Nice, low key getaway near Fullerton College. You are greeted immediately upon walking up to the counter with a cheery and helpful demeanor. Steady traffic of locals coming in and out but still a chill vibe with college students and local seniors. Dining room is roomy and nicely shaded from the soaring hot sun in the summer. The Citrus Crunch Salad is delicious and well balanced with a nice blend of several kids of chopped lettuce greens, sweet orange sections, almonds and fried wonton bits. The citrus vinaigrette dressing is delicious and light. Will definitely be back to try the burgers
We walked in and were greeted by a very friendly chap behind the counter. We must have had that look because he asked if it was our first visit and it was. Menu has plenty of options. He suggested the chimichurri burger as it popular. I ordered that and chili fries. Wifey had the classic with cheese. Burgers were phenomenal. The chimichurri burger was out of this world. Place is nice clean with a big screen. Great for an outing with family or friends. Plenty of outdoor seating as well.
Super friendly staff and neat family-friendly place to get a decent burger with spacious seating. This burger spot has something for everyone even arugula salads. They have weekly specials and for a limited time you can get their Pina Colada - a tropical twist with coconut crusted pineapple. You can really customize your burger with gluten free bun and even a pretzel bun option. Pina Colada was loaded with teriyaki sauce. Cremini burger with mushrooms were good. Tip ask for bbq sauce and mustard. They do have a ketchup station. Burrata salad was a good portion with a huge ball of barrrata. Reese's special shake was good, sweet with real Reese's pieces
Such high quality burgers for a reasonable price!!! The chimmichurri was nothing short of amazing -- the perfect cheesy parsley garlicky flavor. Highly recommend that one!! However the bbq burger was a very close second. On top of that, the ONION RINGS the best onion rings I've ever had. The service was amazing and ambiance was more than I could ask for. They had live music happening outside (we came on Fathers Day) and plenty of seating!
Stopped by Uptown Burger recently and we tried three types of burgers: Tri Tip Sandwich, Chimichurri Burger, and the Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich. I wanted to see what each tasted like and I was really excited by a specific one, which was the teriyaki sandwich. We also ordered the sweet and spicy chicken wings which blew my socks off, that was so good and I was shocked with how it stayed crispy with all that sauce! The service was great, there were a lot of customers when we stopped by and everyone looked happy with the food. It was also nice because a game was on that weekend and they turned the TV on so people can watch. There were lots of seating as well! At the end of our meal, I knew I loved the teriyaki sandwich, the wings, and the chimichurri burger. My bf really liked the tri tip sandwich, and it worked out for us because he could have majority of it haha. We definitely took home left overs because it was a lot of food, can't wait to come back!
This place was easy to find in the Ralphs shoppint center. There was lots of parking available & lots of space to sit inside & outside. The place was clean and the workers were friendly. I got the pulled pork sandwich, pineapple express burger & tri tip burger. I didnt like the tri tip much but the pulled pork & pineapple express were fire. I've learned to keep my expectations low for new openings with restaurants but this spot caught my eye immediately and I had high hopes for a good new burger spot in the area. Here's what I've tried: **BBQ Burger: I was quite disappointed with this burger overall. There was a really light spread of bbq sauce in the burger that I couldn't taste anything except for the patty. I wish it was more bursting with flavor. (2/5) **Chimichurri Burger: Hands down, one of the best burgers I've ever had. Their housemade chimichurri is absolutely delicious. You can taste every