I had a set of new tires installed on my Tesla April a year ago. The car is a 2022. Now my Tire pressure sensors are failing. From my research the new type of sensors last anywhere from 2-6 years, not the 7-8 years the older non BLE sensors use. Over the phone they told me the 7-8. At the time of the tire installation, I was never told I should replace my TPS sensors as the will not last the duration of the new tires. I bought sensors myself but they want to charge me to install them. I already paid for mount and balance, now I will have to pay to have it done again. Hopefully on my Tuesday appointment they see the situation and at least just install the sensors I bought free of charge. Will see what happens. read more

Brake line broke leaving Patron's with Les Schwab near by. 40 minutes before closing they took our car in, found the parts ran and got them installed them and tested the brake system all before closing. What a great service. read more

I have used this business for decades, since it opened. I recently went there for a minor repair and was told part of my steering assembly was leaking and provided an estimate of $1,500 to remedy. My long-standing mechanic dissembled, inspected, and found the steering assembly is fine, no repairs are needed and it is not leaking. He then said he has had other customers this business has tried to cheat. I wrote and sent this experience to friends of mine and received several responses stating the respondent had experienced the same. They seem to particularly like to prey upon women. Rolled in with a screw lodged in one tire's tread and the remaining tires inflated to 35 psi, as all four should be. Rolled out 45 min later (only one other car there and about five guys in the bay) with the screw removed and the hole patched, great thanks, BUT with all four tires very carefully deflated to 28 psi. WTH? The label in the doorframe clearly says 35. Of course it set off the low tire pressure sensor. Fortunately, I keep an inflator in the car, and had to redo all tires when I parked later, but seriously?! read more

Went in today for a flat repair, ended up having to go back (NOT their fault) there was not only a nail in my tire but also a hole in my sidewall. Thankfully I bought the tires there and they're still fairly new so the guys got me a new one ordered under warranty of course!! Used to be great, helpful with tires, oil changes. There was a time I would have given a 5 star review. They were my go-to for auto on the Island. However, some of their new employees are not very incompetent - scheduled me but forgot to put me on the schedule. When I dropped off my car for oil change the woman didn't check if my appt was on the books, apparently told noone I arrived, so they all went to lunch with my car sitting there untouched, after an hour. Makes me wonder if my oil change would even have been done properly, if they had remembered to get around to it. Unsure if I'll give them another chance. I'm finally learning that it's just best to go off-Island for anything you want done right. read more

I would stay away. Went in for an alignment, they told me it would be 30 minutes so I waited... 2 hours later he told me he ripped the exhaust from the hangers and it was my fault as well as he could not align the vehicle. Why my car was put on a 2 post lift for an alignment I could not tell you. I ended up paying $150 for an alignment that wasn't far off from my own, and two broken exhaust hangers held up with lock wire. Do better. read more

Stopped in for air. Had a message on my dash to have the tire pressure corrected. The kid even looked at the tag in door. Said the tires are aired up properly, 40 front, 35 rear. The tag states 32 front 38 rear. When I doubled checked at home they were actually 32 front and 35 rear. This kid needs some training! read more

These people work hard! Local place for rotating tires in Clinton. Over the past 18 years I've gotten new rims tires and brakes from Les Schwab and they always hustle to get you in and out. I used to wait in the bagel store but now I try to walk the dog while waiting (to me, the lobby has too much off gassing from the brand new tire collection- I always wonder if it's healthy air for the workers in the lobby, but the repair bays are fortunately outside) .. anyway it's one of the few chain company on the island but it's fortunate we have a place to get tires replaced on the island- and prices are definitely competitive. Was leaving for a road trip to Denver on Thursday... Tuesday morning I had them check my brakes and I had a brake issue. They did not have any Wednesday appointments available so they stayed late Tuesday evening to get my brakes completed for my trip. Their customer service is the best of any business on the south end! I have been going here for years with 3 cars, bought tires, repaired flats, brakes, etc. and their customer service is always consistently top notch! read more

Brake pads needed replacing and I went to this store. I left my car, and when I came back the estimate was $800. It included new rotors. I told him I only wanted the pads replaced and they said they had to do an entire brake system replacement for the warranty. I told them that I just needed the brakes pads and they refused. They wanted to charge me for parts I didn't need. In fact this was confirmed when I went to a actual break repair shop! I had the pads replaced for less than $200. This is a fraudulent business model and I would avoid at all costs. Also a couple weeks ago they put a tire on my son-in-law's car and the wheel fell off, so there's that too. read more

