I've been going to Les Schwab for years, but after today I'll never go back. I had a battery that was old and needed replaced. I asked them about replacing it and wanted the same exact battery that was already in my truck, it's an AGM battery and I wanted the same one replaced. They told me they didn't carry those batteries. Fair enough. So I went to O'Reilly and picked one up. I took it to this shop and was told they "won't install side parts". WTF? I told them I'd be happy to buy the battery from them and have them install, but that I was told they don't carry it. Needed a little trouble-shooting done after a problem surfaced after having my tires rotated and balanced. Front office staff, the one on the left, was rude and condescending. She would not let me speak to a tech. Later, I did manage to speak to a tech just because he happened to stroll into the front office. He was so helpful and friendly. Not at all like the young office gal who he said was new, but who acted like she knew everything there is to know about tires. (She literally even diagnosed my problem!) He deserves five stars though. Super friendly and helpful. So I'm putting three stars. Before he helped me, I was going to give one star. On a very snowy day in Oct 2022, we were stranded at 4:30pm with a flat in our rental 4WD that we were going to have to drive through snowy roads and off road the next day. Les Schwab sent out their truck to our hotel location, switched out the spare with the flat one and fixed it the same evening. And, they didn't charge us for any of this even though we were from out of town and our car was a rental (so no chance of return business). I don't know if it's Utah hospitality or just the service as this Les Schwab - but I would definitely recommend this location and shop. read more

Had a slow leak from a nail, and stopped here for a repair. Les Schwab is my go to tire store, and despite being very busy they fixed the flat quickly. I was initially disappointed they charged me ~$20 to fix it, no big deal, but the regional manager called me the next day to apologize and refund the charge. I will never go here again! Les Schwab was dishonest and tried to take advantage of me. I have had a slow leak in one of my tires since I started driving it a couple of months ago (it's a company car). When I took it into Les Schwab they told me I had a hole on the sidewall that couldn't be repaired (without ever showing it to me) and that I needed to replace all four tires. I told them that two of the tires were replaced in March and that I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me because my company was paying for this. They lied about the amount of tread left on my 6 month old tires. When I took it to Discount Tire, they showed me the tire which clearly had a split on the inside (which is why I don't think Les Schwab even took off the tire). They did think two of the tires should be replaced but gave me options for what I could put on. Les Schwab didn't give me options and tried to sell me the same tire that Discount quoted me for $100 more a tire (exact same tire). Les Schwab was clearly dishonest and out to make a profit. They lied to me about what was wrong with the tire and they lied about me needing new front tires saying the tread was way less than what it was. Then they told me it was my fault for driving bad. Employees at Discount Tire do not work off commissions and therefore are more honest about customer needs. I don't like working with dishonest people and won't personally or let our company give Les Schwab any more business. I just saved my company $1400 by going to Discount Tire and not blindly going along with Les Schwab's crap. This is a horrible way to run a business! Shame on you! read more

