Last night my friend who was visiting from out of town (with his mom's car) got a flat tire. No problem, get the spare put on and drop of off at Les Schwab while we go to lunch. Which was great- since they said it would take an hour and a half. We return an hour and a half later and the car still has the flat. My friend goes in and talks to them and comes back out and tells us he was told that they can't help him- they don't have a tire that will work. I think that's odd so I phone another local Les Schwab to see if they have a correct tire- they do, and recommend I double check with the center where we are- because that seems really odd. So I go in and talk the desk girl- she calls in the guy who helped my friend. He informs me that "Yes and no -we can't help him. We don't have the one matching tire- but we can replace both front tires.". Okay. Great. He needs the car drivable to return to Portland that night. The desk girl then informs me that they had called the owner off the car (his mother) and she had told them that two new front tires was what she wanted to do and she would pay over the phone. Okay, great. So...then why didn't you guys do that? Why did you then give my friend back the keys and send him on his way. Why do we now need to leave the car for several more hours? While the desk woman was telling me that, another woman comes out and also begins talking at me - seemingly inconvenienced that I expected them to be helpful. I'm from Oregon and Les Schwabs prides its send on great service - I've always received friendly, helpful service. Not so much the case here. So we leave the car with the inconvenienced, tire center once again. When they call to let the owner know the car is done they also informed him that "his girlfriend was angry and rude" I was annoyed, at best; But I was friendly and just wanted to find out if they actually couldn't fix his car. In conclusion- the service at this Les Schwab was terrible and I strongly recommend they get on par with the company standard. read more

Be careful..I took my car in for an estimate on a brake job. I was quoted an estimate of $436, as the technician said my rotors were shot and needed replaced.. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion at a reputable shop, and ended up paying $196 for new brake pads...The honest technician told me "my rotors were fine". I have done business with les schwab in the past, but never again. read more

Ron Baker one of the manager's at this store is awesome! He gave me an excellent price on tires that nearly bested Costco..our experience with Les Schwab made it well worth the extra few dollars! What an embarrassment of a business! I called to get tires rotated and asked if they had time in the next half hour or so. Russ said yes, so I drove right over. Upon entering I was told the wait was 2.5 hours. What? OK, so I put my name in and came back after 2.5 hours. Sat down in the unheated waiting room that was littered with garbage and 5 other dismal looking people. After almost an hour, Russ emerged and said they would be unable to rotate my tires, and I would need to come back? What? Terrible work, terrible customer service, and a terrible experience. Try Discount Tire. At least they can handle a tire rotation. read more

Figuring out i might have possible made an appointment at another store but didn't have the time to drive all the way there, these guys did not turn me away, they said check her in and we will get it started. I went there yesterday to have them look at where I had a leak on my brake fluid. After waiting a hour they came back and told me I needed new brakes on the rear. On the right back side a caliper has a leak. Their quote was almost $600. I told them I was gonna look around. They also left me leave with my brake fluid dangerously low. Today I am at Discount Brakes on Bothell to get it fixed and all I needed was one new caliper. I didn't need brakes at all. I have never had bad experience with Les Schwab but at this location. Amazing job at Discount Brakes in Bothell. Took only a hour and that was waiting for the caliper to show up. They even rotated my tires free of charge. read more

I went here once today (august 16th) b/c my psi was low (under 20) on one of my tires. Left thinking everything was okay. Later that evening, i saw my psi was low again (under 25) so i rush over to les schwab; behind a lot of traffic, call the number told them my reason and asked what time they clossed. They clossed @ 1800 (6pm) it was 6:02 and the guy that inwas talking to said, just come on in, everyone was starting to close up, a different guy came up to my window and asked me what he could do tp help. So i told him, and he opened the garage door and brought my car in. Took my wheel off and did their thing, found a hole. I thank them so much. read more

I've been here several times for tires and rotations but nothing major. Recently I got a quote from another dealer for over $1,100 worth of work on my truck. I went to Les Schwab for a 2nd opinion because I felt I was being taken at this other place. Les Schwab got me in the very next day and did NOT diagnose according to this other dealer. (For example, they told me my brake fluid was black & needed to be flushed & replaced for $99, Les Schwab said it was clear & did not need to be changed.) Les Schwab quoted me for $600+ less than what the other shop did. I am very relieved that I decided to get a 2nd opinion & will definitely go to Les Schwab in the future. read more

Les Schwab in Bothell is amazing!!! I am a girl and dont know anything about wheels and tires and alignment and all that....they were completely honest and never tried to scam me, they were quick and kept me aware step by step of what was going on. Not to mention, they gave me a great deal and have excellent prices! They even offered to give me a ride to work while they were working on my car. All I have to say is that Les Schwab is awesome and I will continue to go back to them for all my work :) read more

What happened to them running out to greet you? Apparently they don't do that and they don't want to bother going out to your vehicle to see if your tire is repairable. Guess they didn't want our business. Turns out it wasn't repairable AND I needed 4 new tires. They could have made over $900 bucks off me but...oh well. Their loss. read more

