    Birria ramen!
    Mark F.

I searched for tacos and this place popped up with many stars and highly recommended. I gave it a shot and was not disappointed. The birria ramen was what drew me in. It was awesome, the noodles were a nice addition to the super flavorful birria consume. I added some of their hot sauce to the mix and it was great! The hot sauce was so flavorful I ended up drinking it before my food came out, seriously! I also got a carne asada street taco on a flour tortilla. That was also really good. They come plain and the salsa bar has chopped onions, cilantro, lime, and of course salsa! A few varieties but I only tried hot, it rocked! I'm not from around here but if I were, I would be a local at Leo's! Give'm a shot!

My mom came to visit from the East Coast and she had never had a Birria taco.. well this lady is one of the MOST CRITICAL when it comes to restaurants. She's one of those "i can make that better at home" type of people. Well my spicy girl was VERY Impressed with Leo's!! She is officially a birria fan. I've wanted to try this spot for awhile so i was excited to check it out. We got there right before 12:30pm and good thing, because it immediately began to fill up after we placed our orders. We got two Queso birria tacos each and a side of beans. The tacos came out quickly and were delivered to the table (for it to be a casual eatery, it was nice that they brought it to us!) we immediately hit up the salsa bar and grabbed fresh cilantro, onion and each of the sauces to try. The tacos were HOT, freshly made and the meat was soooooo tender. The consome had nice bits of meat in the bottom and the beans were creamy and flavorful. My mom made alllllll the love noises while eating! I was so happy her first birria experience was a good one. Even the people sitting next to us were loving it! We chatted about how good the food was. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!

Everything about this place is still amazing! Even after months of not being back, they still remember me and treat me very respectfully. I love the guys who work here! The food is, of course, incredible. The amount of hardwork and dedication that goes into running this place is obvious and they run a tight ship. I need to visit more frequently because it is great every time.

Middle daughter craves birria ramen and the valentines week of taking all my ladies continued with Leo's due to its high recommendation. First impressions were very clean great friendly staff with a smile. We ordered the birria ramen and two tacos one asada and one birria and a Jamica. After grabbing a table we also grabbed a few essentials from the salsa bar, salsa, onion, cilantro, and limes. There were also some raw serrano peppers and that's pretty much it not a good selection but definitely the needed essentials. The salsa had three heat options mild hot and fire and after tasting the mild which was more of a medium for my somewhat tolerant palette I didn't even attempt the other two. Leads me to say this is a spicy salsa joint so if you like the ability to add heat this might be a good one for you. Food came out and we dug in. Daughter enjoyed her ramen as I did the tacos, we both felt that it wasn't the best we've had but a solid option. Asada taco isn't the star here but when trying new things you should try as much as you can in the first trip. The birria taco had good flavor not great as did the ramen. Wasn't full of meat which was a little disappointing with the ramen coming in the 24oz bowl. Definitely got you hoping for a pretty hearty meal. All in all we really enjoyed our time together and if we lived closer it would be in the rotation more often for the entire family for sure, so if near definitely check this place out as they definitely have quality at the forefront.

I have always wanted to find a birria place that I liked and have tried probably 10 but have been disappointed. Maybe it was them, maybe it was me but it was always just meh for me. And then I met Leo's. My husband brought me a birria raman when I was sick about a month ago and it was AMAZING. He asked me to go back again today for lunch and I was excited to see the full menu. I asked the owner, super nice guy named Ruben if he suggested the birria burger or the burrito and he said burger so I went all in. Guys, this thing is the most mouth watering, buttery, juicy "burger" and I am obsessed. Not too salty, not spicy, just perfect. The fries were crispy and well seasoned too! My husband got the birria fries and devoured them but I will be thinking about this burger for days/weeks/months to come. Soooooo good.

Leo's tacos recently opened and decided to give them a try. Came on a Saturday afternoon and they were busy. Always a good sign when you there is good traffic for food. Menu was very clear and easy to read. Customer service was very friendly. Location has space inside and outside for seating and was clean. I ordered carne asada fries and the birria burrito. The portion for both plates was a decent size for sharing. The food tasted good. The fries could have used some guac but overall good. The meat on both dishes did not feel greasy or heavy. Overall a good meal, will be coming back to try other dishes.