I went into the location to go over tires and finalize an appointment to have them installed. I worked with Tristan and he was amazing to work with. He went over the tires with me, their pros and cons and I decided on a set then finalized my appointment. 10+ stars for Tristan. Then comes the appointment day. I arrived and was checked in by York. Not even a minute into me being there, he is trying to upsell different tires. He was telling me how the tires I had chosen earlier were really not that good for my car and I should come look at other tires. To put it mildly, it PISSED me off!! No respect for my decision; just an upsell. Since I have the tires, I will go back for the things that came with that but I will definitely have to decide if I will go back for anything more. Oslea was my technician. I had a flat tire on the highway and my spare was not the correct size for my car. I asked for my tire to be changed and to check the rest of my other tire pressures. 30 minutes later Oslea pulled me aside and told me the wheel stud is not coming off and my dad and I (my dad is a mechanic for 35+ years in California) told him to proceed to keep trying. He broke the Wheel Stud which meant I had to pay $60 for a new one, I said that's fine. An additional 40 minutes later Oslea told me that he needs to order the wheel stud from O'Reillys 1 mile away from Les Schwab. He should have told me this earlier not 40 min in the service. Many Technicians are hourly based therefore I thought he was wasting time to get his hour in. 1 hour has passed and I asked Julius another Worker what's the hold up. He came back to tell me Oslea has left. Rookie. he did not tell me that he left, my car wasn't ready. shouldn't take this long to change a tire. Julius proceeds to tell me they didn't order the Love nut which meant another 15-10 minute wait. A nice Blonde guy proceeded to help me and only took $10 off of this service Which took 2 hours . AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! I took my truck to this les schwab dealer to get a simple alignment. I've always been leary of les schwab from the stories I heard. But, They were the only ones with an opening in time. Well, sure enough my worst nightmare came true. The technician came out holding what was supposed to be my pitman arm. He wanted to show me how much damage I had in my front end and was very concerned that I was going to drive my death trap of a truck to Vegas the next day. In addition to the pitman arm (that wasn't mine) he came out with a work quote of almost $1200. First of all the truck is a 2019 and only has 50k miles on it. I was impressed in his confidence that I would fall for his lies. I'm sure many people do. But I knew it was probably going to happen like this so I said put the truck together, don't do another thing to it. He had my truck back to me in about 30 seconds which means he did not disassemble the front end. I took the truck to a reputable shop that told me they get a lot of business from les schwab inferior work and people just not believing les schwab and thier These guys will try to rip you off like they tried to rip me off. They add all kinds of fees and charges onto bids to try to take advantage of people who don't know any better. I got an original bid to get my shocks and struts replaced for $500. I went back two months later and they bid me $1400. When I asked where the extra $900 came from he said, "We had to add strut mounts and bellows." That's only $205.02. I asked where the other $700 came from and he said, "supply chain backups." O'reillys and autozone seem to have things in stock at a reasonable price. He didn't work with me on price or have anything else to say. These guys will take advantage of anyone who doesn't know about cars. read more

There are so many good tire break places don't chance bring one of the screwed over customers. And just like other customers they refused to let me off the parking lot without putting on their very pricey tires. Wish I had called the cops to see if it their force was unlawful. I had an amazing experience last month when I went to this location to get new tires for wheels that I had purchased. They staff was very friendly and greeted me outside to assist me with what I needed. I came in having an idea of tires that I wanted to get, and when the team member looked it up and found that for my particular wheels I had purchased the tire would be very expensive due to the diameter, width or something else (I sort of just trusted him). He then proceeded with some great other options that would significantly bring down the over all cost for me, with a tire that would be really comparable. The tires only difference was performance during rain - and even then hardly a difference to me, especially with my vehicle being 4WD. Then to make sure that the tires fit, they did a test mount and turn-test (whatever they call it) to make sure that the wheels and the tires selected would fit on the vehicle and not rub. I loved that they walked me out to see and check it make sure the tire was 100% what I wanted before we moved forward. Additionally, the employee pointed out to me that one of the wheel covers on the one tire was actually different than the rest of them, and they were able to order it in for me so they would all match. It was the slightest difference, but they noticed and I greatly appreciate it! Had an amazing experience, always have at Les Schwab, but this location went above and beyond! read more

This place is good for getting a quick alignment check and tire change but when you do a tire pressure check whenever your tire pressure indicator light flicks on, do remember to check the tire pressure caps once the guys here are done with restoring your tire pressure to factory recommended psi settings. The reason I ask to check is because I have had 2 instances wherein the tire pressure caps were missing on the passenger side of vehicle due them being not fitted tightly and as a result one risks losing pressure faster than before and it matters especially during winter and cold weather in general. So I would recommend that you remember to check them post a tire pressure check at this place read more

Bought 4 Hankook tires for my wife's murano for around $1200. Took it back a few months later for a tire rotation like we were supposed to. After the rotation, the tires were SO LOUD. Sounded like we had put monster truck tires on there! Took it back in to get an explanation and they said there was an alignment issue and the tires had worn unevenly. I would assume they would look at that when installing them?! I asked if they would replace the tires since they didn't tell us that when they installed them.....and they said that would be another $1200. Are you kidding me? Still driving on the loud tires because I don't want to drop another $1200. Needless to say, Les Schwab has lost my business along with anyone else I talk to. read more