I've been to a lot of these stores, but this one in particular is terrible. No one comes to greet you at your car, which is a company policy. You have to go inside to find any help. Anyway, I stopped here a few days ago to have air put into my tires and today the low pressure indicator was back on so I stopped in again. The over tanned rep with a really rude attitude told me it would be over an hour (for a procedure that only took a few minutes at other locations) When I told her that I found that a bit excessive as I was only on a break from work, she rudely stated that I have to wait my turn. She then suggested that nothing was wrong because the temperature outside was affecting them. (I know my own car, and the temp outside is mild.) She also didn't cover any cost involved, so when I asked about the charge, she was very rude again and snapped at me. I will never stop at this store again. Les would not be proud. read more

Call ahead to see about having my rotors machined, I got the go ahead that they could get them done. Jack my car up and disassemble, take my rotors in and was told they could have them done by the next day? What a joke. These guys......I feel like I should bake them cookies or something! I have a Mercedes- Benz E320 and so of course it's a money pit, but when I took it in for brakes, they did only the work it needed and didn't try to sell me on some bullshit it didn't. I needed only two new tires and it blew my mind that they didn't try to sell me four. When the brake notification in the dash didn't go out after they did the brake work, they literally spent the day doing everything they could to get it to re-set. Even called Mercedes-Benz for help and after finding out it was an ABS situation, they ordered the part and put it in on DEEPLY DISCOUNTED labor because of all the trouble! A few weeks later, I hear some front end creaking, take it back to these guys and they tell me it's some upper ball joint issue which isn't a cheap fix, so they totally found a way to sneak some lube in there to keep it quiet until I can bring it back in for the big job. Les Schwab service has really taken a dive. Lights came on for tire service monitor, so take the vehicle to Les Schwab as soon as they opened. Told that it was just a low tire pressure in one tire. Later that day while driving around, it came back on, took it to the Bothell Les Schwab, now i have to wait with my elderly handicap mother for over an hour to get it looked at AGAIN! This time all four tires are low and they find a screw in the tire...Well, Les Schwab, are you sure? read more

I just had a pretty awful experience at Les Schwab. I came in for a free brake check. I was told it would take approximately an hour. After an hour, my car was still in the parking lot untouched since I arrived. After an hour and a half, I was told my brakes could not even be looked at unless I got new tires for liability reasons because they were due for replacement. I knew my tires had a high amount of miles on them and I didnt want my past hour and a half to go to waste so I first asked about their tire options and then asked a "worst case" figure on the cost of new brakes. He gave me a number for new brakes, I did some quick calculations in my head, and decided to go with new tires too at this time. They set me up with new tires and proceeded with the brake check. The service man helping me comes back and shows me an estimate that exceeds his original "worst case" by several hundred. Of course I'm taken by surprise and tell him I'm no longer interested in brake service at Les Schwab before shopping around some more. I pay for the tires and come back home. After price checking the tires online, I'm finding that I could have gotten them cheaper as well by about $150 all together. This seems like one of those places that preys on the ignorance of people's car knowledge. Take my advice and do some research before blindly coming here to avoid overpaying and if you do decide to still come in, be ready to dedicate your day in their waiting room. read more

Daughter had a lug stud broken off on the front tire. Didn't want her driving it with only 3 lug nuts holding the tire on. Drove it to Les Schwab to get it fixed. Russ looked at it and said unfortunately the front lug nut studs are a pain, along with ruining the bearing. Quoted me a price and I thought it was high, but he broke it down and explained it very clearly. Regardless of the cost it needed to be fixed. Russ says it will be ready in a few hours and will call me when done. A few hours pass and Russ call's and says the car is ready and they were able to fix it for less than half of the price quoted. Said the bearing didn't need to be replaced. Very pleased to have the car fixed and cost considerably less than quoted. Thanks! read more

I needed a stud replacement because 1 broke off and one was screwed on tthe wrong way. They were very welcoming. And told me they could fix it in an hour for a quarter of the price I thought it would be. Very Helpful, and I'm coming back here next time I have a similar issue. read more

I have been a loyal Les Schwab customer since 1990. However, the service at this location was sub-par. I got a flat in a tire and since I have a 4x4 it was necessary to replace all four tires. Despite the fact all four tires had useful/valid tread, I was told they would not be covered under warranty. After replacing, the dealer threw my spare tire, wheel lock, and extra lug nuts in the back without securing anything. In combination, this was the worst service I've received from a Les Schwab in over 35 years. read more

