 3.5-4 rating for Lenwich. They offer pretty fast service and decent prices for huuuuuge sandwiches, stuffed with everything you could possibly want or imagine. I like that they don't charge prices that are too high even for the sandwiches that have a lot of expensive meats and protein (perfect for that friend or boyfriend that eats a lot). I like going here for a quick bite after a long walk with friends through Central Park, when I want food that will leave me feeling full and satisfied without breaking the bank. It's perfect to go here when you only have 30 minutes for a meal that you still want to wholeheartedly enjoy (also there are healthy options for those of you who are watching what you eat). I once again wish for the half-star system so that I could give Lenny's 3 1/2 stars instead of 3, though it's not quite worthy of 4. 3 seems to indicate that it's average, and I thought it was slightly better than that, though I wasn't floored either. As others have mentioned, it's a little overpriced, but my sandwich was pretty good, as was my black and white cookie. The location for this particular Lenny's is convenient if you happen to be in Central Park.