ingredient including their arugula, pepper jack cheese, tomato, and pickled onion. Next time I'm for sure getting the double patty for that extra $4 charge. (5/5) **Farmer's Market Salad: Wanted to try a salad for my first visit after a hot day out in the sun and this simple salad caught my eye. It was very refreshing with all the different veggies but it was missing one thing that I was looking forward to the most, jicama. On top of that, their house made lemon vinaigrette was not good. The mint was overpowering the whole salad too. The fresh ingredients are there but the flavor profile was all over the place. (2/5) **Sweet Potato Fries: Delicious. Restaurants either make their sweet potato fries too salty or too sweet. Uptown makes them just right, no complaints. (5/5) My first visit was on a random weekday evening and the gentleman working was very kind. He was very polite and went straight into a conversation with every single person he interacted with. Since it was my first time, I asked for recommendations and that's when he recommended the BBQ Burger. I knew I should've gone with the Chimichurri but I wanted to try out a few items before writing this review. During my first visit, there were two people already waiting for their order and after I ordered, it took quite a while. My second visit, I put my pickup time for 1PM on a weekday afternoon and my order was ready by 1PM on the dot. Why am I giving them 4 stars instead of the 5? Although I really enjoyed their chimichurri burger and sweet potato fries, the other items were not up to par in my standards. Also, prepare to wait a little bit during dinner time. I'd come during the off hours unless you have time to spare. Anyways, this is a good new burger spot and I'll be peeking in from time to time when I need my burger fix that's not your typical fast food chain.
I've always enjoyed a good patty melt. Since my high school days where they had excellent sourdough and fresh made beef patties, there's something about the beef, grilled onions, melted cheese, and sharp sourdough that hits especially hard. Uptown has a very good patty melt, opting to add a roasted garlic aioli and use white cheddar instead of yellow to distinguish it from the masses. And they are welcome changes as they do nothing but increase the flavor quotient on an otherwise simple burger. The Reese's Shake was great too, even if peanut butter chunks were not as blended as I like them to be. If I can't get them up the fat straw, it's not blended enough. The service was good, if a bit slow. But it wasn't a huge deal as they were kind of busy. But they answered questions well and were very helpful in giving recommendations . They also were very helpful in explaining their weekly promotions. The ambience is good too. There is a ton of room with various two, fours, and three top booths, tables, and high tables. It's the kind of no-frills fast casual burger joint that fills in the gap between a fast food place and a true sit-down restaurant. I also liked that they said the tables are easy to push together for larger parties. All in all, this is a great place for burgers or just get together with some running. It's definitely in the running for lunch or dinner plans when I'm in the area.
Uptown Burger Company was an absolute home run! As a fellow small business owner, I decided to support his hustle, so we came to uptown and were blown away! The burgers were fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the chocolate shake was one of the best I've had in a long time. Sorta' took me back to my childhood. As an added bonus, they have gluten-free buns and other great options like salad, salads, also delicious! What really stood out, though, was the owner, Payton, a super polite, friendly young man who came out to one of our soccer games, introduced himself, and invited the entire team and all the families to come by afterward. I really respect that kind of hustle and community support. Great food, great people, and a local business that's earning its reputation the right way. We'll definitely be back!

