The most important take away from this review is fair pricing. Car parts are expensive, as is a good mechanic but Rush is up front and keeps repairs as cost effective as possible. I drive right past the dealership for my make of car and at least 3 other shops because it's worth the extra 20 minute drive for the best value. To list a few of the repairs we've had at Rush: alternator, intake valve, new battery, oil changes, diagnostics, broken hood release, brakes and even reattaching trim that was falling off. Rush has kept 3 of our family's cars going for many years. Since we buy used and then drive them into the ground. We have also been advised by Rush mechanics when it is no longer cost effective to make a repair, which I appreciate, because there's no sense throwing good money after bad. I rely on reviews to make informed decisions, myself, so I hope this is helpful. I trust Rush with my auto maintenance and repairs and definitely recommend them.

They took their car in and Dustin found that the drivers side rear break needed replacement. He did it at a reasonable price. They also asked him to take a look at the drivers front head lamp and panel (it's been loose). He took off the front tire to access (and this is where the problem starts). When the tire was replaced the lug nuts weren't tightened (at least after a few hours driving and hearing loud noises from the front end, my son was able to tighten them by hand. We took the car into a Subaru shop in grand junction (after being stuck there over night) and was told that the noise came from not tightening the lugs. After paying them to figure this out, I called Dustin to find out what the heck happened. Needless to say I wasn't happy because if the tire had come loose (it was that bad after the mechanic in Grand Junction got it up on a rack) it would have killed my son and his wife. Dustin said it wasn't his fault and hung up on me. So if you're looking for a mechanic my advice is to keep looking. Nothing to see here.

Being from out of town on a limited time schedule to get the car fixed I turned to AAA for assistance and found this shop on the AAA certified auto repair listings. I decided to go with them because of their high ratings/reviews. My daughter has a 2000 Toyota Echo and she has been having problems with the brake lights staying on once the car was turned off. Each time she arrived at her destination she would have to disconnect the fuse under the dash board or her car would be dead when she returned. I called the shop when they opened this morning, explained the situation, and was asked to drop the car off to be inspected. When I arrived Alex is the one who greeted me, remembered the conversation we had on the phone earlier. After the paperwork was completed he explained the process, the estimated cost for that specific issue but also made sure that I was aware the cost would be different if that wasn't the issue and the diagnostic showed something different. I let Alex know I was staying at the hotel down the street, which was a little over 3 miles away, and would be walking to/from the shop. When he heard the situation he offered to drop me off/pick me up but I declined... it's a beautiful day outside plus it would give me time to talk on the phone with my kiddos. I was on my walk back with less than 10 min to my destination when he called stating my car was fixed and ready to be picked up. He explained that the issue in question looked like it had a fairly new part and only needed to be adjusted properly; once they did it the problem resolved. When I got back to the shop I was greeted by Whitney and to my surprise the invoice read $0.00. He did not try to charge me for a new part, or upsell anything. As it turns out, my son who is not mechanically inclined did change the part about 9 months prior and the issue has been happening since then, so my daughter inherited the issue when she got the car. If you need work honest work done on your car at a reasonable price, look no further because Sav-Mor Auto Clinic is the shop to go!!! Thank you again :)

When our car mysteriously and randomly wasn't starting, we took it in to be checked out. Unable to find anything at first, they told us what they suspected (a dying starter) and didn't charge a penny.
