I got two Al pastor tacos and one carne asada. The Al pastor was good but I liked the carne asada better. I do wish they cut the carne asada thicker though. Line was long and the food took some time, maybe like 20 min. Also, there's not a lot of seating available during the dinner rush as a heads up

My fave taco truck, so happy they have one close to me! There's half a dozen over LA, always open late and a line but for good reason. I only ever get the Al pastor because it's perfect. The green salsa is amazing. The sopes and the papa relleno are yummy

My family and I love Leo's Tacos!!! They're open late and are always consistently good. Service is fast and friendly. They have great salsas and sides. Out of all the late night taco options, Leo's is always the best. Their pastor and cabeza are super delicious!

I finally tried Leo's Tacos food truck and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I ordered the al pastor tacos and the asada nachos, and both were incredibly satisfying. The al pastor came straight off the spit and was topped with a fresh slice of pineapple, giving each bite that perfect balance of smoky, savory, and slightly sweet. The asada nachos were generously loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients and didn't feel skimpy at all. One of the best parts is the variety of add ons available. Lime, radish, multiple salsas, onion and cilantro, and jalapeños let you customize everything exactly to your liking. Seating is on the corner of a busy intersection, so there's definitely some street noise depending on the time of day. That said, the food is more than worth it. If you're craving great tacos with bold flavors, Leo's Tacos is a must try.

I usually only get the al pastor tacos and burritos here. The al pastor and asada is good here, but just not quite 5 star worthy. The tacos are $2.30 each. Parking is super easy and the lot is usually not full. They have all the salsas, onions, cilantro, etc. that you would expect from a taco stand. This location is an easy and convenient taco truck to satisfy my al pastor cravings.

So grateful I found this place on Apple Maps. I came at a random time when no one was here and the food was still incredibly fresh. I got Carnitas and Al Pastor served with all the great toppings and a fantastic green salsa. Great drinks selection as well. I will definitely be back. Muchas gracias!

I visited the popular Leo's Taco today at lunch, arrived before the lunch crowd. Every-time I pass the truck there's a line. Today I Ordered a regular chicken burrito. It was $12 plus tax and an additional $1.00 when using a credit card. The extra $1.00 fee was noted on the truck, but there was no pricing listed for any food items. Only pics of the food. My order took about 5-7 minutes before my number was called. Brush up on your counting in Spanish or remember who you ordered after. My order number was immediately said in English, whew !! When your order is ready for pick-up you're given choices of , lime, radish, salsa, onion and cilantro. I took it to go because it was windy and cold. They do have tables and stools to sit on for outside eating. My chicken burrito was flavorful and a generous size!! Midway through devouring it I realized i hadn't taken a picture. Four stars due to no pricing of the food listed. I will go back!!

Leos taco truck is conveniently located at the intersection of Wardlow and los coyotes diagonal. Best tacos in the area and reasonable prices. My favorite part besides the food is the bottle of cokes that they offer. Al pastor tacos are cooked from the traditional vertical skewer and served with pineapple. Carne Asada meat is also very good. They always serve you with your choice of red or green salsa, radishes, and cucumbers, and limes. Excellent services and outside seating is folding chairs and tables they provide themselves.

Not sure why the reviews are just meh; this place is great! Spent thanksgiving on a taco crawl in the area and these were my personal favorite. I love an Al pastor taco that has a little crisp to it. Tacos don't look special, but they taste great! Service was kind and truck has a few tables nearby so nice to sit and eat. It was very popular but they move quick.

At the time, I enjoyed the food and considered the drive worthwhile. However, after the restaurant changed cooks, I noticed a decline in the overall quality and stopped returning. Today, I decided to give it another try and stopped by for a small bite. I ordered the vampiro, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The meat lacked noticeable seasoning or flavor, which was particularly disappointing given the restaurant's claim of cooking with mesquite coals. The tortilla topping also appeared to be more like a pre-made tostada than a tortilla toasted over an open flame. Traditionally, I would expect a lightly charred tortilla, which adds flavor and texture to the dish. Based on this visit, the quality has not returned to what I remember from two years ago. I was disappointed with the food and do not plan to come back to this location or any other for that matter.

Upon arriving, I encountered a bit of a wait--there were at least 15 folks ahead of me in line, eagerly anticipating their delicious orders. After standing in line for about 10 minutes, I could sense excitement building in the air as the line inched forward. As I observed the scene, I couldn't help but feel the buzz of anticipation surrounding me.. The flavors of sweet marinated pork and fresh pineapple have a way of dancing on your palate. They have a sit-down restaurant, a karaoke room, and even a walk-up window outside if you're just looking to grab something quickly. They're known for their tacos and their spicy habanero salsa, which definitely is spicy, be warned. LOL If you're dining inside, the chips and salsa are top-tier. Sooooo good and addicting! My personal favorite is the shrimp quesadillas. They're tiny, but mighty when it comes to flavor! I also like ordering their oysters. So far, they've always been clean, fresh, and hit the spot. They also have Micheladas, both the traditional version made with alcohol and a non-alcoholic version made with mineral water. Both are really good, and I highly recommend giving them a try! And for dessert, the rice pudding is served cold, and it's honestly one of the best I've had. Everyone I've brought here has been happy with their food and their choices, which says a lot because I've brought many friends and family here. As far as parking goes, you can usually find street parking, there's a parking lot, and there's also parking behind the restaurant. I will say the neighborhood is a little sketchy, but if you're local, it's really not a big deal. If you're coming from outside the city and aren't familiar with the area, I'd recommend just dining inside. There's a lot of homeless and liquor store activities across the street. It's usually not a big deal, but again if you're not used to it, you may freak out. Overall, El Sauz is one of my go-to spots for the late-night munchies, post concert, club, bar etc.