First of all, it's great to walk into a taco shop where people actually care about what they are doing, everyone here is always having a good time and always is pleasant, upbeat, and respectful to the consumer! The food is always outstanding, today I had a great recommendation for the burger and fries, it was absolutely insane! Can't wait to come back. Keep it UP!

Money play! This place was fantastic. I took my beautiful date here right after our balloon ride as she wanted Birria tacos. And this place did not disappoint at all. No wonder it has the rating it does. 5 stars all the way. We walk in and the place is very clean the menu is displayed on the screens and the register. Very simple menu and lots of options for Birria. We got greeted in a nice manner and asked if we have ever been. We got a full rundown of the menu and what was the way to try everything. We got the Birria ramen which was awesome. The broth base was rich and flavorful with enough meat and noodles. We also got Quesabirria tacos and a carne asada taco. Very filling and so good. The Birria was some of the best I've ever had. The carne asada was also good and added onion and cilantro from the salsa bar. Their homemade sauces were also awesome, loved the spicy sauce the best. I hope they open more locations closer to me but this might have to be a spot I make the hour plus drive for because it was that good. Great job gents and loved every bit of it. I'll be back!

We have been wanting to try this place for quite awhile, they close early so it's been a challenge to try it out. It's a small place maybe like 10 tables inside and I believe I saw one outside as well. The staff all seemed polite, our food came out hot and the wait time wasn't very long. I ordered birria fries, my husband birria ramen and my son a carne asada burrito. We all liked our food. We would go back.

Their Birria Burgers, fries, tacos and chips are amazingly delicious it made me forget my passcode to unlock my phone! if you are ever in the area, go to Leo's tacos and burrito. You will not be disappointed.

    BREAKFAST BACON BURRITO

The breakfast burrito had good ratio of egg, potatoes and bacon but ZERO seasoning. It was very bland. Not sure if it comes with cheese but mine did not have any. Definitely reds the cheese.

I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

I would say inside is similar to a Filiberto's, but I don't really care as long as the food is good. I'm a big taco fan and the tacos here are just ok. (Pastor way too salty, asada seemed blah, but suadero was good) I did make a lil drive to come out here but probably wouldn't do it again unless I'm just in the area. If o had to compare, I would say taco boys, ta carbon and tacos calafia are well above this spot. Good visit though and really just stopped to try.

The best part? Their carne asada is ACTUALLY grilled outside over the fire, and that smoky flavor makes a huge difference. They also have a great salsa bar with plenty of toppings, chiles, cucumbers, lime, cilantro... basically everything you need to build your perfect taco and test your salsa tolerance. Nobody, at least nobody alive, was on the premises, from my vantage point. Two buildings lay before me, both of which looked dark. Dusty railway cars on the track across the street. Is that where they would find my body, inside one of those, with the others? But, as I walked closer the scent of taco meat simmering, grilling and sizzling overtook my stupid fear. Tacos have never steered me wrong. Taco makers have always been some of my favorite people. Once that scent made me realize that I wasn't about to walk up on a crime scene and be the next victim, I happily opened the door. No customers but a young alive girl was behind the counter. Happy colors, neon, seriously the best salsa bar I have ever come across - they even had homemade, warm salsa macha on the side and everything else was cold and fresh because the condiments are covered in a literal steel trap to keep everything clean and sanitary. I had ordered my meal to go, and people started rolling up as I was leaving so I guess the party was about to start without me. Then I got my tacos home!! Exclamation point because they deserve it. I ordered two queso tacos that, of course, came with consumme. My eyes rolled back in my head when I took the first bite. The beef was juicy, flavorful, tender and the consumme complimented it beautifully. And when have ever been treated to so much cheese in a queso taco? Never. And the good, thick Mexican cheese, melted and abundant. Not some tasteless, cheap, inconsequential slop. My only regret? I live 10 miles away up a mountain and I couldn't run right back and order one more queso taco! I was literally starving for one more. So, I made some poverty nachos - cheap tortilla chips with cheddar melted on top in a microwave - and dipped them in the consumme. Well, actually I had another regret: I wasn't able to wash it all down with a Jamaica because they either ran out or didn't make it that today. I just know it would have been homemade and good.
