Hello Linda, you can do a set of nails but you would have to start off short since your nail beds won’t be strong enough to hold on to them being long.

If I am uncomfortable she tries her best to work with the fact my foot might be tilted a bit and makes it work. She is detailed and listens to the shape and requests I might have. She is so sweet and I love having her do my nails. I know I dont talk much when I am there but I REALLY appreciate the women who do my nails and the care they take.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

She consulted me to try the acrylic so we could soak them off in a couple of months. She gently removed the excess hard gel and did a glitter pink and white ombré to die for. Right near work too? They operate by appointment only which is fine, especially since I work pretty close by in downtown anyways. This last time I saw Yeony and I know she will be my go-to girl from now on! I love that she pays attention to detail and my cuticles and polish look fantastic - no clumpyness and no bleeding over into my skin. I trust her with cute designs which is the whole point for me in getting my nails done! Thank you Yeony for also being gentle, I have very sensitive skin, especially around my cuticles and she takes her time and doesn't pull or file/cut too close. I dont plan on going anywhere else! Parking is also easy - you can park at the little tokyo marketplace garage and the salon validates for 3 hours. I haven't had any issues going over that time yet~ 감사합니다

Sure, I've tried a few other places over the years (just out of curiosity) but I always end up coming back. This place feels like home. I'm so happy that Jane finally has her own salon space now, it's so well-deserved! The vibe is cozy, clean, and welcoming, just like Jane herself. Plus, the location is super convenient with almost 5 hours of free parking with validation (which is a huge win in LA!). Jane is incredibly talented and genuinely cares about nail health. She doesn't do acrylics (which I appreciate!), and instead focuses on gel. Whether I'm going for a simple gel manicure or a fully customized look with hand-drawn art, she nails it (pun intended ) every time. She uses high-quality Korean products, takes her time with cuticle care, and the results are always beautiful and long-lasting. Jane is one of those rare people who you stay loyal to for years and I'm so proud to support her in this new chapter with Wiz Nail. If you're looking for a nail tech who's consistent, detailed, and truly cares about you and your nails, Jane is the one.

You describe yourself as present and personally de-escalating the situation -- you were not on-site; every staff member present that day was a woman. We only spoke briefly on the phone when inquiring about your parking. Please don't rewrite the record to include a firsthand account you don't actually have. If you have CCTV footage, feel free to pull it up. You'll see I didn't disrespect anyone. I simply expressed my frustration & irritation of waiting long & not being told ahead of time you were short-staffed. Amy could've said that when I arrived but she didn't. I also want to correct the claim that I was asked to leave or that staff suggested I go elsewhere. That did not happen. Amy asked, "So what do you want to do?" -- nothing more. I chose to stay because I had already waited 45 minutes & my regular nail salons I visit were booked up. Regarding the discount: I was told directly, in person, that the 15% first-time customer offer "doesn't do that anymore..." Again, I appreciated the 20% discount. As of this posting, your own website still advertises, "New guests get 15% off their first visit -- just mention it when you book." That's not a promotion that ended before my visit -- it's still live right now. Either honor what you advertise or take it down; see screenshot. Furthermore, I want this on record: the day after my service, I began experiencing random pain on my right pinky finger, & it hasn't resolved.
