Our family had an amazing experience at Leoness Cellars! We were visiting from Florida, and for many of us, this was our first winery, vineyard, and wine tasting experience. I accidentally mixed up our reservation time, and although we arrived late, the team was incredibly accommodating and still gave us a wonderful hosted tasting. We truly appreciated their kindness and flexibility. Our host, Evan, was outstanding! He was personable, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He answered all of our questions, shared fascinating insights about the wines, vineyard, and winemaking process, and made the experience both fun and memorable. We had matching family trip shirts with a checklist of activities for our California vacation, and we asked Evan if he'd help us check off our winery experience. Without hesitation, he grabbed a marker and joined in, making the moment even more special for our family. Thank you, Evan, and the entire Leoness team, for making our first wine tasting experience one we'll never forget. We highly recommend Leoness Cellars and hope to visit again on a future trip to Temecula!

This place was delicious!! Came with my sister and our friends for lunch. The portions were great and the flavor was over the top!! I had the pork chop and when I tell you, it was so good I picked it up to make sure I got all the meat off of it!! The bacon Parm fries were great. My sister had the paella and we're very picky with our paella. She loved it! My friend enjoyed a Caesar salad with steak added it was perfectly cooked!! It's a bright and airy space. Very pretty location. Breanna was our server and she gave great recommendations for wine pairings. I will definitely be dining here again when I return to Temecula.

4.25. Would love to rate my experience 5 but the waitstaff was very slow. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our meal very much! But we constantly had to look for our waiter to ask for menus, dessert, to pay. I had the cioppino which was delicious and the truffle fries, also very tasty! The location is gorgeous and I even became a member! I'm hoping the next time the wait is much more reasonable.

Recently, I went to Leoness Cellars for the second time. My friend, who is a member, organized a small luncheon with six wine-loving women for her birthday. Leoness is really beautiful. The members lunch area overlooks the hills and vineyards. They have an adorable tasting room and gift shop. It is also dog friendly. I even saw dogs in the indoor restaurant. I really enjoyed the wines. Last time, we tasted several reds, and I remember really enjoying the zinfandel. This time, our group shared a few bottles of Syrah. The Syrah was dry, yet had lots of flavor. I really liked that they allowed my friend to use her membership tastings so us ladies could drink free glasses at lunch. She also was able to use her membership bottles so that we could drink at lunch without a corkage fee. The service was great, and our server checked on us regularly, with guests arriving at different times. I enjoyed my wild mushroom flatbread and salad. Along with the wine, it made for a perfect lunch. I definitely recommend Leoness if you are planning to visit Temecula.

This was my first time at the winery. The service was amazing. Our server, Serenity, was AWESOME! She helped me to understand wines and recommended several wines that she thought I might like. She didn't steer me wrong. Very knowledgeable, nice, a pleasure to converse with. Engaging. She made it a memorable experience. The winery was very relaxing. We could just sit back, relax, and sip wine.

Wow... I can't believe it's been 10 years since my last review, sorry Leoness and staff. Well, what I can say for sure is that it continues to be a great place to visit. Each time we've come, we've had such a wonderful time. The food is always delicious and their variety of wines are superb. We recently came and brought new friends and they loved it. I understand that a larger group can be a bit overwhelming for the servers so we always try to commend them and thank them for their patience. This time it was Luke and like all Leoness staff, he was attentive, patient and knowledgeable. We asked him about his favorite wines and his recommendations were great! Wineries always have such a relaxing ambiance and beautiful atmosphere. Leoness is no exception and actually an exemplary winery when it comes to customer service. Always look forward to coming back!

I've been coming in here for 20 years and my husband and I have been members for years! We love the wine and ambiance! Views are gorgeous! But today, I want to talk about our amazing wine pourer, LISA! This as our first encounter with her (I believe she's new) and she went about and beyond for us! The kind of customer service I haven't seen in a while. Lisa continue being amazing! Leoness, she's a keeper!

My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway in Temecula, and one of our favorite stops ended up being Leoness Winery. From the moment we arrived, it just felt like one of those places you want to slow down and soak in. It was a bright, sunny day, and the views of the vineyards were absolutely beautiful. We decided to dine inside at their restaurant, and it honestly felt like a fine dining experience without being overly formal or stuffy. The atmosphere was elegant but still relaxed, and everything was really well organized. The staff were attentive but never hovering. For food, I had the wild mushroom risotto, which was rich and comforting, and we also shared hummus and the Urgosa Farms spinach quail. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and pairing it all with their wine just made the experience even better. Overall, it was such a memorable stop during our trip. Great food, beautiful setting, and genuinely good service. Definitely a place I'd come back to again. It is definitely Yelp worthy

Went for the wine, stayed for the food. What a great restaurant! It is very bright and airy, and the outdoor seating by the water feature is very relaxing. The service was excellent, from our server to the busser, everybody was very efficient and friendly. I'm looking forward to going back to Temecula, specifically to go back to this wine, winery and restaurant.

