Never going back to Firestone ever again, the guys at Les Schwab are friendly, they are organized, the store is nice and clean, they do good work and I feel they appreciate my business. I walked into the location in Rancho Cucamonga for a new tire. I waited 8 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. I spoke to the employee and asked to buy a tire like the one I bought the last time I was here. He quoted me a price $150 more than the tire I bought here previously. So, I left. We had a gash in our RV tire. Matt from Les Schwab drove 50 miles to replace the tire. After we left and got about 45 minutes further away, the tire came off and was destroyed... most likely from a slow leak. We called Les Schwab back and, immediately, Matt did a U-turn and came all the way to replace the tire. This time he stayed with us to check the tire. We realized it was still not good and he took the tire off, adjusted it, and put it back on, and it was better. Including drive time, Matt probably spent 6+ hours on our job, but through it all he and the service manager who answered the phone were some of the nicest, most caring service people we've ever experienced. I brought my car in for an oil change, Engine and Cabin Air Filter change on a Saturday, drove home. In the evening used the car and the check engine light turned on. The check engine light has never turned on since I've had this vehicle in 2016. Monday brought it back, I was advised that there were two codes P0420 and VSA 64-11. I felt brushed off, was just told everything that was done was fine and that I could still drive the vehicle, to just get it fixed. There has to be something wrong with what performed on Saturday to have caused this light to turn on and Les Schwab is not taking responsibility or trying to figure out what caused the issue. read more

Gave Les Schwab one too many chances and this last visit was the straw that broke the camels back. Took my 96 S10 in for an alignment after replacing the upper and lower control arms thinking it was going to be a straight forward alignment. Nope, get a call an hour later saying that my alignment was done but that they had issues with my driver side control arms. That "the adjustment was maxed out and they couldn't adjust it more". Ok that's weird. I knew going in that I had a ton of positive camber because I took the existing UCA shims out that had me pretty close to 0* prior to replacing my control arms. I also added torque seal to every bolt to see what they'd adjust/touch. So I show up and sure enough, my driver side has the same positive camber I dropped it off with. I go to my truck to inspect it before heading inside, and noticed that no bolt was broken loose and that no shims were added to fix my camber issue. I head inside and inquire about how they stated "my adjustment was maxed out" and why they didn't add shims to correct the issue. The gentleman helping me, I believe it was Marcos, proceeded to tell me that by adding shims to the upper control arm would actually give me more positive camber. Confused, I told him that adding shims between the frame rail and UCA shaft that sits inside the frame rail would actually push the UCA in correcting my positive camber. He looked over to another tech at the counter with a "get a load of this YouTube mechanic" look then tried to correct me by saying it was the opposite and a very condescending "I could be wrong, but I'm not".... What the actual fu€k. I was fuming at this point. We went back and forth and I told him what he was saying didn't make sense. He reassured me that he KNEW what he was talking about. Yeah I get it, you would assume that a corporate ran tire shop that does alignments on a "daily basis", knew what they were talking about but they clearly didn't. I was done trying to convince the condescending "PRO" and realized that they werent going to do anything about repairing my alignment or keeping me as a customer. All in all, I realized that they either A) don't have competent techs that know how to deal with something like this or B) pick and choose what work they want to half ass while changing for a full service. That being said, I wouldn't recommend Les Schwab at all. I ended up taking my truck down the street to Tire Choice Auto where they were able to actually fix my camber issue with, and youre never gonna believe this, shims. read more

Yesterday I purchased new tires for our 2028 Mazda CX5 at Les Schwab Hemet. I had an appointment and was checked in promptly. The service tech, Trysten, inspected my old tires and brakes and did a complete safety check. As expected, I did need new tires and rear brakes. Trysten went over estimates with two tire options then showed me those tires to help me make a choice. He included an alignment in the estimates but said he would verify the need for that and take it off the invoice if it wasn't needed, which it turned out it wasn't. Trysten estimated the service would take 1 1/2 to 2 hours, and it was completed within that time frame. So far, I am extremely pleased with the Vredestein Hitrac tires I purchased. The service by Trysten was outstanding and Les Schwab Hemet will continue to be our "go to" place for tires, brakes and other services. read more

asked the manager for front and rear bilstein 5100s he said no trouble and gave me a good price for parts and install. said a couple of days that was great. 1 week went by no call. I called and was told we'll call you. Been 3 weeks nothing. I have bought wheels and tires and a lift kit kit. All was good . I made an appointment, said that I would wait at the store for my oil change, this is the third time that I bring my truck here and they made me wait for 2 hours and 20 min because they had to go to the store for my oil type. The mechanic was rude when I told him that they should make sure they have my oil type when I made an appointment, he said "we don't know what kind of oil you take from the appointment and you can go now" I will take my truck to another location from now on. I also needed to stop in San Diego to balance my air pressure because the tires were rotated, and the air wasn't balanced. Back psi on a utility truck was 6 psi lower sow it doesn't bounce on the freeway, so the front was low and the back was high and the truck was bouncing going to work in San Diego. I am and electrician and drive a lot so this could be life and death for me. Even though I love the service here, I work very hard during the week to have to be treated like I'm an idiot, not cool I appreciate the response from Joe but it might be better for them to call me read more

Dee Dee was great, she went over options for new tires. They did fix my broken bolt and patched my tire at no cost. On the other hand I had damage to my vehicle while in their care and afraid to take it back to them. My side mirror is missing a big chunk of plastic now wires are exposed, didn't want to say it was them but did find the missing plastic sitting on my floor board so I know it was their technician that threw it in there and not a random accident on the street. As well my pressure light won't go off and all of the sudden a new tire sensor won't go away. Really wish I could trust them but ill have to take my car elsewhere for these issues. read more

