I went into the Jiffy Lube on Harrisville Road yesterday for an oil change the concerned attendant told me he had one big concern and that was that my back brakes were were trash it was metal on metal if I didn't get them changed soon I'd also need calipers but for only $559 they could get this done for me replace my rotors and my brakes in just an hour or an hour and a half I laughed went back to where I'd had my brakes done in July of last year they took all my wheels off show me that my brakes were still in great shape so stay away stay away stay away from the Jiffy Lube in Harrisville because they're big rip off read more

Brought my car here for a smog and the tech was suggesting some other things that needed to be done. After some back and forth it was concluded that the item I had agreed to didn't need to be done. The manager came out and apologized for the tech's behavior. The other tech helping me was very helpful as well. Apart from that hiccup, I didn't have to wait long for the smog. read more

I just had the best emission test experience ever they were very friendly and courteous they all wore masks and they even had a fun conversation with us while they did the test. The test didn't even take more than 5 minutes. If your looking for a place to do an emission test this is the place. read more

I showed up at there store at 5:40pm for an oil change. The gentlemen informed me that they weren't taking anymore cars because they were too close to closing time. I told him that I had bought a Groupon online and the hours showed that they were open until 7pm and I was leaving on a trip early the next day. He said he was sorry but they closed at 6pm. I sat in the car for a bit trying to figure out what I was going to do. I had already spent money on the groupon and didn't really want to spend money on a oil change somewhere else, but was coming to the conclusion that that was what I was gonna have to do. The gentlemen then told me to give him a minute to see if his supervisor would let them take one more car. He came back quickly and said they could and totally made my day!! They were very kind even tho I'd added one more car to their list. They were awesome!! read more

As far as oil changes alone goes, they're okay so far. I don't love taking my car here for oil changes so I usually just do it myself. But if the weather is really bad or I am short on time i'll cave and bring it here. So far I haven't had any major problems. The low star rating is in regards to their Safety Inspection and Emissions procedure. Now obviously if a place fails your vehicle you aren't going to praise them. They haven't given me much trouble but I have witnessed some shady procedures. They have some unwritten rule that they have to fail everyone for SOMETHING. Almost like if they pass you the first time, they will get in trouble or something. When I went, I knew I needed new tires so they failed me which was fine because I already had an appt for new ones at Discount. But while I waited I heard them fail another vehicle for a cracked tail light. Then when I returned for the follow up after the new tires, they failed another for a cracked taillight. Funny thing is, I had a cracked taillight and they said nothing about it. But since they had already failed me for tires, they had met their quota and could then overlook any other potential issue. It may look good statistically on paper and show the state that they are "thorough" but it isn't genuine whatsoever. They're just playing the game. So only come here if you want them to be overly strict and act like a minor flaw is too dangerous to pass you. I'm pretty sure they'd fail a brand new car straight off the show room floor. read more

Disclaimer- I'm writing this review 4 days after my experience with this location to make sure I'm writing this absent of emotion. We sent our 17 year old son to this store to get his oil changed. We prepaid with a Groupon and sent him with a $20 bill to cover any taxes. They came in and asked if he'd like them to top off his coolant for $7.99. He said yes, knowing he had enough money to cover it. They then showed up with his air filter and said "this is the worst air filter we've ever seen" and the "don't worry we'll hook you up". not mentioning there was a charge. Keep in mind, the customer is a 17 year old kid. Then they asked him if he'd like the tires rotated. Again, "we'll hook you up". Then they asked if he'd like the high mileage oil treatment since his car had high mileage...again, not mentioning any additional charges. So, the bill for this simple (prepaid) oil change came to $116.00!!! Why would anyone agree to all these additional charges with only a $20 bill in their pocket? I had to drive down to the location and eventually paid the bill after some "discussion" and I didn't want them to lay another finger on my son's car. The manager told me he'd give me a $10 discount because "It's the least he could do". SMGDH! Bottom line, I will NEVER do business with Jiffy Lube again. Taking advantage of a 17 year old kid is absolutely horrible and this is one of the worst businesses I've ever dealt with. I would give them less than 1 star if I could. read more

First of all I hope I have the correct store it's in Harrisville Utah to store number is 3317. Nevertheless, I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for many years the last manager there was Colby with a very calm calm demeanor he's now at the North Ogden location. I called today and I spoke with Casey who was formerly at the Riverdale location. And today I had the pleasure of meeting Jake the new manager at the Harris Field location store number 3317. I was having oh, well to me huge issues regarding my reverse lights and my license plates lights. I was greeted by Casey who I knew asked me how I was doing I got to be very candid with him our relationship is really good knowing each other for such a long time. And then I got the pleasure of meeting Jake. Jake has a demeanor that is so calming to the point where he had me so relaxed I almost fell asleep lol but it's exactly what I needed and he went above and beyond and he repaired the lights that illuminate my license plate. While listening to all the things that I was going through at present. This part makes me somewhat emotional because when I asked how much I owed he said. There's no charge I'm going to take care of it for you today. All I can say is my visit there today and getting to see Casey and getting to know Jake as the new store manager gave me hope. Thanks to KC and Jake! I wish I had the information to reach the northern regional manager and relay this. read more
