Imagine my delight in getting through a ski season, including 7 Colorado resorts, witout getting even a mark on my new skis. Applying clear adhesive to the tails (like old school Ski Saver) helped. Imagine the sadness in picking them up from an end of season wax and finding a deep gouge on both tails. Unreliable customer service and bad attitude towards customer! I recently restrung my tennis racquet at les moise Brookfield location. The frame raptured first day right after the restring during a drill. I brought it back to the store and the store manager told me there is nothing they can do about it. Since there was a major tournament that happens once a year, about 5-hours away that weekend, I had no choice but to purchase new racquets from them. Then, I found one of the new racquet wasn't strung correctly since there was a big string bubble on the side and the sound of the racquet was off. I brought the racquet back to store and the guy tried to convince me the string was good and he would need to charge me again if I need a restring. I eventually got a free restring from the store manager but was told it is the last free one. Now I wonder if the restring will rapture the racquet again. It is such a waste of time, money, and horrible customer service. I regret going there and will not use their service again. read more

Sunday 12/6 around 2pm Came here to spend my hard earned cash getting a snowboard set up and to look for some women's snow gear. They really didn't have a large selection or brands for women, mostly just Burton and Volcom - but for men they had more choices. The main reason for my low rating, aside from small selection, was that they had a mask policy enforced on the entrance door - yet almost NONE of the employees were wearing a mask over their mouth and nose. Typically I think it's good buisness practice for employees to approach a customer and let them know they're available if help is needed but I'm SO GLAD no one talked to me since they had no masks. Three young men in the snowboard department were literally talking to customers with their masks below their chins. UGH. I felt so uncomfortable! I ended up finding a pair of snow pants as fast as possible, checked out, and left. The cashier was wearing a mask properly! Props to her!! Also a customer, presumed to be a friend of said employees - came into the store - no mask! - and started chatting with the snowboard employees. I couldn't help but stare at them, like hello??? please put on your mask? I think they noticed and just turned away. Now, I know opinions differ on masks, but since covid is so new, and science has proven masks help stop germs from spreading, I err on the side of caution. I was so uncomfortable I left the store without even looking at the boards which was super disappointing. Unless they start enforcing this policy I won't be coming in again! I want to add I understand wearing a mask for an entire shift is annoying, and if the employees need a break from wearing it properly then at least go into a break room, or step outside! read more

Just got off the store on Sunday 08/30/2020 ! Bought a new pair of shoes , restring my racquet and got a new balls for my favorite tennis experience! There were two young gentlemen's Logan and Nathan ! Guys , I cannot say enough good words about you two! Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and professional! Sooo overpriced! The fact that they had 11 staff working at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon in February might explain why their prices are so high. They need to charge a lot in order to be able to pay the workers that are literally just sitting around playing on their phones. It was 3:30 on a Sunday in February and the store was crickets. No one really seemed that interested in helping us though. We asked for the pricing on the two models of ski boots they sold but were just told "like $90 or $100 dollars" without any further explanation or salesmanship. I like the selection but the prices are just not competitive and there's a smarmy, don't bother us vibe that we get from most everyone working there. It would behoove them to reduce their staff and lower their prices to turn more merchandise, but I suspect this isn't on their radar. I can't imagine that Les Moise will be around much longer than 5 to 10 years with all the other choices people have these days. read more

Exceptional Service! I was looking for a very specific pair of goggles that was completely sold out nationwide. Prior to placing an order with a company in Spain, I popped into Les Moise to see if they had any suggestions. Justin, the consultant who helped me, not only had a connection with the VP of sales for the goggle company, but was able to find the exact pair I was looking for despite their "sold out everywhere" status. My trip will now be much better with the ideal equipment in hand. Great store & great service! read more

All of my experiences shopping here have been positive ones. The staff is friendly and down-to-earth and they can provide a lot of expert advice if you're willing to take the time to talk to them. Indifferent service. It appeared as though I was inconveniencing them by calling and asking for sizing information and inventory. Plenty of online competition with the brands that they sell. Ski racers and their Associated groups spend thousands of dollars a year with this company. Seems as though they could stand to be much more customer-focused. read more

The person who i worked with was wonderful. Found everything I was looking for for ski racing (boots, armor, gs suit, etc.)

Dropped off 2 pairs of skis to be waxed and sharpened. I was told it would be a 4-5 day turnaround. A week later I called to follow-up and they couldn't find my order. A nice man said he would need to call me back, which he did promptly, he found my skis, they were not done but he said I could get them by the end of they day. When I originally was in the store there were 3 people behind the counter gossiping while I was searching for an item. No one ever came to ask if I needed help. When I eventually found what I wanted and went to check out, the big lady behind the counter appeared to be perturbed that I interrupted her conversation. read more

The staff here is extremely knowledgable and they have a great selection of snowboarding gear. It's nice to be able to try things on and see them in person as opposed to just ordering them online. My girlfriend is new to snowboarding; We had been to multiple other stores looking for boots that fit her correctly and ultimately had no luck. We went to Les Moise and they spent over 30 minutes with her making sure she found something that not only worked, but was comfortable. I was very impressed with their knowledge of what would/wouldn't work without her having to try on every boot there. I will definitely be going back! read more

inexperienced staff-dropped my x-country skis off to get bindings screwed in. gave the teenager my boots (because i was told to) and he gave them back saying they didn't need them. went to pick them up (had a group outing that morning) and the technician in back said he left me a message that he needed my boots. i didn't get a message. read more

Overpriced. I tried to get my skis installed there but they were simply too busy. There staff is friendly though, especially the kid who helped me pick out poles. They have a great selection of stuff, but at prices only rich Brookfield people could afford. With that being said, Laackey and Joys is more expensive. read more