My favorite winery in Temecula. The vibe is beautiful and food at restaurant is good! We came here twice the past weekend. Parking is tough in the weekend so recommend coming in weekday or early weekend. The first time we came we sat at the restaurant and ordered glasses of wine salad and duck fat liver dip. Both dishes were delicious and the Syrah was my favorite wine. For the tasting, they offer 5 one oz glass for $30. We loved the Zinfandel and the cab! On weekdays the member only Terrance is available foe nonmembers so we sat there for lunch on a Monday. The food is better at restaurants but the duck fat fries were delicious! Overall a beautiful winery with tasty wine and good restaurants food. Would love to come back here again during dinner!

Greg did my wine tasting, and he was so nice and so helpful he was spot on with all of my glasses. He took his time and gave us excellent service. I would definitely recommend coming in and doing a tasting with him, he's so good that I thought he was a manager. He definitely deserves all the praise, thank you for the amazing service!

My family's favorite winery! Beautiful scenery, quality wines, delicious food, and very accommodating service. We always have such a fun time here and can spend a whole day laughing, soaking in the ambiance and enjoying each other's company. We try to make a trip here any time we visit, and my family are members so it's nice that we get free tastings and they get wine to take home that we can try more of. The seating is always full but it never feels too busy or crowded. Valet parking is available or there is also self-parking on the gravel lot in the back. Definitely recommend visiting, enjoy!

Hi Roe, The Restaurant at Leoness is open to everyone during our regular business hours Fridays -…

    Cost of tasting?

Hi Lorraine, Here are two options for you for tastings at Leoness:…

Is it true that Leoness now charges $40 for parking?

No No, I didn't pay anything for the parking.

    Are you wheelchair accessible?

Hi Anna! Yes, our property meets ADA requirements.

Do i need to make a reservation for 2 for wine tasting or just for the restaurant?

No, you can just walk in for a tasting for 2!

    Is this location pet friendly?

We are. Services dogs only on the Member's Terraces and in the Tasting Room due to limited spacing and then all other friendly dogs are allowed around the outdoor property (restaurant patio seating only). We do ask that they remain on their leash…

Is reservations recommended for party of 4 on a Saturday?

Yes, I highly recommend making reservations. specifically, on the weekends.

Does the restaurant have air conditioning?

No AIR CONDITIONING IN THE RESTAURANT AREA. JUST FANS. AIR CONDITIONING IS ONLY IN THE TASTING ROOM

We booked the Wine & Dine option. Is a friendly, quiet, and well behaved dog allowed with us?

Hi there! Please call our Guest Services Department at 951.302.7601 ex 2 so that they may double check if there are others on this particular tour with you.

Just have interested to know is the restaurant outdoor seating still not pet friendly?

At the restaurant, we allow pets outside on the patio, just not inside.

Can you make a resteraunt reservation for two? Or is it First come first serve.?

Reservations are recommended for a group of 6 and more. For two it should be ok to walk in. I have done that before. (If you are planning to go on a holiday weekend it might be better to call and make a reservation )

Can you order and eat food while the rest of your party tastes wine on the tour? (not in the restaurant)

I didn't see anyone eating in the tasting area in my last visit. Only people eating was in the restaurant.

Hi Maria! Our mimosas are available by the glass.

    Is the restaurant dog friendy?

I did not see any dogs when I was there but I'm sure therapy dogs are welcome.

Do we need to reserve for wine tastings for a group of 10?

No. The lower area for tasting has lots of space. It does get busy.

Is there live music on the weekend?

Not right now...but pre lockdown they did have a solo artist there performing acoustically on Saturday and/or Sunday...typically a few hours or so...I would guess they start that again as we get closer to summer

    Are you dog friendly?

Hi Kris! We do allow service dogs only on our Member’s Terraces due to spacing limitations. All other dogs are welcome around the outdoors provided they remain on their leash,…

Is the restaurant open on Tuesdays?

Hi Shinea! The restaurant is open weekends only. Friday 11:30-6:00pm, Saturday 11:30-6:00pm and…

Are you allowing outside food when wine tasting?

Hi Danielle! Thank you for asking prior to visiting us at the winery. We do not allow outside food or drink on property. Please call our host department for options on food service at 951.302.7601 ex 2.

I was unable to see this on their website, but does anyone know if they're vegan-friendly? or offer vegan options?

