This place is where you come to be treated like family! I feel so lucky to have found Leo's Body Shop and will be continuing to support them. I moved out of Edgewater but it is still worth the longer journey. I am treated with not just respect here but immense kindness and compassion. I came in with cash to pay but while notifying them on my way they informed me the had to order an extra part adding about $15 to my final total. I made the most expensive mistake I've ever made recently, I hit something in the road and subsequently, there was a gash down the entire door of my Toyota Solara. I looked at a few different body shops around town, and ultimately decided on Leo's because of their reputation and proximity to me. I've got to say- after the whole experience, I can see why they have such a good reputation. The lady at the front desk is very nice and understanding, and communicated very well with me about the process from beginning to end. It took about two weeks to get a new door on, and now the car looks brand new! Not to mention the little details: they took extra steps to clean my car, I noticed when I got in. I have a 2012 Nissan Versa and I had to change my plates and since it's an outside car, I almost broke my hand trying to get the screws off. They were basically melted into the metal. I've used Leo's several times over the years, mainly for body work and minor repairs. They've always been trustworthy and do great work! Domi is one of the most wholeheartedly honest and caring people I have ever encountered. During my most recent interaction, I had gotten into a fender bender with my own parking gate (the gate won) and taken the car to Leo's for an estimate. I was approx 20wks preg at that time and was shaken as my son was in the car when the accident happened. Anyone can give you an estimate, but Domi genuinely cared for my safety and that of my son, asking if we were both ok before even looking at the car. She also reassured me that the car damage wasn't anything to be concerned about and she's seen much worse. This made me feel SO much better, as I was feeling like a total loser for what happened. Domi also accommodated my schedule, conscious of us only having one car. With a toddler and a baby on the way, reliable transportation was a necessity. This was also a during Covid and public trans wasn't a desirable option. She scheduled the repair based on my schedule and delivered promptly! This single experience is reflective of all the interactions I've had at Leo's. They've set very high expectations for me when it comes to car repair. 6 months late but still worth the review. First off, Domie was one off the sweetest and most helpful people. In person and over the phone she answered all the questions I had and was just wonderful. On to the car, George did an amazing job on my car and I can't thank him enough. I took my van in for body work after a semi truck tore the front and side off my parked van. Immediately i was impressed by the excellent customer service. I was assisted in getting my van towed to the shop and all my questions were answered prior to any repairs. After the work was completed i was extremely satisfied with the outcome. The van was back to looking new! The body panels and doors all lined up. And the paint work was amazing, the color was matched to look perfect. My experience with Leo's this month almost makes me wish for more body damage so that I could go back. A box truck swiped the left side of my 2005 Prius, tearing the mirror off and leaving scratches. I went to Leo's because 1) my mechanic (A&B) referred me and 2) Leo's is a preferred shop with State Farm, my insurer. Getting body work through an insurance claim was a new experience so I was learning as I went. Domie in the office was warm and friendly and easy to work with. I went out of town and picked the car up a week later. They had done the insurance paperwork--the insurance $ had gone through and I owed only the deductible. The left side looks like new. They even washed the tires. Also, they replaced the little stick-on wide-angle part of the mirror--got a new one--even though it was after-market. All of this is much appreciated. read more

QUICK STORY: Leo's is great and you should take your collision work to them! FULL STORY: Domie from Leo's did a 10/10 job on my car. While inside a Lowe's a tornado came through the parking lot (true story) and a trash can collided with my passenger side mirror, dislodging the side mirror cover / cap. Went to two other body shops and received estimates ranging from $400+ to well over $500. Those shops "assumed" that the entire mirror had to be replaced and (apparently) didn't bother to take the time to investigate and see if it actually did. Domie examined the mirror and then printed out a schematic drawing of all the pieces in the mirror showing me the pieces that needed to be replaced. None of the other shops took the time to do this; I was really impressed. Initial estimate was $323; half way through they determined an additional hour of labor was required to align the mirror properly to how it's supposed to be. EVEN WITH THAT EXTRA HOUR, it was still $50 less than next estimate. More than just the $'s involved though I felt Leo's took the extra time and effort to show me they really wanted to do it right by me. They ordered the part ahead of time, painted it the right color so that when I dropped it off it only took about 2 hours to compete. World class work. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting a deer while driving. After getting the go ahead for repairs from insurance I started to call around to many shops. Leo's was the most responsive and I felt I could trust them. Upon receiving my car they inspected not only the damaged area but the rest of the car for more damage and submitted additional claims! After having to drop off both keys with my car to the original tow company it was left with Leo's with one fob that was missing the valet key and the other fob was missing completely. The point that I am getting to is Leo's has been in contact with me every step of the way and has let me know how the everything is going. I cannot express how happy I am with the service so far.
