A mechanic on duty informed me that he had a used line on on an old motor. He pulled the line off of the old motor but said his boss wouldn't let him work on my truck until he finished a "locals" truck and then that would be a maybe so. I asked if I could buy the line and change it myself. The owner then stated that he wasn't sure he wanted to sell the line. I called the FORD dealership and they got me one out of Boise by 2:30 in the afternoon. I ended up changing it myself in a parking lot but the owner could have saved me a lot of time and could have replaced the line with a new one the next day knowing he wouldn't need that line. If FORD hadn't had the means to get me a line in 6 1/2 hours, this man would have had me sit for an extra day because he didn't want to sell someone 1,800 miles from home a used fuel line. The mechanic and receptionist are great and really tried to help.