I've been using Les Schwab for several years and should've left this review long ago! Today was the day to do it, I recently got new wheels & tires from a friend for my truck and general manager Chris was happy to help me swap them out for the old rims and tires, and also provided New lugs with a lock, all at a very fair price. I dropped off the vehicle and within a couple hours he was calling me to tell me it was ready for pick up. I got there and Service tech Gabe was wrapping up the job and was very thorough and explaining that my brakes were still good and that everything went well and looked good! Les Schwab tire center is a complete thief for customers. Called to have an appointment for new brake pads. Manager said they have to replace the calipers and not just the pads or they would not do the work. Calipers are designed to last the life of car/truck. The extra $600. is a complect ripe off. My car is in perfect condition. Bought the car new and the milage is only 51k. Thier tires are crappy. Put a new set on my wife car and the were made in Serbia. They only lasted 10k before worn down to unsafe condition. The mechanics don't know what they are doing half the time. Had my wife buy a new battery last year. Came in for a SIMPLE OIL CHANGE and tire rotation at 12:30pm, was told it would take 40/45 mins, it's 2pm and my truck is STILL sitting on the lift.....4 employees standing around talking, goofing off, absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE. I've been told for the past 25 mins that all they have to do is put the oil in it. I've bought NUMEROUS sets of tires over the years here, and bring in all our vehicles for synthetic oil changes...:NEVER AGAIN. Last night driving home I hit someone's old tire tread in the rain. The area was not well lit and I had to swerve to avoid the brunt of the old tread. Long story short in passing that tread my tire was going flat quick...not my first time to this location but these guys not only figured out what happened and patched it. It was a nail or screw that popped out and they sealed and patched it no charge. Amazing crew got me in and out of there in reasonable time. It was cranking too. My Spouse and I have taken both our Ford F150 & Audi Q7 in for service at this Les Schwab Tire Center since we moved to the area 4 month's ago and received top notch customer service with both...since we had just been told by staff at the Valvoline shop nearby that they "did not have the technology" to service our vehicle (after making us wait almost 30 minutes while they inspected our vehicle)... we were pleasantly surprised to get such great service without hesitation at Les Schwab, and a MUCH lower price too! The Hemet Les Schwab was my go to when they first opened, not anymore. After 4 different vehicles with tires etc. no more. Went in yesterday for new tires yesterday and came out with average tires and the good ole upsell. Said I needed to new rear calipers and rotors for 500$, remanufactured calipers mind you. Im 53 years old and been a shade tree mechanic since I was 16 and I know a ripoff when I see one. Said I needed a new drag link and tierod for another 200$. Why you ask, because I complained about uneven wear on my original tires I had installed by them on a brand new car with 100 miles on it, new tires,rims and alignment so obviously according to them its a car with 41,000 miles on it. Look I got good use out of the tires the wear on them were horrible but it wasnt caused by a brand new car you aligned. To come out saying I need a 1000$ dollars worth of repairs is ludicrous. Remanufactured parts, half a brake job with Raybestos parts. 300$ for two rotors come on??? I seen a few customers come in while I was there with complaints regarding previous brake work. I know why cheap parts and unethical practices going on. Off to hunt down a new tire shop. read more

Last week, Husband took in a front wheel hub to have the bearing pressed in, had to leave it there as they were busy and they needed time to get to it. He went back two hours later to pick it up and it still hadn't been touched so he waited while they did it right then. They charged him over $213.99! Today he took the other hub /bearing assembly to Pep Boys to have the EXACT same thing done....15 minutes and only cost $40.00! I called Les Schwab and when asked for an explanation as to why they charge so much, I was told that is their "line item charge for labor".....so they charged us for TWO hours of "labor" for it sitting there NOT being touched, when they actually only spent 15-20 minutes doing any work at all on it. We were long-time customers with them and were big fans of this company from the moment they opened here in town. We have three cars and have always bought our tires and wheels through them. But we'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on. It's sad because the previous managers, that were there when the place opened, were amazing. I was glad to find a Les Schwab in my town in CA after learning about them while living in OR. They have all been exceptional to work with and I will gladly take my car back here anytime. They even checked my old tire gauge and when it was found to be incorrect, they gave me a new one for free. This newer location had comfortable chairs and tables to work at with free WiFi and coffeTop notch service. I've been back in a few times for tire inflations and wiper replacement. I bought my tires at Les Schwab in Portland. Unfortunately here in the valley the closest one is in Hemet. I was having some issue with the tires leaking so I took it to them and they fixed it immediately after discovery the right rear had a gash in the tire. These tires were only just over a year old and unknown if it was road debris or what it was they warranted the tire and I put on a placement for $56.00. I was happy, happy, happy! Very very disappointed today ! For the past years I have been taking my two cars and my daughters cars to Les Schwab in Hemet, CA. Every time their service have good to outstanding, not today! Today, early this morning (8/24/24) I to took my F-150 black truck to check my rear tire. When arrived there were no cars in their parking lot, only the cars inside the shop. After I checked in, I was told by it seems to be the manager that we are going to check your car. Over two hours later, there was never any communication from this employee. How long more for you to check my truck, he indicated we are doing it now, and pointed to a different car. I told him that is not my car. Then he said, Oh is probably going to take another 45 minutes!!! 3 hours to check for a flat tire? At the point I told him I am taking my care, and he said ok. I know he made a mistake, and probably screw up, but he never tried to solve this situation or offer to help, he just said is going to take another 45 minutes. You need to let "customers" know approximate how long a job will take, and if you can't meet that time, you need let to know the customer know again. I lost +3 hours because your poor communication. I don't usually write negative feedback, but this guy ruin my Saturday morning with my family. read more