Was on lunch and wanted a non-chain burger and decided to try Uptown. I never got to try the old Peter's Gourmade so I'm glad I stopped by to this one. Inside it's clean, there's a T.V. and it was playing the latest world cup game happening on 06/18. I ordered the classic burger and the guy at the register let me know I could upgrade to onion rings or sweet potato fries and I went with onion rings. My burger and rings were done pretty quickly. I wasn't waiting too long for my order. I ate it at home and it was delicious! The onion rings were one of the best I've had, not soggy, solid bite, big rings, not greasy. The classic burger hit the spot. Nothing too crazy, just a quality burger, big with a lot of bite and the right ratio of toppings to burger. I definitely would come back to try the Chimichurri burger. I read the reviews after I put in my order and would get that next time with a side of their onion rings. The onion rings did not come with ranch so that's another thing I would ask for if they have it.
Came in today to try it for the first time. Great location. Inside and outside seating available. Tv screen in the indoor dining area so you don't miss a sports game. Food was hot and delicious. I love supporting small business. I'll be bringing my family back soon

My kids wanted to try this place. It is in the Ralph shopping center next to Avis. The store sign maybe a little difficult to read from far away because it's in cursive. The kids had the chimichurri and cremini burgers with fries and onion rings. They loved it. At first, I thought it was on the pricier side, but to my surprise, the burger price included choice of fries, house salad, or slaw. That made it a decent value given the quality of the food. I was about to order my usual, the Cremini, when the nice lady at the register pointed out the burger of the week. I am so glad I tried it because I love me some portobello mushrooms, Munster cheese, and pesto! They did not disappoint. Test witnessing for a client in Fullerton and they looked up for a good place to go for lunch. This place had good reviews so we decided to go there. I'm so glad the client chose this place because the burger I had was not only amazing but very unique. I got the chimichuri Burger and it was so good I want to go get another one before I leave Fullerton. Quiet place and had a large tv with the world cup on. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoors although the heat here in California makes you think twice before sitting outdoors. Everyone loved their food and I had to go and get a milkshake before we left because a person in our party got the cinnamon crunch milkshake and loved it so before we left I went and got one. Great new burger spot in Fullerton. It's located in a Ralph's shopping mall with lots of easy parking. They have several curated burger combos to choose from along with chicken sandwiches and salads. I like that they give you a choice of beef, turkey, or veggie patty for your burger. I had the uptown classic with a turkey patty. So moist and flavorful you would never guess it was a turkey patty. I upgraded the fries to sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. They have lots of casual seating inside or you can order to go. Service was wonderful. They came by our table several times to chat and see how we were doing. Definitely recommend. read more

Uptown makes some amazing food! The meat has great flavor and the perfect amount of char. Service is on point and everyone is very friendly. Has a nice vibe inside. Very clean. The burger in the photo was the burger of the week. I believe it was called the Smokey Joe... I may be wrong. It was fantastic! Their fries and onion rings are cooked perfectly. Very solid burger spot! Everything came out quickly and piping hot. The Cremini burger was delicious, sometimes you don't need to overcomplicate a burger, and this one you could taste each ingredient and it was all very fresh. The patty melt was also very good, the bread was toasted to perfection and had the perfect crunch. The service was also great and the space was very clean. The staff was attentive and cleared our table after we were done. Only thing is the prices were a bit high for a burger and some fries but we will definitely be coming back to try their other items! Adding some seasoning onto the fries may help elevate the meal, the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, but I would have liked some sort of seasoning on top. Parking is in a plaza lot so plenty of space. read more

Came to the restaurant with my wife to have lunch. Ordered the teriyaki chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich came with fries so you did not have to order them separately. I liked this. The sandwich could have used more teriyaki sauce on it. I think one of the customer complaints is that the cooks are not putting enough sauce on the food. I talked to the owner about this and suggested they ask the customer if they would like a small cup of the side of the sauce that comes with the meal. That way they can add as much as they want. The owner seems enthusiastic and I hope they make it. read more

Checked out this spot during a lunch rush, and while it was packed, the line zipped along efficiently--definitely worth the short wait. Our order arrived piping hot in less than 10 minutes, which was impressive given the crowd. I went for the arugula burger, and it was a standout: the fresh greens added a peppery kick that paired perfectly with the juicy patty, and melty cheese for a unique, flavorful twist on a classic. This place was on my Instagram feed, so had to try. Joe was very kind & recommended the Chimichurri burger. I love that they make the Chimi sauce, in-house. I subbed the burger patty for chicken and Oh My, was it super yummy!!! Every ingredient was super fresh....bun was soft and not too bready, arugula was crisp and the cheese soooo melty! The food was amazing!!! The fries were especially yummy! Crispy and made to perfection!!! The hamburgers were fresh and delicious! Prices were extremely reasonable!! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Service with a smile! The room was very spacious and gave us ladies plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. While having enough room for other patrons as well! It is also nice they offer outdoor seating on gorgeous days, like today! Absolutely worth the visit!!! I can not wait to go again read more

Second visit here. First time we came, I had the bbq burger with sweet potato fries. This time round changed it up and had the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. Everything was excellent. Flavorful and the value is great. The ambiance, music, and Joe greeted us and what a good stand up guy, easy to talk to and accommodating. Very clean and organized. Will definitely be back.