I had a very bad experience here. I had a killer suspension put on my truck and had les schwab do the alignment. Afterwards the truck was pulling all over the place. I took it down to a specialty alignment shop in Springville (Sids). After that it was perfectly straight and smooth down the road. But what really made me mad was that when I went back to Les Schwab they would not refund my money for their poor work, and the manger was rude. They took the tire right away and spent 20+ minutes trying to find the problem (coming back out to update and check in halfway through) before deciding it was a faulty valve which they replaced for free. The young lady at the counter was very nice and said it would be about a half an hour. 45 minutes later they hadn't even pulled my vehicle into the service bay. I, like many others it appears, have been ripped off after having purchased an alignment for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle was new and only 15,000 miles but i noticed it pulling to the right. I had my wife take it in (iWork out of state), and upon my return, approx 1 week later, i drove it and it still pulled. I also discovered that no paperwork was provided detailing the adjustment as is common practice and necessary. I called and spoke to their tech who assured me the alignment was performed correctly. I was perplexed top say the least. I embarked on a path top address the tires assuming that was all that was left that could be the cause. Now, a month later and with new tires, the vehicle still pulls. I took it to jeep and they very quickly pointed out that the automatic airbag self leveling function on the Summit, must be turned off in the computer to perform an alignment. An obvious oversight by Les Schwab. I then called the manager there (Nate) and had a polite conversation explains to him the sequence of events and my recent education from jeep. He quickly assured me there machine would have told them what steps to follow and that they did it correctly. This was an obvious un truth. "get in the vehicle and drive it and the pull is obvious," I explained. I didn't pay 110.00 for a computer to tell a minimum wage employee that everything is fine, i paid for an alignment. He was wholly un willing to address the issue, now complicated by my returning to work in California and electing to take the jeep with me. A REFUND IS WHAT IS CALLED FOR HERE. Since speaking with him Jeep informed me that the on board computer logs all activities and they confirmed that the airbags have never been turned off. I will never do business with Les Schwab again. So far my experience has been lackluster with Les Schwab. Originally I came here to purchase a full set of tires, and let them know I wanted to keep the best tire of my originals to be used as my emergency spare (There were a couple that were decent) Upon getting back to my house I got curious and looked underneath my vehicle to find out that they left the worst tire on the spare rack. Went back and the service rep gave me a stupid look when I told him what I found. Secondary note is the wait time. I've came back in here twice to get a flat repaired and each time has taken over an hour and a half to get completed. Each of those were simple fixes. End state on my experiences: They do offer good products, and the quality of their work is decent (Something that should be expected). However, something I've learned is to trust someone, but always check their work....and go to Walmart for simple flat repairs. read more

The schwab stands for schwabing the deck of their pirate ship. Every-time I would go in they would try to convince me that I need a part that I didn't need. On two occasions I told them not to install the unnecessary part and they installed the part anyway. When I complained they said I would have to pay for the part because they already installed it. The final straw was when they wouldn't rotate my tires because the front tires were slightly more worn than the rear. (which is very common.) They demanded that I purchase two new tires. I am never going back to these Pirates. I rotated the tires myself and then drove on those tires an entire year before I had to buy new tires. In addition to this their manager and the employees were flat out rude. If you want to show your kids what modern day pirates look like then go to Les Schwab. All others avoid this place. read more

Came in for tire rotation on my CRV 2017 and oil change as well as emissions. Busy Saturday so it was an hour and a half wait. Came back and they only did the emissions. Told me my tires had questionable tread left. They were replaced about 15k ago. Also told me they couldn't get the skid plate off because the bolts were rounded out. Took it down the street to Grease Monkey who promptly performed both services. What's up with that?! My advice...stay away. read more
