I have been wanting a new mattress for a while. Recently, my back started spasming and I could not wait any longer. Based on the favorable reviews I saw, we made our way up to Montrose to Mattress Depot. We wondered in and were warmly greeted by Adis. I explained my situation and said that I needed a firm and supportive mattress. He took us to a few beds to try. We even tried the expensive Tempur-pedic mattress. That didn't work for me as it was too soft. We ended up between two more traditional styles and I ended up with the Airloom. Adis was very patient and explained the pros and cons of each mattress for us. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. In the end, we made up our own minds and feel we got the best one for us. He was able to work with us a little on the price and we made our purchase. He told us a week to 10 days for delivery and it was exactly that. We had the mattress delivered this morning and the delivery guys were great. They even fixed a broken bit on our frame. I have to say that the new mattress is so great. We are loving it. Stopped by this store last week as I was long overdue to replace my 10+ year old mattress. Adis assisted me and was able to quickly give a few suggestions of what mattress might suit my needs as a back sleeper that wanted a cooling type mattress. I also was able to try out some of the more premium mattress on offer from Stearns & Foster, Aireloom, and even a Tempurpedic smart bed with bluetooth speakers and a massage function?! I'm not a shopper; when my boyfriend of 13 years had to move to a memory care facility I decided I was done with relationships and took my Costco queen mattress and boxspring to the dump(antique bed frame tbd) and took my roommate's antique brass bed (full size mattress needed) as he down sized to a twin. I often use the Verdugo City Post Office so I remembered that it was near a mattress store. After a quick google search got the info; went in on a Wednesday afternoon ; owner was super nice ; after determining that I'm a side sleeper he directed me to the center of the store ; in record time chose a mattress, picked it up in my roommate 's junky landscape truck ; I turned 60 this year.. basically I 've been sleeping on plastic for 2/3 of my life! Walked into mattress depot after being referred by a friend who said we needed to go see Adis at Mattress Depot. Being from Santa Clarita we decided to take the drive. The last time I bought a mattress was over a decade ago and it was from one of those big box chain stores. This time I did a little more research and discovered Mattress Depot. This place is the BEST. Adis immediately helped us and asked us us what we were looking for. We showed him the tag from our old bed and told him what we liked and didn't like about it. Adis accurately guessed when we had bought it, let us know it had been discontinued and quickly recommended what would address our needs. After laying on 8 or so different models, we went back to the very first bed he recommended. It could not have been a better or more comfortable experience.