Such an amazing experience. I was hesitant at first due to being talk to rudely over the phone. But I wanted to just give them a shot. I walked in and was greeted very nicely! I came earlier than my appointment and they were okay with it and was able to take my truck in right away. I was maybe in there for an hour, hour half tops. They did an alignment on my truck and now it drives perfect. Especially with all this ice we are dealing with. It feels much more safe, thank Brandon for taking care of our truck. We dropped off one of our cars for a rotation and balance and went on errands. We got a call from the service rep saying they couldn't do the work because we needed new tires and he pushed hard to allow him to install new tires without me coming back to see the actual problem or go over my options. I prefer to shop around for stuff so I told him no, put it all back together and I'll pick up the car and come back at a later date. Long story short, I found the tires he was pushing so hard for me to purchase at 2 other companies for $125 less each, or $500 less for the set, than his price. I previously had two bad experiences at separate Les Schwabs. These experiences put a bad enough taste in my mouth I started doing business at a Les Schwab competitor. However, I decided to give Dan and his crew at the Clinton Les Schwab location a chance to turn a once healthy business relationship that went bad back into a good one (just a reminder that my previous horrific experiences with Les Schwab was not with the Clinton location). Dan and his crew were fantastic! I can't say enough good things about my visit today. Whatever the secret sauce for success in Dan's business is, he has definitely found it. Keep up the great work. My tire was flat. It was just before their closing time in the evening. They said come on in. It was busy, but they managed to get the nail out of my tire and do the repair in less than an hour. I sat comfortably in the lounge with w other women watching the news and had a bag og fresh popped corn. Then when it was finished, they told me it was free. I was visiting family in Freeland and suffered a flat - later found out it was a nail but happily they were able to fix it as the tires are not even a year old and guess what - it was free of charge! I was so confused - my tires were obviously not purchased here and I really wanted to pay them something for their time and obvious service to repair my flat. I found myself looking for a tip jar. I am paying it forward as best I can by loving them on yelp - I hope more people who live on south end will consider this place over going to town as the convenience of their follow-up service is worth it. Whatever happened to good old customer service? The woman behind the counter was extremely rude. She didn't even want to get a tech for us. Didn't even want to have someone check the part to see if they had it. They weren't even busy! This is not the Les Schwab we used to know. My husband used to work at Les Schwab. My wife's truck had a dead battery. We rolled in at 4:50 on a Sat. Afternoon. Will greeted us and tested the batteries immediately. When I looked at the store hours, they closed at 5. Will told us the batteries were bad around 5:10. I told him I'd come back Sunday so I didn't keep him. He insisted replacing both batteries that took him well after 6:30 into the evening and never complained and was always smiling. Beyond rude and beyond disappointed with both service and integrity. I would have rather paid the extra $100 to be towed elsewhere if I knew what I was going to be dealt with. The service and support of the staff at the Clinton Les Schwab could not be better. Dead battery? On their advise, they charged the current one for no charge when I'd requested to replace it. A screw or nail into our tire, -- rim-to-ground flat -- After Triple A put the donut tire on I drove to Les Schwab, left the flat tire and went about my day. They repaired and texted it was ready. In a jiffy they replaced the tire and checked and tightened all the other tires. They REFUSED to accept even a grateful monetary Tip. When we needed new tires, we were advised honestly and practically to not overspend for a car we were considering selling. Replaced our battery. We live on Whidbey, but work on mainland. We'd travel to Whidbey JUST TO USE this Les Schwab; they're that good, that honest and epitomize the word 'Trustworthy' They have repeatedly earned our Trust. read more

We have used this Les Schwab store for seven years. We have had brake jobs, bought tires, oil changes, flats repaired, new batteries, and alignments. We have always had good experiences. They are quick to get the job done and I've never had to have the work redone. Lots of free flat repair and winter rotation of tires. When one of the wheel covers came off because they didn't attach it correctly they replaced it immediately. Thanks to all of the staff for providing such great service. read more

Worst customer service I've ever had at a tire store. This is the 2nd time I've been less than impressed here. I waited 2 days for a quote on some tires that needed to be ordered. When I called on day 2 to follow up, the Assistant Mgr said this; "We're too busy to call for a price". I called the Oak Harbor store and the gentleman who took my call looked it up on his computer and gave me a price in less than a minute! The Clinton store is apparently so busy they don't need/want my business. I'll go to Oak Harbor in the future. read more

My wife and I stopped by the Clinton Les Schwab today to check on pricing for new tires for our vehicle. Dan and his crew were fantastic! In choosing the tires, Dan gave us 3 options. After discussing our driving needs he "steered" us to the perfect selection. With the great customer service, we bought a set of tires and had them installed in less than an hour. We had our dogs with us and they let us bring them in to the store, which was awesome since it was raining. I have used Les Schwab for my business vehicle stopping in at various locations in Western Washington. I have always been happy with their customer service, but today i found a new favorite. Dan, Jason, and his crew are fantastic! We were informed that they also do oil changes at this location. We will definitely be back. They have a well organized store that is clean and inviting. These guys are the BEST! A few months back I had a flat and they fixed it FOR FREE! Today, my brake light came on and I zipped over. I watched as they did a full brake inspection and filled my brake fluid reservoir ... and they showed me where a potential problem might arise and how to need to keep an eye on it. And, after 90 minutes of a tech's time ... they, AGAIN, didn't charge me and it was FREE! They've earned my repeat business and they will surely get it!
