If I could give this place a 10 star rating I would!!! I had to unexpectedly replace 10 yr. old sheet vinyl flooring in excellent condition sheet after replacing internal sewer. The pattern was no longer available anywhere! I was a crazy woman. Indecisive, frustrated, confused, overthinking, and dealing with family in the hospital. Joe was extremely pleasant to work with and very understanding and accommodating to our request for a 3 room original hardwood floor refinish job on our 1939 home, all within a rushed, move-in timeline. We received a very reasonable quote that also covered a framing and repair of a hole left by the removal of an old floor furnace. I can't begin to describe the absolutely gorgeous finish Luis was able to work out of these old floors. And you can't even tell where the floor furnace was - the feathering in replacement of 3/8 inch oak flooring is beautiful and seamless. Shortly after the entire situation took place, Joe did call and we spoke, he offered to refund me the baseboard price and to do the job again, a third time and he promised it would be done correctly. I have to really be blown away to write a review and after working with Joe at Leonard's I felt that I just had to say what a wonderful experience it was. He is the most patient, accommodating person to work with. I ordered the luxury laminate from him and carpet for other rooms. We had the hard floor put in first and then with traveling and us doing other improvements in the house we wanted to wait to put in the carpet. But then it was even more spread out when I wanted to wait to put carpet into our 3rd room because of in incontinent fur child. He was so understanding and accommodating. He couldn't have made things easier. He totally worked on my timeline and never pressured me to get the next thing done. The other day I went to Leonard's store with my family to get a quote for our kitchen and 2 bathrooms vinyl flooring. The girl name Faith approached us and start helping us about our project. Then the man name Joe start describing about different kind of tiles and measurement. They both very helpful and professional. Next day Joe came to our house and did measurement and I agreed with his price, so he ordered on the same day and scheduled for next 2 days. Let's just start by saying that shopping for carpet can be extremely difficult. There are so many styles, options, qualities that it can be a little overwhelming. I'm the type of person that likes to research things before I buy and replacing my 14 year old carpet was no exception. I had already removed all my carpet and pad so this job should be straight forward. Since I love Yelp, I started there. There were a few businesses with very high ratings so I went to see them. It's not that they weren't great, but they weren't great at giving me what I wanted. In the first one, at the $3/sq ft budget I was looking at they pretty much offered me one color palette which was all different shades of salt and pepper browns and greys in polyester. Every time I referenced a color I saw that I did like they would say that it was out of my price range. My spider senses were tingling as I felt I was being sold what they had the best margin on, not what I wanted. Next stop was to Lowes and Home Depot. They had a decent selection but all the negative Yelp reviews on crappy installation scared me. I was about to throw in the towel and accept the salt and pepper mess because living on plywood floors was really getting annoying. The constant tap dancing of the dogs walking around all night was enough to drive anyone insane. Then driving home one night I saw Leonard's discount carpet and pulled over on a whim. Joe was there and after 10 minutes I was sold. He gave me about 8 different brands and qualities in my price range all with the colors I wanted. I chose a nylon high quality carpet from Shaw that was much less than I expected to pay. I was getting a high quality nylon that was cheaper than the polyester carpet I was quoted from the other guys. The install was great. I cleared all the rooms to make it easier for the installers. The two guys that installed it spent the entire day there and did a fantastic job. I have stairs and the way they added wood and rolled it over the sides made it look amazing. So much better than it did before. The surprising part is that even though they've been around for years, they didn't even show up on my Yelp search. When I put in the name and location I could find them but I'm still a little surprised that they didn't show up in a general carpet search in my area. In the end I'm glad I found them, the process was great and I got an awesome install of the color I really wanted. If you need carpet, give these guys a call. read more

So looks can be deceiving. The store front is quite bland, in a nondescript part of Tujunga, which is a blue collar sort of town. But things immediately improve when you walk in the store and start asking questions. They take all the time you need. They show you all of your options. Zero pressure, and as polite and helpful as you would ever want. They got samples for me of the custom color I was looking for. Their prices were better than the big box stores, their service was also more attentive, more informative, and more personalized. They did everything they said they would do, they kept their promises on time lines and produced the custom color I was looking for. Their installers were the consummate professionals... polite, hard working, thorough, and careful. Those installers are real experts. They even vacuumed and cleaned up afterwards. I'm so confident in Leonard's carpets that next time I need carpet, I won't even bother to shop around and compare. Leonard's is the only carpet store I will ever use again. I decided to go to Leonard's because they offered free estimates. I had a set limit on what I could spend and the very helpful salesman worked with me and my budget. When he said the estimate included everything, pad and installation, I was hooked! I am reccomending them to everyone!
