Hello Linda, you can do a set of nails but you would have to start off short since your nail beds won’t be strong enough to hold on to them being long.

I originally wanted acrylic nails, but I was persuaded to get Gel-X instead because I was told they would last longer. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but after only one week, several of my nails are already lifting. For a $120 service, I expected much better quality and durability. At this point, they feel comparable to press-on nails. Overall, I'm disappointed because I spent a lot of money expecting a long-lasting, professional set, especially for a special occasion. Ceci is absolutely amazing. Book a same day with wafer thin nails. I hadn't had a full set in years. I was a hard gel girl. She consulted me to try the acrylic so we could soak them off in a couple of months. She gently removed the excess hard gel and did a glitter pink and white ombré to die for. Right near work too? I've gone to many nail salons but Cecis is the best. They have the best prices. I normally get the gel for $53 you can't beat that anywhere. They operate by appointment only which is fine, especially since I work pretty close by in downtown anyways.