Looks like I'm not alone in my opinion after reading the reviews... I went in for a brake inspection and was told I needed new PADS and tires as well. I gave them the go-ahead to do both. They did the brake work the first day and when I was given the bill, to my astonishment, they had replaced the brake calipers (to the tune of almost $400) in addition to the pads which according to other brake service companies, was completely unnecessary. The following day, I had them replace the tires and whoever did the mounting work beat the paint job on all four of my alloy wheels pretty badly, including the spokes and lug wells. When I went to pick up my car, I was told the damage to my paint was "unavoidable." Since this was the first time I had tires replaced at Schwab, I wonder how Discount Tire avoided damaging my wheels during the many visits to that store. Discussed in advance that the rim would need bead seal, and was told no problem they can do that. After picking up the repaired tire and it was still flat they told me they would never have done beat seal. Other stores do. Would have been nice to have known that before I wasted 2 hours off work to pick up the tire. Also when I pick up the rim the center cap is broken. I took the tire off myself and saw the center cap was intact. I was told the technician never removed the center cap and it must have been broken before. Bald faced lie. I've given up on this store, many bad experiences from teaching the sales lady how tires are rated in miles, to them changing my name and phone on the order so I had to wait two extra hours. I've also found if you don't order four of there most expensive tires, you will be last to have them installed. Bad service is an understatement. read more

Don't have your customer waiting for an hour only to see that you all hadn't even started the work. I feel you wasted my precious time. I recently moved back to the NW. Thank goodness I can use Les Schwab again. Brought my truck in for an alignment. Next day I had a loud popping in my front end. I checked the upper control arm bolts that are used to adjust the alignment (I'm a mechanic). The torque is 140ft lbs. 1 out of the 4 bolts was actually tight. Not just a little loose either, one bolt I got 5 full turns out of before it torqued. I know they were within spec before I brought the truck in because I just replaced and torqued them the day before. I know as a mechanic mistakes are made so I'm not so mad about the fact that they left the entire front end of my truck loose. I'm mad about the fact that when I called I was told you can bring it in if you think you need to but its going to be a 2 hour wait before I can look at it. Really where did you customer service disappear to? You leave my truck unsafe and then want me to wait 2 hours? This is not the same Les Schwab I went to when I was a kid. read more

Normally I would not give such a bad review but this is the second time this has happened to me at the same business. I took my unmounted tire and wheel in to have a hole plugged and both times they have given me the same answer as to try and bully/force me into buying a new tire. Both times i was given the same BS answer. They take the tire off the rim then tell me after waiting over 2 hours that they can't put the tire back on because there is slight damage from it being driven on while low. Ok then just put it back on the rim and I'll plug it myself. No they say because they don't think it's safe and they don't want to be held liable in case it goes flat. Now I dont know about you but that pretty much is a bully tactic to get you to buy another tire from them. Mind you now, they have done this same thing to me twice after making me wait over 2 hrs. Both times i gave them my phone number and they could have easily called me rather than having to drive back before they inform me. This is a very shady business practice and I highly recommend you avoid this shop at all cost and try Discount Tire or Firestone. I gave yhem one star and to me that was being very generous. read more

I recently had a spare tire replaced at the Les Schwab Tire Center in Bothell. The tire replacement was wonderful. The problem was the customer service I received putting the spare tire back under the vehicle. I don't own a car lift and was trying to avoid crawling through the oil, mud and water on the ground outside as it's cold in the middle of December. I specifically asked the person at the front desk if they would mind stowing the spare tire for me. They told me that wouldn't be a problem at all. When I returned to my vehicle after the "service" was finished I was surprised to find that the work I requested had not actually been completed. At this point I'd been waiting for an hour and it was not worth spending more time waiting for something that was already supposed to be done. I went ahead and stowed the tire back under my vehicle myself in the back of their parking lot (just like I was trying to avoid in the first place). I was heading over to see my mom three years ago and my cars break light went on as I was coming down the pass. I was headed to this Les Schwab store since it was the closest to my location at the time and had the best reviews based on my GPS. It was late afternoon on a Saturday and on the Bothell Everett Highway my tie rod snapped and put my tire on the ground. It was THE. WORST. DAY. EVER. (My mom was in the hospital with cancer and not expected to survive much longer. I was going to say "goodbye.") The guy from Les Schwab pulled up behind me in his blue truck and stayed with me until the tow truck came. Les Schwab provided me the "parts evidence" that the previous "insurance authorized repair center" used scrap yard pieces and the bolts involved in a previous accident! These guys let me stay until after closing and my family was able to come get me. They did over and above helping me get everything in place and the repair work done properly I cannot say enough. These guys are amazing. I have only used Les Schwab ever since they saved my bacon, and my trip to see my mom. If you need tires, go here. They will take VERY good care of you. read more

Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance, dropped off my car on the appointed day, confirmed the amount of time needed to fix, left my phone number to be called when finished or if problems occurred. 3 hours later I return to see my car where I parked it. There had been an issue with the ordered parts and instead of calling me to let me know or starting the repairs, they helped everyone else. It took an additional 4 hours to start and finish working on my car. 7 hours total. Wouldn't have minded if I drove in without an appointment. I'd recommend not leaving your car. If any problem arises, they will not call you. Instead, they will help every other customer until you return to pick up your car and discover it unfixed. Also, as they were fixing, they found other things 'recommended' to fix at this time. Funny how that wasn't on the quote. Can't remark on the quality of work as of yet but I can say the customer service at Les Schwab Bothell Everett Hwy sucks. read more