If you're asking about food, I would say they do not have a dedicated vegan section on either the terrace or restaurant menu...however they have veggie shareables at the terrace and restaurant; a roasted beet salad, strawberry salad, Brussel…

What they call the sweet red wines, which are actually not dessert wines, are pretty good, though I suspect too sweet for most. Most of their other reds are very dry, if that is your thing. I didn't care for them. The negatives: Dirt parking lot. Definite car wash after visiting. The wine tasting room and the restaurant are in the same room. It's very unbecoming of a place like this. Speaking of which, the MAJOR downer, which is why this gets a 3 star review, is its like they ran out of money when they got to the wine tasting room and restaurant, which for some reason were combined. The wine tasting room and restaurant are like a glorified high school cafe. It's completely inconsistent with the rest of the place. It took all the pleasure out of wine tasting - like drinking wine out of a coffee cup. The food was ok but not spectacular. The gyros were good, the caramel lava cake was awful. It was like taking a 6 pack of small funnel cakes from Ralph's and pouring liquid caramel purchased from another aisle down the center of it. Why not true Persian food, if you're going to give the place and half the wines a Persian name? And why not higher quality food? ------ It was a relative ghost town here on a Friday, and from there we went to Europa Village and it was completely packed. Totally different vibe that was electric. Made me realize even more why Fazeli was so underwhelming. Wish we would have eaten at Europa.

First and foremost, I will NEVER be visiting this winery EVER again. To anyone that reads this…read morereview, YOU ARE WARNED you will be subjected to the worst experience and customer service that you will probably have to ever endure. My Wife and I are appalled over what happened. To the Business Owner, Cane V., you need to train your employees, the faces of YOUR everyday business, to be more EMOTIONALLY INTUITIVE and PROFESSIONAL and have GENERAL MATURITY. Where do I start? If you are looking for a winery that has an unprofessional, rowdy brewery atmosphere that attracts Entitled Stank Faced Boomer Temecula Wine Moms and their Snobby Little Cliques LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Our Experience: my Wife and I came over to sample some wines from this winery that was recommended from a friend. On the Winery Website, you can do 2 different types of wine tastings: Classic Tastings of 6 wines of your choice or a Private Wine Tasting of 8 different ones for a higher price. This is what initially attracted my Wife and I to this winery in the first place (big mistake on our end). Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that wine tasting is no longer being offered at all. The incompetent red haired bartender at the front entrance provided us with no other alternative other than "Yea we don't offer that anymore, you can do by the glass or by the bottle." Her tone changed completely when I asked her about the Club they advertise everywhere. She then tells us that they are booked for the day, however the BAR and LAWN area are open seating, after 8PM everything is open seating. It was 6:30/7PM so we decided by that point, we'll wait for a spot to open up and enjoy some wine then in the meantime. We figured, it's just the 2 of us so we should have luck finding a spot. At the bar area, I noticed that 3 seats were left unattended. The people there got up and left, no drinks were left behind or any "Reservation" placards were placed to notify people. I walk over, sit down and wave to my Wife to come and sit at the bar area. We sat down, sipped some of our wine for 10-15 minutes. Bar had 2 people working, a gentleman and heavier set Blonde lady. Both of them never said anything and nothing was ever exchanged between us and the heavier set Blond lady. I was even thinking about buying a beer or cocktail and thankfully I didn't. Shortly after this time, an EXTREMELY RUDE, ENTITLED, and VISIBLY DRUNK lady and her husband RUDLY went in between my Wife and I and COMMANDED we leave her spots. My Wife and I laughed at her and were genuinely confused because the BAR IS OPEN SEATING, THERE ARE NO RESERVATIONS FOR OPEN SEATING. She then gets even more angry and DEMANDS we leave or else, says to my Wife and I "YOU're GOING TO LEAVE NOW," I tell the lady to kick rocks, it's open seating then she enters the bar area to talk to the heavier set Blond bar tender that we wont move. The Blond bar tender THEN has the AUDACITY to tell us "They have been sitting here all night, YOU TWO need to leave immediately." My Wife and I look at each other and absolutely laugh it off at the sheer absurdity of everyone's tone towards us. Who do you think you are to blatantly kick us out ON OPEN SEATING? Either you are severely undertrained from the Owner or you as a staff member play favorites with other entitled customers. Both of which are absolutely absurd. Upon this interaction, my Wife and I leave and go right down the street to Europa Winery and sampled several wines and had a $250 dinner at Bolero. Here, the experience was a complete 180° and we should've never wasted our time at Miramonte Winery being subjected to the nastiness from the Temecula Trash. If you are a large party, or wanting to host private events, I STRONGLY recommend ANYWHERE else besides Miramonte Winery. The Staff here is atrocious, rude, immature and ugly. I pride myself in never leaving nasty reviews but this experience changed everything moving forward.
