Simply outstanding! The food was phenomenal. Extremely flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The portions were adequate and priced accordingly. We tried several dishes all of which tasted great. Our servers were personable, friendly and took a genuine interest in customer satisfaction. Our servers working as a team ensured our water glasses remained full throughout our entire meal. Without question, one of the best meals I've ever had. However, I would be remiss if I didn't mention our wine tasting experience with our host Vicky. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about the various wines and assorted blends, her pleasant personality coupled with her professionalism made for one of the best wine tasting experiences I've ever had. She wasn't pushy or overbearing and never made us feel obligated to purchase wine. We were allowed to Enjoy the wine which, made our experience much more enjoyable. Vicky is an outstanding representative of the company and definitely has customer service at the forefront. We ended up purchasing several bottles based on our interactions with Vicky. I had great service, idk what the low star reviews r about, some people r just having bad days. We walked in, two dudes on a Saturday around 3pm (work lunch) full bar and full dining room, we said we'll just see how long the wait is fully expecting to not get a table and have to find a spot at the bar, and they gave us a table!! Not a great experience. Food was okay. Wine was great. Ambiance was nice. Service however was not at all good. Restaurant felt very understaffed and messy. Food orders came all out at random times and many times to the wrong people at the table. Waitress got an order wrong and then alluded to us changing our mind last minute when she got the order down wrong. We ask for more pita bread for the hummus platter and that amounted to an additional $30 dollars on the tab. Everything just felt like nickle and dimed each step of the way at this restaurant and not once did we have a waiter come by and ask how everything was going. While the scenery was great this place might as well be a cafe than a restaurant given the lack of hospitality and service. read more

The food is terrible! If you're coming for that reason find another restaurant. Service is super slow. I even had to hold the check in the air to get the waiter to notice. Things we ordered organic chicken, filet, and New York strip oh and an order by of the fries. Chicken was alright but the sides that come with it coconut rice was dry and had a funky taste like grass....New York was cut up and stacked on top of fingerlings the New York strip was terrible so chewy I felt I was eat octopus the sauce was supposed to be garlic butter but it was just butter and it was supposed to be grilled but there was no char....ewww, filet was alright it comes on top of Whipped potatoes and some mini beets and mini zucchini which I ate all my veggies they were the best part steak was ok the cheese that looked like they whipped on the corner of my steak was pure salt tasting needless to say they need to work on there menu your not feeding just drunk people....the fries were the best part but still just ok. read more

Walked in thinking there was no way we would get a tasting for 5 people - there were SO many cars in the parking lot but this property is surprisingly big and the majority of people there were either at the restaurant or in the members only sections. The walk in tasting bar was almost empty, so don't be discouraged if the lot is full. I really enjoyed their reds especially the cab franc, and everyone pouring wine was informative and friendly. Their late harvest dessert wine was heavenly as well. I will come back here definitely. I wish I had bought a bottle of something. read more

LOVE this winery! The views are amazing and they have some of my favorite Temecula valley wines. One of my friends is a wine club member here so its always a must stop when we visit Temecula, we even made sure to select the shipments for "pick-up" so it gives us a reason to visit the winery. The winery offers valet parking in front and self parking in back, be advised most of the self-parking is located on a dirt lot so FYI depending on what shoes you are wearing. Additionally, regardless of whether you are a member or not there is not a bad seat in the house. I would definitely recommend signing up for wine the club, probably one of the best wine clubs in Temecula. We have visited pre-COVID and during COVID. Be advised that reservations are required now when visiting the winery, its suggested to make reservations at least 2 week in advance if you are planning a weekend visit. read more

We so looked forward to this but totally disappointed. The only good thing was the wine, a cold white Viognier, and our competent waitress, Amanda. It was a very hot Saturday. Patio dining with misters and music looked more comfortable, but only for wine club members on weekends. We aren't, and didn't know. We sat 20 minutes in the shade waiting for a table in the dining room and should have just eaten out there as the restaurant was so hot, no AC, and very noisy with large rowdy parties. We were a party of 2 and couldn't hear each other talk. The caprese salad looks very pretty but we couldn't taste the basil at all, the fries were not crispy. The only entrees offered were hot dishes, no sandwiches or cooler offerings. Should have just had salad or a charcuterie for 2. Not even bread was offered with our meal. The meal I had was a braised short rib with pasta, very skimpy on the meat and comes garnished with 2 pieces of pork belly that I almost threw up. Gross. I didn't realize at first what it was. Hubby had the duck which was pretty bland and served over potato gnocchi that had no flavor. An expensive lunch, we wish we'd eaten elsewhere, in air conditioning. Even our waitress was sweating, poor thing. She deserved the tip she got though. read more

