Despite good food and good service, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Among other things, I ordered a Caesar salad with no croutons and heavy on the anchovies. With drinks, tax and tip the meal for myself and my wife the bill approached $200. I was surprised and insulted to see a $1 surcharge for the "heavy anchovies". Should I have asked for a credit for the forgone croutons? Although I have had the same salad prepared the way in many other restaurants, I have never received a surcharge. Leo's may have scored an extra dollar, but they lost two customers. I encourage fellow diners to search for eating alternatives where customers are valued and respected, not nickeled and dimed. read more

Absolutely amazing! The food was perfect, and our server, Brooke was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and made great suggestions. We enjoyed her as we enjoyed our meal! If you are Brookes manager, she needs a raise! We had for starters, the mozzarella salad (so delicious!) made with fresh mozzarella, spring mix, tomatoes, and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My boyfriend had the oysters and they were so good, he ordered an additional two! For our entrees, he got the halibut topped with crab meat and bearnaise sauce. He described it as moist and juicy and perfect. We got a lobster tail on the side to share, perfect! I had the spinach fettuccine in a garlic butter sauce with shrimp and goat cheese. This is going to sound dramatic, but it was the best fucking pasta dish I have ever had, and I have had a LOT of pasta dishes because carbs are my favorite food. For dessert we shared a slice of the maraschino cherry ice cream cake and again, one of the best desserts I have ever had If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I WOULD We even asked for two rolls to go, and they gave us FOUR! WOW, SUPBERB, AWESOME, SPLENDID.... these were just a few of the exclamations from our party on Tuesday, Sept 25th. Service was on point with William, the restaurant is beautiful and the food was just ...see the first four words! The filet and Lobster were scrumptious. Not only was the filet cooked perfectly, the flavor was great. The presentation of the clarified butter for the beautiful rock lobster was perfect. I ate slowly. I did not want it to end. We ordered all four desserts and extra spoons and oh my goodness! I highly recommend Leo's Seafood, it would be a destination on its own for me! read more

Came yesterday for my birthday because I was craving mussels and the restaurant we originally went to was sold out of that dish. Luckily, Leo's had our back. We sat in the lounge, and got a very classic bowl of mussels with white wine and sherry. It was good, the bread on the side for dipping could have been a little bit more toasted and seemed slightly stale. My husband enjoyed the salmon corn chowder and the warm dinner rolls were delicious. We think it was the sage that made them so tasty? I decided to try the scallop appetizer because I absolutely adore warm, buttery scallops. They are so sweet and tantalizing. Sadly, when the order came and I bit into the scallop, it was colder than room temperature. Everything was seasoned really well, but the scallop was just the wrong temperature. Our waiter, TJ, checked in and we mentioned that the scallops were a little bit too cool. He offered to have the kitchen reheat them, but I declined, because scallops can easily be over cooked and then taste like rubber. Since we were not offered a replacement plate, we finished them and got our bill. It's a beautiful restaurant and the bathrooms have some floss and mouthwash in them which makes it feel fancy. I'm thankful they had the mussels and wished the scallops had been warm with a slightly better sear. Maybe we will give them another chance sometime in the future. read more

Wish I could give a 3.5 star! I went out for lunch by myself and I was really looking forward to be blown away by everything because of what I had heard from others. The food was inconsistent and the service was good. The Bloody Mary was excellent, thick, perfectly salty (5/5). The raw oysters were ok, a couple of them were spawning so they had the white sac on top. One was not fresh (3/5). The calamari was not hot and not crispy, just bland (2/5). The mussels were quite dry, really tiny and again not flavorful (1/5). Leo's Lobster Bisque was incredible. It came out piping hot with real lobster in it, very flavorful (5/5). Korean Sea Bass was delicious and came out piping hot! Thank you! The flavor was not Korean but the fish was perfectly cooked. I don't remember anything about the rice or veggies, they were forgetful (5/5). When they packed my leftover food at my table, they forgot to put my calamari in the bag. I ordered it mainly to save for my son so I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to get the calamari. The manager was very professional about it and threw in some chicken tenders for my son to make up for not packing my food correctly. However, it was super inconvenient and wasted almost an hour of my busy day. Overall, I wanted to treat myself for lunch because this mama doesn't really ever get a day to herself. I spent over $100 dining alone and Leo's did not blow me away. The ambiance was warm and lovely but the food was too inconsistent for me to want to come back. It also did not help that I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to pick up missing food. (3.5 stars) read more

Leo's is always my first choice for special occasions. I love everything here. Forgive me for no photos - I thought I'd already reviewed it here! This evening I had the surf n turf - the steak is always cooked perfectly, the lobster is done just right and the sides are tasty too! My husband got the halibut Oscar style - this is also one of my top choices. It comes with asparagus and harvest rice. I don't know what they put in that harvest rice but it's SO GOOD! Dana makes the best desserts in town but I'm usually too full to get them! I did once last summer and it was delightful! It was a chocolate Cherry Ice cream pie... and it was HUGE. Desserts are for sure shareable. If you haven't been to Leo's - do yourself a favor and make a reservation tonight. read more

First time visiting Leo's; and we had an amazing dinner. We started with the crab cake duo and they're amazing! So good, I recommend getting one just for yourself! I had the Caesar salad and personally, I would not recommend it. I didn't like the taste of the dressing honestly. For my entree, I had the surf and turf and it was delicious! My boyfriend and I went to celebrate a late Valentine's Day and our waiter, Dwight, was extremely enthusiastic and personable. He was incredibly polite, accommodating, and professional. Really nice place. I went with a group of about 15 and our food was brought out promptly after ordering. Everyone enjoyed their dish. I had the ribeye, but this is mainly a seafood place. Leo's does not skimp on the ingredients. The lumps of crab included in some of the fish dishes was impressive and I left feeling thoroughly satisfied. First time having creme brûlée. This isn't your basic seafood restaurant. High end cuisine focused on seafood is definitely not just upscale Red Lobster. We had shrimp risotto and the Scottish salmon and both were excellent. Highlight of the meal was the Tiramisu. We enjoyed this as much as any desert we've had in a while and there was more than enough to share. Prices seemed a bit high but given the rising cost of everything the cost was really very reasonable given the quality and quantity of food served. We will be back, soon. read more

Returned to Leo's last night for the first time since COVID. Sat at the bar and had a wonderful meal. The Manhattan Clam Chowder is the absolute best! I don't think I can eat at Leo's and not order this! So great! I ordered the scallops for my entree. They come wrapped with salmon...very unique and awesome! Dessert was a chocolate crème brûlée which was also terrific. The warm rolls with dinner were also great. Great wine list and great service along with the nice ambiance complete the experience.