Went for dinner for two, we ordered Wild Kale Salad and I ordered the Leoness Signature Caesar Salad. Will say both were yummy nothing spectacular but very yummy. We also ordered Oven Roasted Bone Marrow which took a while to arrive. The Bone Marrow was beyond extremely salty it was like eating a spoon of salt. It was definitely something no human can eat. We informed our waitress we couldn't eat it and asked for a different one, she informed us they had no more. We ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner. As we were about to place our dinner order, our waitress informed us that they had no shrimp and no halibut? It made my husband and I question this restaurant, how such a white clothe restaurant runs out of so many main choices from the menu?? We both ordered the Cast Iron Prime Filet Mignon one rare and I ordered mine medium well. Once our dinner came the server clearly asked Rare? My husband responded me the server placed his plate in front of him and I was served the Medium Well. Being that, I am a very slow eater. By the time I took a third piece of my filet mignon. We both realized the server gave us each of the wrong Plate. By this time it my husband was almost done with his dinner. We both realized we made a big mistake coming in here for Dinner. when we informed the waitress, she giggled didn't apologize or bother to make it right in anyway. This dinner was definitely not worth $200!!! Sadly we will never go back nor will we recommend LEONESS to anyone. The issue here is their food quality. I had a late lunch there yesterday a s dos not enjoy what was served at all. Their food did not have flavor. Their fries were soggy and overcooked as well as too much pepper. Theie signature caesar salad was brownish in color and texture. Whoever made it, drenched it in Ranch to the point were I could not eat it. Their baked bread was item we enjoyed. The rest of the meal was not as good as advertised. Price is high but not concerned. Just was hoping for a better experience. The servers were all great. The only bright spot here. Would not be going back to that restaurant. Whenever we visit eastern Temecula, Leoness is always on our list. This past visit however was disappointing. Typically we love the fun atmosphere, the wonderful service and the yummy wines. This particular visit however, we were served by Vicky, she only had us and another gentleman to serve, yet she seemed annoyed that we were there. No wine recommendations, no conversation just, " what will you try next?". Very unusual for this place and very disappointing. This was my first time going to the This place. Janice was helping out the minute we got there and was amazing. She helped us with our party of 6. We ourchase the charcuterie board, Truffle fries and, bacon fries as she recommended and no regrets they tasted so delicious! For wine she recommended bottle because we knew what we liked and for our group was best option. We purchased the white merlot and muscat canelli. My favorite was the muscat tasted more of apple crisp the other one was more strawberry. Both still good and sweet wine. Our group end up buying a mix of white case which was really good deal only down fall we don't know what's on there. But I'm sure will be good. Our experience was great. We came here to check out Leoness for our wedding venue and ended staying for lunch.....and WOW! So glad we did! The food was amazing! Highly recommend the lamb and the chicken!! Amanda P. gave us great service as well! And oh yeah....we ended up hiring Leoness for our wedding! I have to give a VERY special shoutout to an extraordinary person at Leoness....Melody Miller! When we first went to tour the vineyard for our wedding venue we were greeted by Melody and Deanna. Mind you this was our 3rd tour of the day and I had my fill of wedding coordinators trying to pitch us and convince us their vineyard was where we should have our wedding. Melody was different from the start! (And I'll say this....Leoness Cellars sells itself! Stunning property!) She really had a feel for me (my partner was unfortunately home with covid so I was facetiming him during the tour), our wants and needs. When she said "I want you guys to have the wedding of your dreams!" I really believed her.....more so than anyone else I met that day or during any other venue tour. After the tour we sat and went over the pricing, and never once did I feel any pressure from her. A few days later Melody informed me that she was leaving Leoness for personal family business and I have to say that it REALLY bummed me out. BUT she gave me her information and let me know that if there was anything she could do to help us to make our dream wedding come true she would do her best....again.....I TOTALLY BELIEVED HER! I kept in touch with her even though Deanna was our contact person from that point on. Deanna left a VERY bad taste in my mouth and lacks the connection and sincerity to be a good wedding coordinator. So much so that she completely ghosted us the day we were ready to sign the contract and pay the deposit! I reached out to Melody and she informed me that Deanna quit!!! SERIOUSLY?!?! I had no idea who to talk to at that point because we didn't want to lose the date for our wedding! Like a superhero swooping in to save the day, Melody told me not to worry and that she knew who was taking over and would make the call for us to ensure we would have the wedding of our dreams! (Are you seeing the theme here?!?) Melody bent over backwards for us to make things happen even though she was not longer working at Leoness Cellars! SHE LITERALLY SAVED OUR WEDDING! That is how much she genuinely cares about her clients!! She put us in contact with Ryan, who is picking up the mess that Deanna left and I have to say that so far he is doing a remarkable job!
